Personalities:
Chieftain Zamoth - A Large Blue Winged Kobold in White Robes wearing a finely crafted greatsword. Zamoth is the one who speaks directly with the Luminous One the most. He has managed to avoid enraging the great master for longer than most. For this he is both respected and hated. No-one dare strike out against him both because he is know as a great warrior and because he is favoured by the Lord.
Fetin the Drawn – A wrinkeled old senile kobold who tells the tribe that he was in his teenage years when the Son of Chronepsis first arrived. Originally gold in colouring his scales have lightened with age to make him seem more white or grey when not in direct sunlight. Fetin claims to have understanding of everything, and puts forth his opinion if it's wanted or not.
Chieftain Zamoth stood on the cut bolder at the centre of the cavern, having detailed the plan in a loud booming voice he awaited the inevitable response. Before he even begun a skirmish had broken out between a group of warriors and a group of hunters, though it stopped instantly at the first mention of the lord. Arguments were inevitable. Injuries and even deaths inevitable. But they would come to a conclusion and heroes would be chosen. Behind Zamoth and to his left stood Fetin, leaning awkwardly on his crooked staff. It was a wonder how he managed to climb onto the plateau of the bolder, but there he was cramping the chieftain and outputting unnecessary advice. Kobold engineering of the cavern was of such great skill that even Fetin's old wizen voice could reach every last one of the thousand or so kobolds around him. This was done without sacrificing the natural beauty of the rock formations therein. With Zamoth and Fetin on the makeshift stage there was room for one maybe 2 more kobolds and the other elders and self appointed wise kobolds assembled around the base as closely as they could, their own families doing what they could to protect them from the pressing crowd.
Hoping to by pass the bulk of the contesting, Chief Zamoth called out one last question
“Who then will step forward for this task and gain the favour of our beloved master?”
The hope, of course was in vain. Instantly many of the warriors surged forth yelling and shouting “Me”, “I will do it”, “For the master” and other such enthusiastic terms. The pressure caused the elderly in front to be pushed painfully against the base of the boulder prompting their younger kin to hiss and lash out at those behind them. From within the crowd a female voice called
”Why do you not go, if you are so great and chosen of our Lord” the thought bought a momentary peace and all eyes turned to Zamoth. The implied offence was obvious to the Chieftain but he would not have achieved his position of power without a measure of wit.
”My place is here serving and protecting the Luminous One”
The response gained a questionable acceptance from the assembly and silence prevailed for a second as questions came to the minds of those who would debate.
Here is your place to ask questions and have a bit of free-form roleplay fun. You can play as a random kobold in the crowd or your own character. You can ask questions about the blue dragon that is your lord, the larger world, the plan itself. There is also the topic of provisions and the beast of burden to carry them to be discussed here.
Play and have fun. Until I stop taking applications, none of what is said here will be judged on (within reason), so don't feel any pressure.

Grigg the scarlet shamed |

Grigg hovers at the edges of the crowd, his eyes half shut, there was no need for the swarming of the stage, the great one would not enjoy blind heroics-or at least grigg hoped so.loosing his tongue,he erupted in a hushed prayer to the great winged one.
"my lord,if this be my calling, speak to me,so that I may follow your will, till my soul be reclaimed in your favour.I beg of you great one, reveal to me your plans while I stand here yet.so that I may indeed be your messenger to the unbelievers.May your great name be praised."

Dragoor the Proud |

A hiss would reverberate down from above as violet eyes searched the crowd for the one foolish enough to make jest of the chieftain, representative of The Luminous One. While Dragoor was known for taunting those he saw below him, which were most in his case, he respected the chain of authority with a zeal many spoke of being on the edge of insanity.
Thusly, even now, his hands wrenched the reins of his saddle while he knocked portions of the stalactites around him free from their precarious positions with the thumper attached to his tail.
"Sssomeone wissshesss to die~" he would hiss through clenched teeth.

Grigg the scarlet shamed |

A stalactite crashes beside grigg it jolts him from his religious stupor.Grigg falls quiet for a moment, then continues in prayer
"oh great winged one.If that was your sign,I beseech you to send a clearer one.perhaps one with a decreased likelihood of death."

GM Larkin |

@Grigg - Luemoth like any other dragon with kobold worshipers does not care for most of their prayers and worship.
A dark green youngling hears Grigg's prayers ans whispers out the side of his mouth
"Yes! Fight and die to show your love for me!"
A group of kobolds in the general direction of the desenter squeek and cower from Dragoor.

Dragoor the Proud |

Dragoor would flash a smile full of sharp white teeth as the sound of cowering makes it's way up to him. Perhaps he would not have to scan the entire crowd after all. With eyes adapt at seeing in the dark, Dragoor would scan over the small group looking for any further opposition.
"Which of you daresss ssspeak out againssst our chief?" he would hiss at the group.
As he speaks, Dragoor kicks his heels into the sides of his gecko mount to set it into motion.

Grigg the scarlet shamed |

Grigg turns to the kobold and hisses the green youngling.
"do not take me for a fool whelp.our lord has spoken to me and I know he does not sound like a pathetic weakling."

Dragoor the Proud |

Dragoor's smile would grow as he watches his fellow kobolds scatter in front of him. While he normally stood above most of his kin as it was, he towered over them while riding upon the back of his giant gecko.
Upon reaching the spot where the kobold perpetrator had been, Dragoor would bring his mount to a stop and return his attention to the chieftain while his giant gecko snapped at any kobold foolish enough to get too close.
Dragoor would crack his thumper hard against the ground while shouting in a proud voice, "It would be my honor to ssserve the Luminousss One in thisss matter if he ssso wissshesss it!"

Grigg the scarlet shamed |

Grigg pulls the hood of his cloak over his head and pushes through the crowd to front, upon reaching the front of the crowd, grigg gets down on knee, unaffected by the giant gecko and it's rider.he proclains
"I will shoulder the task of our lord."
would apsu take up a fancy for a kobold or is he just as apathetic as Luemoth?

![]() |

"Still slurring your s's like a throwback, Dragoor?" An older kobold asks, clawed hand delving into a pouch on his belt. "A pity." He turns to face the chief. "A wizard' spells might prove.. beneficial. I lend my magic to the Luminous One's aid." Not that he cared about aiding anyone, as long as his magic could be tested on something other then sniveling apprentices.

Neemer Kresh |

Neemer Kresh stays near Dragoor, but not within arm's reach - his brother could really see red when his blood was up. He glances around at all the other kobolds making a fuss, and holds his tongue for now. His time to prove himself will come, and he will be brought along without having to raise his voice.
Neemer Kresh hates raising his voice.

GM Larkin |

The crowd is filled with the noise of kobolds calling out to set out on this quest for the benefit of their lord. Small fights began to break out between the kobolds at the front and those immediately behind and everyone surged forward once again. Zamoth Raised his hands to return a level of order to the proceeding but before he could open his mouth another voice issued forth. A voice much louder and deeper than any kobold could make.
“SILENCE FOOLS! I CANNOT HEAR MYSELF THINK WITH ALL OF YOUR BICKERING”
For a while there was indeed silence, then some particularly dim witted kobold shouted
”Yes oh Lord!”
This was followed by chorus of
”We love you!”

Grigg the scarlet shamed |

Grigg maintains his position but lifts his head as attempts to pin the origin of the noise. He dusts and straightens his cloak where he thinks dirt is,in a vain attempt to look presentable among the thousands other present before the great winged one.

Dragoor the Proud |

Dragoor would glare daggers at Yraalik, however he would not get the chance to speak out against the annoying kobold before The Luminous One's voice bellowed through the cavern. As his ears became filled with the words of his lord, Dragoor would bow his head in reverence and await further command.
While Dragoor resigned himself to silence, some of his brethren decided to take up shouting their adoration for the Son of Chronepsis. Without saying a word, Dragoor would turn his gecko about in a swift action and look for the perpetrators. Hatred clear in his eyes.

Neemer Kresh |

Neemer unslings his masterwork crossbow and levels it at the cheering kobolds. The crowd between him and the overenthusiastic ones clears, opening a wide path for his crossbow bolt to fly through if he pulls the trigger.
Wordlessly, once the crowd moving away from the weapon gets the attention of the worshipers, Neemer will hold one finger to his lips in a "shush" gesture.
Intimidate-Cha+Class skill+4 skill ranks+Stern Gaze: 1d20 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 + 3 + 4 + 2 = 30

Grigg the scarlet shamed |

grigg raises a scaly eyebrow to the bolt of neemer's crossbow. He whispers, almost like a mantra.
"much can be done without the use of claw or maw,bow or blade, yet some of us drink the bitter poison that is violence, much like the water that flows from springs above."

Neemer Kresh |

Without taking his stern gaze off of the rambunctious kobold cheerers, Neemer calmly replies, "I'd rather drink of the waters from surface springs than taste of Luemoth's wrath, Grigg. These fools risk the retribution of the Luminous One. I threaten them for their own good."

Grigg the scarlet shamed |

Grigg chuckles as he considers the kobold's words.
"indeed then it is terrifying that there is reason to the madness.I did not know I was that well known brother....."
Grigg trails off, give time for the kolbold to introduce himself.all the while grigg keeps his voice low, trying not the defile the concentration of the great one.

![]() |
There is one already up yet away from the rest. Weak he is but strong of mind and sliver of tongue. He listens and keeps so still that most would have failed to notice him if not for the colour of his scales. Blue as blue as the lord himself but no he stays silent and as best hidden as he can for He doesn't not want to be told to Scram........
He knows the great one as noticed him. He knows that most already would have but ignores him for that is his among his greatest skill yet. Being noticed yet ignored, put out of mind and never bothered with and even then he could always count on his wits and his ability to speak shine into the very dirt being shoveled.
His lord required service and Scram was anything but here to serve to the best of his sklls. Dying was not part of his long term plans afterall. Learning from the longshanks and their habits was interesting and useful.

Billybrainpan |

A large dog-lige creature lounges near the back of the room. A deep voice can be heard over the crowd when Zamoth asks for volunteers. I, Meerko the Untamed will go forth in the name of The Luminous one. His deep booming laughter can be heard throughout the cavern as Dragoor and his mount terrify the crowd, but he goes immediately silent when Leumoth speaks.

Grigg the scarlet shamed |

Grigg reaches into his cloak, and pulls out a battered chalice, tips it's contents on the ground which summons a cloud of dense smoke. It clears and two Griggs sit inside, both bowing their heads in service to the great one.
"I bring the skills of smoke and mirrors."
Grigg cast obscuring mist, faking it as an alchemical item (hidden cleric) and then uses copycat(Trickery domain)

![]() |

Taking a bit of material from his spell pouch, and the bit of fleece twisted in his clawed hand turns to ash as he chants a spell under his breath to prove what he can add. The spell finishes and lightning dances around the air above the kobolds, arcing from Yraalik's hand.
"I am one of the smartest kobolds here! My magic can make things appear out of nothing or disappear into it! I offer me mind to the Luminous One's cause."
Silent Image.

Dragoor the Proud |

Dragoor would bow his head as he contemplates the words of Zamoth and Fetin.
What could he bring to the table that the others could not? What could he offer that their leaders had not already considered
Not knowing what to say, he would turn his head to his brother. He was always the smarter of the two. A fact he had beaten into Dragoor's head in their childhood.

Neemer Kresh |

Larkin, how cut-throat is this kobold tribe's culture? Is the random murdering of your fellow kobolds occasionally allowed? I'm considering telling Dragoor to make like an orc and just stab whomever is actually in the spotlight, to steal the spotlight himself.

Grigg the scarlet shamed |

my bad,didn't remember the plan
Grigg dismisses the double and straighthens himself to his full height.
"I heal the wounded and am sharp with the senses.I provide quick escape with my trickery and illusions.I might not be the most outstandingly strongest or quickest of our lord but my wisdom will balance my weakness.I wish to undertake this great task to see for myself if what whispers I have been hearing are true.this being-asmodeus,has called me to serve him though this yet contradicts our lord's will.He claims that there is more beyond, beyond our lord, our task, our existence."
grigg falls back down to his knees with his head down, expecting the dragon himself to appear and smite him for this heresy.

Dragoor the Proud |

Too caught up in the moment, Dragoor fails to comprehend Grigg's words.
Instead, upon hearing the others speak up about what they can accomplish, Dragoor puffs up his chest and joins in, "I offer my unparalleled strength and speed. Our enemies shall submit before me and I can provide a swift means of communication."

Clashing Boom-Boom |

A green kobold, arrives "fashionably late" to the gathering, swaggering in with heavy clomping boots and a jangle of metal. "I will serve Luminous One, serve good, yes?" The poor thing had spent so long out of the kobold warrens of his people that his Draconic was rather stilted and... peculiar. At least that's what some theorize, others think he's probably just stupid, or insane. Perhaps it's a mixture of all three, but no one's really sure. "I bring the 'clicks' and the 'booms' to help. Live long amongst humans, know their ways, they respect Clashing Boom-Boom." Nodding self assuredly, the kobold struts across the room, pushing his usually larger fellows out of his way until reaching the center of the room. Then, not shouting, for even he heard the bellowing dragon from earlier before his arrival, but in a loud voice he proclaims now in Common.
"Alright ye scurvy dogs! Cap'n Luminous One wants the booty, an' I be the first on board to see this happen! We're gonna make those salty bootlickin', no good humans see why we children o' dragons be their betters! We're gonna make those hairy beyond reason stompy little dwarves see past those fat ugly eyebrows of theirs! We're gonna show all those knife-ears that there's still someone out there that be bigger, older, and wiser than they! ...And we're gonna make fun of those halflings for their stupid feet and kick a few gnomes out on the way! And we're gonna do it by taking that Tiefling by the horns and kicking the snot out of his armies and show 'em how fiercely the heart of a dragon can beat! Who's ready to go serve the dragon lord, and who's with me!?" Drawing an extra well polished and shiny rapier he raises it into the air with the last statement. Then, to translate for those who don't understand common. "Follow the 'clicks' and the 'booms'! Be very mean to Tiefling army, very bad! Then those other people will respect us, very good, very nice, get lots of shiny for Luminous One."

Cronax |

"I bring discipline an' strength. Somethin' these worms are lackin'." snarls Kax the Fiery. Smoke billows from his jaws as he speaks. "They waste the master's time on stupid contraptions an' foreign magics. Onlys I follow true path o' the dragon. Oh, and onlys I fireproof for when those demons come callin!"
