Excellent job so far guys. The AP calls for 3 diplo checks but with that 41 I am calling that 2 successes. Thus the reason you only have 2-3 against you right now. Another diplo or other skill check that makes sense will work to further your cause. Other skills can be up to you as long as you make sense of it. Each of you can attempt a skill check of your choice to aid 1 person for the final check.
This way all can join in the last attempt to help out and rp a bit.
Thus someone could do knowledge to identify enemies, another could try to intimidate those against you, a third could do diplomacy etc. Just need to know who is aiding and who is making the official check.

@Manos, I am just grateful for your patience. Our pacing slowed greatly just as you came on board. I see great things possible if we can coordinate the efforts of Manos and Duardlara. She’s not proud - if you have ideas about how to maximize our effectiveness, sing out. She only cares about surviving, not who gets the glory.

No worries, Variel, I wasn’t complaining, just stating facts. We’ve had some turnover and holidays and all the normal things that can put a PbP on pause. I really haven’t thought your rate was lacking any more than mine.

Playing off of Helgash's offer, do I know of any situations that require a commando type team or extra firepower to deal with? If things seem to stall I could suggest such an endeavor, with my assistance of course.

Hey everyone. I know I asked you a long ways back to give me your wealth on your character as well as a request for a particular item that you may want. Please realize that this campaign is designed to be way under the wbl guidelines (almost 2 levels behind by my calculation s at parts). Still I know that a lot of the fun is in gaining wealth and outfitting a character. Therefore this is the chance to gain that item(s) that normally wouldn't exist in a traditional reward setting. Please let me know what your wealth is via pm. I know as well that you are sitting on some expensive items that can be sold for almost 30k gp so I will take that into account as well.
Please have fun with this. Dig through the books and find some things that
1) appeals to you,
2) is not overpowering (nothing over +3 enhancement for armor or +2 for weapons)
Thanks again

Thanks for the reminder. I am curious what my fellow players have in mind. I will have to work on the WBL when I return to my computer.

That being said, some ideas in no particular order (maybe some of them can just be bought without any special request):
- Ring of Regeneration (Yeah I know... Still had to put it down), though...
- Boots of the Earth?
- Bracers of the Merciful Knight
- Ornament of Healing Light
- Phylactery of Positive Channeling
- A weapon along the lines of Inheritor's Light (perhaps +2 :P)?
- Wand of Cure Light Wounds! (or CMW? :D)

The total value of Cynehelm's gear and wealth is 33,986, or about half Wealth-by-Level.
I'd like the following:
*Greater elemental metamagic rod (24,500 gp)
*Headband of Inspired Wisdom +6 (18,000 gp)

I was not sure if we are limited to weaponry and armor. For a weapon, a non-composite enchanted bow (since my strength has fallen too low to use a composite properly). Armor, there's lots of possibilities.
But if we are looking at non-combat items, there are interesting rods, but most interesting would be belts to offset my physical limitations with my premature aging.
More details to come, I'm borrowing a machine and don't have access to the one with my character sheet on it.

The Cookbook is half of the value of my gear. Without it, my total is about 2/3 of Cynehelm's. With it, my wealth look healthy.
However, considering the benefit we are getting from it (a single metamagic use each day), I would be happy to return it to the party's kitty for resale in hopes that I might be able to pick up a metamagic rod for a fraction of the cost and three times the utility. It would be much more useful for someone that can cast highest-level spells, but I will never have that option.
The value of the Cookbook is 21,500 gp, for purposes of determining party wealth-for-sale.
It appears that the price range for requests is around 8000 gp - 9000 gp based on the examples given. My preferred item would be a Belt of Physical Might +2 to augment my Dexterity and my Constitution since my aging has dropped those two save-related abilities.
However, assuming that is too pricey, my next preference would be a +1 energy longbow, replacing my existing masterwork composite longbow. (The energy special property chosen would depend on our hosts' recommendations for the battle ahead.)
For purchases, I am very interested in finding out what lesser metamagic rods are available.

To confirm, after speaking to Variel, the cookbook is for sale. I will remove it from my sheet shortly.
Duardlara Frostborn
Lara, I think we had discussed this before - you (or another caster) should keep the cookbook, but I don't think it should be accounted for as your character wealth, at least as far as the group goes (WBL is up to Variel).
Also... Selling such item is just.... Uncool. Don't you think? :D
If it's not part of my wealth, then I have the wealth of a seventh-level character. Mechanically for an effective half-caster like myself, I feel it's an inferior choice, especially considering I can purchase multiple metamagic rods for the same cost.
I do agree that selling it seems uncool; that's why I clung to it. That and we really didn't have a chance to improve the situation.

Guys, I wanted to let you in on my upcoming schedule and some changes which will most likely impact my availability in game.
From the 3rd June I am starting a new job, and one with more responsibility than my latest ones - next week I will be starting the handover (Mon-Wed) in the mornings. This shouldn't impact my gaming much, but when work starts it most definitely will (I am hoping to get myself organized to post once in the am, and once in the evening, as even though I will most likely still have a PC in front of me most of the day, I am not sure how available I will be to post. And I want to focus strongly on this job opportunity).
Then, from the 15th June I have three (or four) weeks of vacations - WOHOOOOO!!!! So there's that also :D
Bottom line, from the next week until the... 15th of July or something along those lines, this will be a bumpy ride. I will keep you up to date on whether I will be able to keep up, etc. I'm not leaving though ;)
Duardlara Frostborn
Congratulations on the new opportunity, Helgash! Let us know what we need to know to bot the mechanics as necessary, but no one's going to steal your thunder on the rp, I assure you.
Cynehelm of Orlov
I've been overwhelmed with RL. My wife fell last week and actually fractured two vertebrae. I'm effectively an only parent to two little kids just now. Please play on through without me. I'll rejoin soon.
Duardlara Frostborn
Oh, no! All the best for you and your wife. The kids can be surprisingly resilient with change, they will be fine.
Botting should be easy, right? "Cynehelm has prepared four variations on fireball today. Again. So I cast Fireball!"
Seriously, take care of you, we will be here when RL allows your return.

Forgot about my temp hit points, adjusted HP based on the other 15 Temp HP I had.
