Sorry for not posting last night. Fell asleep with the laptop in my hands. When I woke up in the middle of the night I figured it best to retire to my bed. Anyway, first post in the valley is up. Hope eveyone gets something going soon. I'm so excited to see what we find here.

Hey GM Blood, on your googledocs battle maps I see you have little dotted colored lines next to each pc token in the roster. Do you use them to show the path of movement or something?

Grimmy, are you cool with me making a knowledge check in gameplay to try and figure out these skeletons' weakness? Since I took undead as my favored enemy, I can make the skill check untrained. Just wondering if that's okay for me to do unprovoked my anything in particular. While Jeb's not a genius, he still tries to use his head in battle when he can.
Oh yeah man of course. I was actually just about to post some monster lore spoilered with a DC but you guys can always attempt such checks without prompting.

I'm ready to go for round 2. Just waiting and hoping that the brothers drop one or both of the skeletons before they can close the doors.
If the skeleys get the doors closed (which I guess they will) I have to read up on channel energy and whether it's blocked by thick walls?
Hmm, it just says 30' radius burst so I guess it's subject to normal line of effect rules like anything else, right?

Nah. I was on a step-stool and it broke apart while I was on it. Got X-Rays and everything. Nothing serious, I'm just not used to taking muscle relaxers or high strength pain killers. Doc said my back will stop hurting in a week or two.
Yikes! Glad it wasn't too serious.
FYI, guys... Tarv has PM's disabled and I haven't heard from him in two weeks now. I had the frogs swallow him and take him to a slime pit. This way, if we hear from him and there were some extenuating circumstances for his absence, his PC will be recoverable if he wants to recommit.
In the meantime I will tentatively open recruitment, but to be honest you guys have proved very effective in combat and there is no real niche you don't have covered as far as I can see.
What do you think?

I think we're a little lacking in Arcane. No offense, Lucia, but I don't consider AT a fully focused caster. I've always seen them as an augmented Rogue type. But I'm cool if we don't go for that. I'm amiable to whatever. I'm still having tons of fun with our group. As long as we get some positive story out of another person, I'm game.

Grimmy, couple of questions. First, would the dias in the center of the shrine give the red and maroon skeletons soft cover or full cover?
Secondly, is there any telling if the explosion that just happened is done, or will it happen again if I walk into the shrine?
The dias has a big statue on it. It provides cover (depending on positioning of course).
Soft cover is from creatures (including allies), it's the same AC bonus as cover (+4) it just doesn't give a bonus to reflex saves or allow you to make stealth checks.
The explosion came from a glyph of warding (blast) trap.
Priscilla had spotted a glyph back in
Round 1 and was considering scratching it out, but called Lucia in to cast read magic and use the spellcraft check to find out more about it before she made the attempt.
That particular glyph is gone now but there may be others mixed in with the graffiti.
Any high-perception character is capable of spotting them, rogues are capable of disabling them, and arcane characters are capable of deciphering them with spellcraft in conjunction with read magic.
