About Lise the Banned

Lise was born with a problem: she was a messenger. A messenger of bad things. When she learned to talk her parents became very worried after she started saying the strangest things, even in a language they didn't understand. Lise had her good days but they didn't last long as she started to scream a lot and pick fights she'd lose. Most of her village started to ignore her when she grew up. She was very lonely and started to hate her kin. Lise would sabotage anything she could until one day it was too much: she was banned and thus renamed Lise the Banned.

It wasn't long after being exiled from her home that Lise found herself looking for shelter in some very bad weather. She entered a rather large temple of Mitra late at night and found a dark corner to sleep. Fatigued as she was she slept into the next day not noticing a large crowd of people inside the temple. Among those people were some powerful clerics of Mitra who were preparing an important ritual. Suddenly Lise started talking in her sleep about the greatness of Asmodeus and other evil deities. She did so loudly and everybody in the temple heard her speak. Unfortunately it was in the language of Evil itself and the words she spoke were recognised by one of the clerics of Mitra. The anger of the clerics nearly got her killed but the clerics knew which punishment would await the desecrater of their temple: she would be burned. Now Lise's being kept a prisoner awaiting her execution by fire.
