Me neither; it's hard to find a group playing nice things around here. Most of the events they hold are D&D Encounters and such, and these have too much focus on the grind, and too little on the roleplay (the good one, with space for inventiveness and creative solutions).
I am having lots of fun as well. Sometimes my characters are tough to deal with, but l think we all create tension to add to the fun :) One thing I will not do, and that goes in OOC, of course, is fight other PCs. If Rattus goes berserk I will try to subdue him (not kill), otherwise I will keep roleplaying. Now, my character plan for the bear is not limited to the bear (in the DM's word "if someone's character dies, he makes another character and carries on"), so if it does happen that it gets killed by any of the PCs, I won't be resentful, and I will carry on with the plan :D
Another thing that the characters should bear in mind is that they are arguing with a bear O.O (a speaking bear, but a bear nonetheless). That does not even make sense in the first place... Besides, do you think a bear has the need to be right? ;)
I am glad we are all having a good time, and that the DM thinks so highly of the gameplay :)

Rattus Rattus |

Haha, that's true the bear would more than likely have no idea of what we're speaking of and obviously doesn't lol. I feel like Rattus would not have thought of that anyway, he would have rattled on regardless.
He definitely doesn't want more conflict as the Creator has come up. I want to have Rattus be like a conduit for his creators spirit when situations get really interesting. He's always lingering and watching as long as the gun is nearby. Only in extreme cases will he take control over Rattus like he sorta did with the wolf encounter.
His (the Creator's) penchant for learning cost him his life but with dying he attached to the gun which Rattus was always fond of now the attachment seems to have freon stronger

I suggest the crypt. In Portuguese, the title translates into "The Crypt of the Vampire," and the cover illustration does suggest that the count is in a basement of sorts, so we might as well give it a try, no? :)

So far I am fine with anything. We have to keep looking for the count anyways. The next character for the next adventure will have divination spells ;)
I think there is not much to regret here, we seem pretty capable of turning failures into fun, so even if my character gets the shorter end of the stick, I will still have a good time.

yeah..even worse, this guy showed up selling Curby Vaccum Cleaners door to door. He offered to clean our house for free. Well my wife thinks that's a great idea. 4 HOURS LATER HE FINALY LEAVES. no kidding it's 9pm here and he just left like 2 minutes ago.
ppthhhhhh.

You know I run into this problem where pbp games bog down during exploration because no one wants to step on anyone else and everyone is sort of afraid of taking charge. Maybe we should desingate a sort of 'leader'. That character kind of takes charge picking what doors to open and stuff...other players are assumed to be okay with the choices unless they post otherwise. I wonder if that would work to speed things up? Or maybe everyone is happy with the pace. I'm fine either way. My job is to make sure everyone has fun.

GM: Dave the Dwarf |

Id take leader but im runing 2 high post volume games that take most of my posting time.
I think rattus or Bear post the most one of them should be leader.
Also i want to say i love the comedy in the oocs sometime. I am in one game thats so damn serious its anoying.
Maybe we can keep this group together after this adventure is over and play some more.

I agree (with all that). I would vote for Antoni for the leader, or Rattus (or Gruk Gruk). I could lead, but I don't know if it makes much sense for a bear to care that much.
When I am on the table, sometimes the ooc just goes crazy and we all have a blast. Like this time I said, by accident, "I am a cleric of a divine deity" instead of "I am a cleric of a good deity" and the DM instantly envisioned the "divine deity" as a "Priscilla queen of the desert" with divine rank. It was D&D, so we then proceeded to create domain spells for that deity, which included, e.g., "Cure Diet Wounds" instead of "Cure Light Wounds".
I am in for keeping the group; I think we are all having a good time without stress to cause huge deals of damage, or get a lot of gold or XP. I am really happy that my main concern when creating my character was not trying to maximize its damage output.
We can get out hands into other books for more crazy characters, like Citadel of Chaos and Daggers of Darkness (my friend had this one, and it was... tough). At any rate, we have a Count to deal with first!
I also liked what Grim said, about the portal. It made me actually want to go back to the trap after we get rid of the Count just to see whether we can actually open that portal and cross to the other side.

Rattus Rattus |

I don't mind leading, Rattus does need to be hit in the head though for him to realize that he's in charge though lol.
I totally agree with keeping this group after for some more games, that'd be sweet bees!
I like these campaign settings too, I've only played my own home brew games or friends.
Also I know about those vacuum cleaners too... They're so expensive and the salesmen are so persistent that's pretty intense that that guy took that much time to pitch that vacuum cleaner. I'm sure the commission on one of those things is worth the work but I feel like they work for a giant vacuum cleaner scam artist company that just tricks then into using crazy sales tactics and to never take no for an answer lol

dm night-shade |

ha, yeah, i was a afraid the vaccum cleaner guy was actually just getting access to my house to see whether or not there is enough treasure in here to warrant coming back to steal everything!! If so i'm sure he was disappointed.

Rattus Rattus |

Hah! That's Kind of how I felt. They went to every room which was more of a mess than a vacuum regardless of its price could attend to.
Waiting to buy new shoes for work, got to the store too early... This is what a slightly possessed Alchemically made Ratfolk werewolf does on a Sunday morning...

I'm fairly lucky. We have a large board game group and we're slowly growing our pathfinder group. We recently finished a small power campaign and I passed the gm reigns to another we started his today with a new girl.
Used to be magic nights mostly and weekly pathfinder now we've got more games than we can play in a week so I'm not complaining ;)

Golard |

Lol I'm a very rules guy when it comes to mtg recently though I've stopped playing it at FNMs and just been playing more casually every now and again :p been trying to get my friends into the commander format for all dat juicy multiplayer goodness
Do y'all play any board games?
Or anything else tabletop?
