I get to the airport at 4:30 Wednesday for my 6:30 flight.
United tries to get by cheap and puts just enough gas in the jet to make it to destination. They screw up, have to turn around once they make it to the strip, and then take 2.5 hours to fuel up again and take off.
The plane lands at 8:30 (this is the plane coming to where I am). They swear they will have us out of there in 10 minutes.
At 9:15 we take off. We land at 10:45. My connecting flight is at 10:55, and is in another terminal. I run to the train that connects terminals. I get to the gate at 10:58. They didn't hold my plane, it's against policy.
It takes me 45 minutes of arguing with them but they won't give me a hotel, because it was the weather, not them putting too little fuel or refusing ot hold my flight for 3 minutes. BS.
I get to the hotel about 1:30 (actually in the hotel room that is). I'm so afraid I'll sleep through the alarm at this point, that I can't sleep. So I spend 4 hours resting on the bed watching tv before going back to the airport for a 7:25 flight.
The 7:25 flight leaves the gate at 7:45. We take off at 8:30. I get to my airport at 9:20. It then takes me another hour to get my luggage (they got it on the plane that took off without me the night before!), and finally get my car and head off home. I run into traffic, and it's 11:30 by the time I actually get into my house.
I then promptly fall asleep in front of the computer trying to work after having had no sleep for 36 hours.
So yeah, sorry for not posting yesterday. I'll get posts up today sometime.

Ugh. Plane travel. It's become an unpleasant and frustrating experience even when everything goes perfectly. Throw in delays, airline pig-headedness, and grr.
I'm to the point that most of the time if I can drive it in two days, I'll do that rather than fly.

No problem, I've been travelling a lot last two weeks, so pause is fine.

Posting this in all my games, both run and played in.
As you all know, I've been rather busy and traveling a lot lately. This is going to continue for awhile. Hopefully I'll be able to keep up the posts. It's now confirmed I'll be going on an overseas job for 6 weeks at the end of August, coming back early October. I will hopefully be able to continue posting, but wanted to give advance warning.
I'll be 11 or 12 hours off my normal schedule, as I'm going literally to the other side of the planet. :) First trip to this area, so I'm not sure what the internet will be like, or even if I can get to Paizo. So if, after I leave, I vanish for a month, please don't give up on me, it just means I couldn't connect due to country filters or something.

I'll be out for most of the remainder of the day and tomorrow as well, competing in a tournament. If I'm lucky I can compete on sunday as well, so if I'm playing/DM-ing your campaign, you know why.
If I'm playing in your campaign feel free to bot me.

Hey guys -- sorry, I've been away because of the move (starting July 28). I'm arrived, and mostly unpacked, although there's still the end of the unpacking to do, plus moving in to my office at my new job. I'm pretty wiped out from all of it, but I'm starting to catch up in my games now.
Tychi
Tychi is built to be a massive damage dealer. Sohei Crit builds are scary.

...so, this Ooze that just slid into the tunnel...it's a bit modified!!! I have applied the funky new Slithering Ooze template from Green Ronin's 'hot off the presses' Advanced Bestiary...
Let's see how it goes... It's only CR+1 so shouldn't be too much change... Unless you would like me to apply the 'Instrument of the Gods' template.... CR+6 !!!!
Tychi
I thought sure it said 16.
Oh well, Tychi bursts into flames and dies.
Tychi
Tychi get's knocked out of the saddle by the column of water, slammed into the wall, and flash steam cooked by the steam coming off the magma creature.
Figwidget
Interestingly, I picked up the Decanter of Endless Water at character creation so that I wouldn't have to explain why Figwidget never carried any water supplies with him. Always fun when something that wasn't supposed to be a combat item ends up useful in combat....

GM: questions:
First, Figwidget doesn't have the "Craft Weapon" skill, but he does have the "Craft Magic Arms and Armor" feat, which he uses with Spellcraft as per the magic item creation rules. Would he be able to repair Tychi's sword with this skill? Of course, as per the magic item repairing rules, it would require half of the cost to create the item, and half the time, so it's still quite an involved process.... A "Make Whole" spell would be a lot faster!
Second, Fidgwidget's an Alkenstar resident. Does he know if the Shieldmarshals and the Guild of Brass are still at odds? (Or is this something that we came across early in this campaign and that we should remember...?)
GM Zed
No-one wants Tychi stuck in the mines with a blade that could shatter at any time...well maybe there are some ogres who wouldn't mind so much!!! But, in the interest of fun...I am happy for you to use your 'Craft Magic Arms and Armour' feat...the amount of time it takes may influence what happens next though....
You should have picked up on a degree of antipathy between the Shieldmarshalls and The Guild of Brass - think Detroit Police and OCP in Robocop!!! But, as an ex-Marshall, Major Luke Rand should be best positioned to let Shylar know what is going on...
...Also, feel free to make up stories, rumours, etc from Alkenstar...

Actually, it's a magic sword, it has to be repaired with the 'craft magic arms and armor' feat. It costs us gold to do so though, if we can find the reagents down here to do so. Alternately, make whole would do it.
Repairing Magic Items
Repairing a magic item requires material components equal to half the cost to create the item, and requires half the time. The make whole spell can also repair a damaged (or even a destroyed) magic items—if the caster is high enough level.
