Definetly interested but would like to know if I could play a Half-Fiend (Infernal/Pit Fiend.).
Another question hope you don't mind are archetypes aloud?

Half-Fiend Human
Lawful Evil

INT: 8 +4 for Infernal Heritage
WIS: 1d10+7 +2 for Infernal Heritage
CHA: 18 +2 for Infernal HeritageAiming to be a Necromancer battlepriest sort of Cleric.
Will work out a backstory after I hear back from the DM on whether or not this will be ok thinking of either Treason Graverobber or Desecration.End stats would look like this unless you want to put some sort of penelty on me due to the fact I would probably be somewhat overpowered.

While archetypes are allowed, I don't think I can permit Half-Fiend as a racial template to be applied. Put simply, you wouldn't be imprisoned, you'd get destroyed outright.
If you really want to play something with a fiendish heritage, my suggestion would be to go with tiefling.

Backstory should basically encompass what you did to so grievously offend the rulers or law-makers of Talingarde and how you were caught. Details are given in the traits. I'm not going to run this in Golarion.
I'd allow Tattooed Sorc but in the interests of fairness for other players, I'll homebrew that magic in the prison eliminates the ability to use your tattoo. This would then match what happens for others.
Human Undead lord cleric. Grievous offense raising the dead in force. If we're in a more evilly aligned place; raising the dead of a nobel/Bureaucrat. ;-)

I'd go for the latter. You won't have the power level for the former yet. I'd also probably throw in some kind of vendetta angle for explaining why you want to that trouble.

Bit of curiosity, what kind of evil are we aiming for here?
-Horror Flick (Where we all root for the baddie anyhow)
-Stylized Revenge Story (Payback, a Mel Gibson Movie)
-Over The Top (Kill Bill, Sin City)
-Cartoony Villain Romp (Batman Nemesis Unite)
-Psychological (Dexter, a tv series.)
I'm assuming sex-related evil doesn't apply to the cheesy seductress that turns out to be the monster. A rogue might be too mundane, maybe I could opt for that summoner that merges with their companion into a monster.
Or maybe there are too many people in line already. Ho humsies.

Fianna, to put not too fine a point on it, the party will be signing their loyalty over to Asmodeus and the last remaining High Priest in the nation of Talingarde. Following this event, the party will be responsible for the undermining and eventual toppling of the current regime with the intention of raising it as a diabolic nation, a la Cheliax.
It's a more insidious evil than anything listed, although many of those elements exist. For example, the High Priest was once a Cardinal of Mitra who wishes to take revenge against his family for having him 'forsaken'. While seduction will play it's role, a character based solely around that concept might find themselves bored.

Mahorfeus |

Here's the backstory on my antipaladin, Gideon Schrade. I originally put his crime down as High Treason, but Blasphemy is more appropriate at this point.
I didn't know how strong his connection to Asmodeus should be right off the bat, but that can be tweaked if need be.
One day, he came into contact with a creature that was all too aware of his flaws. It was a fiend from the depths of Hell, one of the many devils that served the evil god Asmodeus. Before Gideon could even attempt to strike it down, it spoke. It weaved cleverly spun lies, speaking of Mitra and the church, and of how disposable Gideon was to them. He was a tool which they had no control over, and therefore no use of. A stronger-willed man might have seen through the deception, but Gideon broke, accepting it as revelation. While his god had forsaken him, the fiend told him of one that would accept him wholeheartedly, one that had use for the anger he held within him.
In the days that followed, Gideon stepped onto the path to damnation, receiving the power of an antipaladin. There was but one thing that was asked in turn - to bring down the church of his former god. Blinded by irrational hatred and boundless anger, he foolishly attempted to fight his way to the heart of the church. Though he had grown strong, he did not get far. His former brethren apprehended him, smiting him with the very power he once wielded. Given one chance for redemption, Gideon spat on them, and was swiftly convicted of blasphemy.
Expected to soon be burnt to death at the stake, Gideon still has not forgotten his purpose, or to whom his loyalties lie.

Do you have a cut off date for character entries? Don't think I'll have one in by the end of the night, but thought I would ask so I have an idea.
Though I'm thinking about a Half-Orc Ranger with some type of Archetype. To get an idea of stats:

Foible: Charisma 8
Dexterity: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11

Intelligence: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Wisdom: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Hmmm...I think I'll withdraw for now. The rolls are less then savory and I do have a few other games that are interesting me at the moment. Thanks for the chance to sate my curiosity at my rolls though.

His disdain for what he views as the weak leadership of Talingrade has made him disrespectful of its laws. After all, it is only right that the strong should rule the weak. The idea that some dirt turning farmer has any equality to him is ludicrous! Unfortunately for Razul, his last duel resulted in the death of his opponent. Not expecting any type of officials to be present, he was easily seized by guards as he was collecting his winnings. Now he awaits the completion of his sentence. Delain The human Undead lord
Mechanically he's a pretty vanilla (though evil) caster cleric with an interesting flair. He'll be summoning powerful undead as he levels starting with his corpse companion. I'll make a very detailed character if I'm chosen. For examples of my work feel free to browse my aliases. ;-)
It'll be more detailed if I get chosen, but this should give you a fairly good idea as to character build.

Undead Lord (Archetype)
An undead lord is a cleric focused on using necromancy to control undead. Her flock is the walking dead and her choir the keening spirits of the damned. This unliving congregation is the manifestation of her unceasing love affair with death.
A cleric cannot take the undead lord archetype unless her deity's portfolio includes the Death domain or a similar domain that promotes undeath. An undead lord has the following class features.
Death Magic : An undead lord must select the Death domain (and the Undead subdomain, if available in the campaign). She does not gain a second domain. In all other respects, this works like and replaces the standard cleric's domain ability.
Corpse Companion (Su) : With a ritual requiring 8 hours, an undead lord can animate a single skeleton or zombie whose Hit Dice do not exceed her cleric level. This corpse companion automatically follows her commands and does not need to be controlled by her. She cannot have more than one corpse companion at a time. It does not count against the number of Hit Dice of undead controlled by other methods. She can use this ability to create a variant skeleton such as a bloody or burning skeleton, but its Hit Dice cannot exceed half her cleric level. She can dismiss her companion as a standard action, which destroys it.
Bonus Feats : All undead lords gain Command Undead as a bonus feat. In addition, at 10th level, she may select one of the following as a bonus feat: Channel Smite , Extra Channel , Improved Channel , Quick Channel , Skeleton Summoner , Undead Master .
Unlife Healer (Su) : At 8th level, the undead lord's spells, spell-like abilities, and supernatural abilities used to heal undead heal an extra 50% damage. At 16th level, these effects automatically heal the maximum possible damage for the effect + the extra 50%. This does not stack with abilities or feats such as Empower Spell or Maximize Spell .
If I'm chosen I'll make it more detailed, but essentially He's always been obsessed with death. Delain saw his sister die from plague at a young age. He sat vigil by her bedside for weeks. His father thought he was grieving, but he wasn't sad. Instead he was facinated. He would stare for hours as the life flowed out of her tiny body. He watched until the moment she went from living to dead. At that moment he was hooked. He had to know more.
He joined the church (not sure which church would be appropriate for your campaign. Could use some input on that) as a means to access their libraries and other vaults of knowledge on death. He excelled in his studies and was eventually fully indoctrinated as a full cleric, complete with a connection to the divine. Now he had magic and at that moment he realized his study has just begun.
In time he found a carriage that had been attacked on the road. There was a noblewoman with an arrow through her chest. Delain didn't know who she was, but he knew he must animate her. So he did. As it turns out she was a relative of the local lord and he took offense at having his family used in such a way.
The lord took steps and Delain found himself beaten and imprisoned. This is where our story begins.

Gah! I remembered this thread from yesterday and was going to post that I want to make a human inquisitor of Asmodeus. He would be someone who tries to get people to sign contracts and who "punishes" people who violate contracts. Guilty of heresy.

Here is the still incomplete profile for Kehl, a bladebound Magus.
Kehl was born poor and ugly, lacking in personal warmth, but strong of arm and mind. His parents called him "Trembles" for his unsteady digits, and generally twitchy demeanor. He was apprenticed to a blacksmith young, the heft of a hammer unaffected by his shaking fingers. He spent his childhood bent over a forge, and reading whenever he could find the time. When he turned 16 he fled his contract and found shelter with a distant relation--an aging and mostly unaware great uncle who had been, in his prime, a great wizard, at least in his own eyes.
Here, Kehl indulged his curiosity and intellect and learned to manipulate the arcane energies.
Maybe he opened the wrong book, maybe he botched a spell, or maybe he was just unlucky, because not long after his escape, the dreams began. Not nightly, nor vivid at first, but mornings came with a lingering dread and a strange yearning. As he grew older, the dreams grew in power. Eventually, each night saw the same images assailing him:
Kehl stands over a fallen woman, clad in expensive clothing, his hands are steeped in blood. From a gaping wound in the corpse, he draws forth a swirling black shape that coalesces into a blade, with a dark red eye embedded in the hilt. "Free me and learn my name. Wield me and know my power." it whispers to him.
Mania took him. Kehl became obsessed with the shadowy weapon that haunted his dreams. One day, wandering through Talingrade's capital, he saw a beautiful young girl, so much like the one from his nightly vision. So he followed her. He cornered her. He threw her down on the ground, raised his knife, and made ready to free his obsession from within her.
The guards that heard the woman's screams prevented him from reaching the goal he had dreamt of for so many years.
Branded a Forsaken, and sent to Branderscar, Kehl is unstable, driven, and desperate to escape and find the blade that whispers to him in his dreams

Okay, for my submission (in conjunction with Stormraven's character, an Inquisitor named Price, I think) I give you…
Cain
Survivor. Suspected Murderer of the King's Road Killings. Follower of Asmodeus. Bearer of the Cursed Mark. And Born of the Dark Blood of Fallen Angels and Mighty Dragons. And most recently convicted of the Southtown Temple Fire, abduction and murder of the temple's priest, and consorting with Dark Powers.
And in this blood ran power.. and rage. From early childhood he was willful, selfish, and strong. A born bully. The orphanage couldn't curb his temper, and at an early age he left.
People would later wonder if it was his cursed birth that made people spurn him, which in turn lead to his dark soul. Or whether he was just born to be bad. Either way, his life played out like you'd expect.
Violence. Selfishness. Thievery. Abuse. Blood… lots of blood. He was generally able to stay ahead of the law through sheer force and a will to survive, but the writing was on the wall. He had caught the attention of the Church of Mitra, and they did not abide those like Cain to live.
Until a strange woman walked into his life. She was different from the weaklings that surrounded him. She had nerves of steel, the skills to play a dangerous game, and information that would change him forever.
"You are different, Cain. Marked by blood. And Mitra has spurned you and spit you out. My master, however, can show you how to unlock the power in your veins. Come with me, do what I say, and we'll make the history books, Cain." Needless to say he went with this woman… this Inquisitor Price.
Since then, he's been her faithful friend and disciple. Their work in the name of Asmodeus has been bloody… and fun. And all along, Price has worked diligently to help him understand who he is. What he can be.
They broke into the temple of Mitra under cover of night. Cain enjoyed the brief fight with the few men there. The poor former follower of Asmodeus died before he could scream; Price could be amazingly efficient when she wanted to be. Cain was still frustrated that he couldn't' use the power in his veins to light the temple on fire, but that was what the whole night was about, right? They lit the fire the old fashioned way and grabbed some flaming artifacts for the ritual.
Price would tell him later - in their cells - that someone must have ratted them out to Sir Balin Karfield. She had been so careful in planning; there's no way he'd have found out on his own. But found them he did. With the body of a Brother of the Temple, stolen holy relics, half a dozen of Asmodeus's acolytes summoning a devil into their impromptu shrine.
That bastard Karfield's victory was a farce. He took them unaware… and he would pay for what he did. Luckily, the ritual seems to have half-worked. Since that night just a few days ago, Cain's blood has seemed alive. Sleep has come with difficulty, and fitfully. His body burned with power. Sometimes, when he focused hard enough - something he struggled with of late - his hands hardened to claws briefly. His skin hardened to scales, and he could make things happen.
It just took so much effort. But it would come.
With time… it would come. He just needed to get out of this cell before they killed him. Then he would show them all.

Not a traditional meat-shield, true, but that's what's fun. :)
I thought about switching to a Fighter/Sorc > Dragon Disciple direction, but I just really like the concept better as a barbarian, especially once I really began thinking about his background. The blood of the red dragon running through his veins would definitely push him towards an arrogant, passionate, and self-serving style.
So with all this in mind, here's what I'm shooting for, and I hope you like it. He is neutral evil. So while he is a bit thick-witted, Price has taught him that in order to attain his ultimate goals of realizing his full potential and razing the temples of Mitra, he's going to need to work with a group of like-minded and talented individuals. He's still a strong-willed, selfish, passionate guy who believes rules are for those too weak to look out for themselves, but he's willing to set aside some of his natural tendencies to destroy his enemies.

Price |

Stormraven here... delivering PRICE. She is done save for picking her domain, a possible archetype, tweaking a spell choice, and grabbing a feat. Enjoy. If she makes the cut, I'll clean up her crunchy bits and drop them under her avatar.
STATS: WIS 18, CHA 8 - the rolls/rest are shown above and in the Crunchy Bits spoiler.
CRIME: Blasphemy Trait
Price sneers at the charge of Blasphemy. She is guilty of so much more: Basphemy, Heresy, Desecration, Consorting with Dark Powers, Murder, Attempted Murder, and even Arson... What can she say? It's been an eventful week. The only crime she committed that tinges her with any sense of shame is Attempted Murder. The 'Attempted' part rankles in that it shows a disturbing lack of follow-through.
Orderly and disciplined, Price never wastes good material... and Cain was good material. There were many ways to serve Asmodeus and a hard-hitting killer with a taste for excessive violence could be very handy at the right moment. Waste not, want not, eh?
Price spent considerable time recruiting and helping Cain achieve his personal goals. Perhaps she spent more effort cultivating their relationship than she would for other assets... but that was only reasonable. She was in a dangerous line of work and dealt with many folks who were less than trustworthy. Surprise, surprise. Having someone at her back who wasn't looking for the right moment to shove in a blade was worth a bit more effort.
Trapped in a cell and sentenced to death, Price fumes and considers WHO, of the allegedly loyal followers, must have betrayed them. Price sets her priorities:
- First - Escape the cell
- Second - Escape the gaol (preferably leaving a serious body-count)
- Third - ferret out the betrayer
- Four - excessively violent and bloody vengeance
- Five - get back to business
Price is forgettable. She comes across as a generally hospitable, friendly, well-intentioned, and not particularly interesting woman. She cultivates a 'Suzy Homemaker' image to conceal the truth - that she has the heart of a Black-Tipped Reef Shark and the morals of a venture capitalist. She could happily discuss how to bake the perfect apple-pie while shoving a wagon-load of toddlers into a raging river.

Ok, so I decided on a Human Synthesist Summoner. I'll type up the full background and stats, but the basic premise is that he was caught in the act of summoning a devil by Sir Balin. As a desperate measure, he prematurely finished the ritual by binding the fiend to himself before being carted off to jail.

Guilty of:
Consorting with the Dark Powers (Witchcraft)
You have been found guilty of summoning an evil outsider. Likely you were captured by the famed witch hunter Sir Balin of Karfeld. The last thing he said to you was, “May Mitra have mercy upon your wretched, damned soul.” If only you could get a chance at revenge!
Punishment: Death by burning.
Benefit: You receive a +1 trait bonus to Knowledge (planes) and Knowledge (arcana) checks, and one of these skills (your choice) is always a class skill for you.
