Trail of Mountain Buckle

Game Master Cody Neale

The land of Mountain Buckle and Republic of Tritan is an expanding empire waiting for heroes, foes, and vigilantes to duke it out.

Male Human Gunslinger 1

Hey ther fellow adventuries and lassies. My names Roland and I'll be joining you in your campaign. I'm stoutly built at a twenty point buy as RAW in the pathinder adventure books. No eastern play will be found here as of now. Looking forward to meeting you all!!

20 point buy
No eastern classes or equipment

Here's the most current census! Take a look!
Tritan is a republic, where freedom and democracy rule. Its ruler or spokesperson is Grand Chancellor Siditine. He has been fair in his rule for the short time Tritan has been a republic. The first leader of Tritan, however, was the Militant leader was George Marious. He promised to step down after the Republic had won its statehood but was slain in the final battle in Lennysburg. Once that was over, the Senate decided to elect a Grand Chancellor who promised to unite the states, to bring order and balance.
Brownsville was the first town to be founded and settled in Mountain Buckle. Mt. Brown, standing at a staggering 20,000 ft can be seen out at sea before any of the main coasts. Being founded by people searching for freedom and prosperity, the city of Brownsville is a place where individuality and hard work are encouraged as a way of life. The more dominative humans are not as prominent in the city of Brownsville. Instead, the lesser folk, Dwarves, Halflings, and the seldom wanted half elves, manage to thrive. Census; 30% Dwarf, 25% Halfling, 15% Human, 25% Half-Elf, 5% Elf
NPCs: Barney D. Rumble: Dwarf, wife is Betty, Senator and Mayor of Brownsville. Mole Tommison: awkward child kicking around a squirrel skinned ball Sylvestor Kovak: diehard union pusher, will do anything for the people. Adam K. Rockefeller: ruthless business man who will do anything for the right price.
Homerland, the seat of the Senate, Tritan’s capital, and is the world’s first bastion of freedom. Homerland was setup as the states’ capital due to its central location on the coast. The city square based on ancient Volian architecture is a marvel in terms of social and artistic fields. The rest of the city however, is quite modernized. With new living areas, bazaar, militant garrison, and fortifications, the city is the most formidable and respectable in the known world. Census; 65% Human, 20% Elven, 10% Halfling, 5% Dwarf, 5% Half-Elf. NPCs: Grand Chancellor Siditine: Ruler of Senate and Tritan. Jean Leauc Worf: critical citizen believes in the ideals of Tritan. Tiberious Checkov: revolutionary and will fight for the ideals of Tritan. Percy P. Percival: Senator of Homerland and ominous fellow.
Bay St. Carl was once a Kador spice and slave center, it was taken by the Tritan revolutionaries as the first military campaign of the war. Now one of the most valuable areas in all of Mountain Buckle, it provides much of the resources for the people of Tritan. Census; 45% Human, 35% Elf, 10% Half-Elf, 5% Dwarf, 5% Halfling NPCs: Linus and Mark: explorers, best of friends, Linus is an Elf and Mark a Dwarf, always in their favorite. Long John Sanders: An often misunderstood benevolent hood of the sea. Jack B. McDonald: Halfling captain extraordinaire scourge of all seadogs. Minnie Bunny: First female senator of Tritan and a Traditionalist.
Silver Orchard, town of the twin river, changing climates force the Buckle River to alternate flowing direction twice each year. This makes Silver Orchard the perfect supplier of lumber from the Nibleheim Forest to Homerland. The lake and forest also offer terrific game. The area is also considered a top of the line getaway. Beauty appreciating Elves and well-off Halflings take advantage of the natural serenity. Census; 20% Human, 30% Elf, 25% Halfling, 15% Half-Elf, 5% Dwarf. NPCs; Sig Mandrill: Off time inventor on time farmhand Axel Whalin: Professional lumberjack distrustful to strangers and trees. Alia Eagle: widower of her husband Storm and open armed lady. Waldin W. Pecker: Hedonist and Senator, lover of the finer things.
Lennysburg, the silver of the south, this city was the last to fall from Kador rule. The spoils, resources, and accommodations made sure that the winning Tritan militia could set up shop, so to speak. Now a bustling trade town that rivals Bay St. Carl, it is the only place in all of Mountain Buckle where you can literally get whatever you want regardless of rarity or morality. Census; 45% Elves, 20% Humans, 20% Halfling, 10% Half-Elves, 5% Dwarf. NPCs: Huck Clemmins: a lone youth looking for adventure. Hester Pearl: single mother and holy woman. Albus Camazotz: opportunist and morally depraved wizard. Dick Mutley: Despicable and unappealing senator, his doings shrouded in speculation.
Moonwell Pass, a righteous and intractable people, these folk dedicate their lives to the sanctity and order of the Patron god, Heironeous. The village was founded by Tay Astley; a crusader, holyman, and revolutionary, is sitting on of what was Guma Guma; the largest native outpost on known Mountain Buckle. With steeples higher than the trees that are made of, the town of Moonwell Pass imposes Heironeous’s will on the unknown frontier to the west. Census: 65% Humans, 15% Dwarf, 5% Elf, 5% Half-Elf, 5% Halfling. NPCs: Tay Astley: Infallible and righteous old man. Little K and KK: Free thinking spirit and his musical cat. Barry Strong: Eldest of three brothers and minister of the church. Yosemite Leghorn: Proud traditionalist and frontiersman, senator of town.

The news!
Linus and Mark, Elven Ranger and Dwarven Fighter, are both already renowned explorers and sailors.
Disruption in the states and international community

Uncanny and rare in the public eye

Technology?!

I hope you all are looking forward to it.
Yeehaw!

Male Human Cavalier (Musketeer)/1

Well this is my character, I think he'll fit in just fine. These are the orders I was talking about:

Order of the High Noon

Edict: Cavaliers who are apart of the High Noon believe in two things; honor and blood. They see duels as the highest form of combat and will do their best to protect the honor of the duel. Being apart of this order means that the Cavalier must mediate any duels if asked and must be willing to take apart of the duel as a Second, regardless of the duelists. A Cavalier of this order may not deny a challenge to a duel unless the opponent is a youth, elderly or disabled. If the duel cannot be held the Cavalier must take an oath to eventually duel the challenger at a later time. Finally if the Cavalier is in a duel he may not back down for any reason other than defeat or victory.

Challenge: When the Cavalier challenges an enemy he is granted a move action to be used immediately after the challenge. At level 6 the Cavalier is granted a standard action instead.

Skill: Sleight of Hand and Perception are class skills for Cavaliers of this order. The Cavalier gains a bonus equal to 1/2 his Cavalier level when hiding a light weapon with Sleight of Hand.

Nerves of Steel: At 2nd level the Cavalier gains a +4 save against fear and compulsion effects. At 6th level if the cavalier makes a successful save against a fear or compelling effect the source of the effect takes the same save plus 1/2 the Cavaliers level or be shaken for 1d4 rounds. At 12th Level the Cavalier is immune to fear.

Draw: At 8th level when the Cavalier challenges an enemy they must take will save equal to DC 10 plus the Cavalier's level or be shaken for 1d4 rounds.

Strikes 12: The Cavalier is so quick out of the holster that he seems to beat an opponent at every turn. At 15th level the Cavalier can never be caught flat-footed. The Cavalier also is always treated as aware and acts first during the surprise round.

Order of the Manacle

Edict: Members of the Order of the Manacle believe that a creatures life always deserves at least a first chance. Members of the order are often moralists or lawmen who see lethality to be a last resort. Order members must never act with deadly force unless nonlethal methods are expended or a person's life is in imminent risk.

Challenge: When the Cavalier challenge an enemy he adds his Cavalier level to both CMD and CMB. The Cavalier may also make grapple, trip, drag, entangle and disarm attempts without provoking an attack of opportunity and without penalty regardless of the tools used. At 12th level the cavalier may nauseate grappled opponents as a move action, daze opponents on a successful trip or cower disarmed opponents. All of the effects have a Fort save of DC 12 + the Cavalier's level and last for 1d2 rounds.

Skill: Acrobatics and Escape Artist are both class skills for Cavaliers of this order. The Cavalier does not receive an armor check penalty when using Escape Artist for any reason.

First Chance: At 2nd the Cavalier may convert any source of lethal damage to non lethal with no penalty. His non lethal damage also ignores DR/5 then up to DR/10 at level 10.

Knowledge of the Knots: At 8th the Cavalier has the effect Discern Lies on an opponent that has been bound, held helpless or pinned by the Cavalier. The bound also have a -4 penalty to will saves.

Wrangler: At 15th level the Cavalier can be treated as one size category larger or smaller at his will. He also may treat an opponent as one size category larger or smaller.

Nice work. Fine by me.

Male Dwarf Mobile Fighter /1

M'name's Notch'khar, but most human-folk have trouble sayin' that the way it's suppose to, so feel free to call me Notch. I'm a digger from up in Brownsville lookin' for a place away from civilization to call my own. Don't get me wrong now, the republic hasn't been bad to me in any way, I just like my privacy and see this here expedition as an excuse to find that for myself.

Diggin' up on Mt. Brown has chiseled me a strong body, and when tentions get high in the mine I've been in my fair share of tussles. I guess you could call me a fighter, if your lookin' for some excuse to why I'd be beneficial to thie 'ere journey. I can hold a hammer with the best of 'em, and I always have my blunderbuss at me side.

Sorry this has taken me so long to post. Does this guy seem to fit in with the campaign setting? I came up with him just now after reading the info. I will write down stats and all that stuff later when I get a chance.

I've already though of something different I want to do for my character. I promise I will post my official character tonight after I get home from school.

Hey he'll do fine, just post this in the gamely section as well get a move on:)

Hey guys sorry I got home a lot later than I expected. I said I was going to make a better post tonight but it will have to wait until tomorrow.

Male Dwarf Mobile Fighter /1

Notch's archetype is going to be Mobile Fighter. The reason being is that in the mine he not only needed to be strong to mine the ore, but quick to jump out of the way of cave ins as well as being able to maneuver swiftly within small, cramped quarters.

Once again I'm sorry for being so flaky with this so far, I really am looking forward to this campaign, I just keep forgetting to get on and post.

If you are proficient with ranged fire arms, you are also considered trained and proficient with them melee. One hand arms deal 1d6 and 2 handed deals 1d10.

I'll be giving you guys another party member for us to control. Will be a level one adept.

A rough approximation of Jane.

Hey I appreciate both of your descriptive posts. Will be sure to ensure a detailed world. Please though, no additional inputs into the world other than your perspective of it. Thank you.

Sorry about that, I guess I forgot about how that works with how long it's been since we all last played. I'll be more careful with my descriptions from now on.

It's alright. I'll make sure I give more details too.

Male Human Alchemist(Rage Vivisectionist)/2

This is my sugestion for the Bard. She's great for our low-diplomacy and no magic group.

I like Adam's bard. My suggestion for her personality is really level-headed. I feel that all three characters are extremes, notch is goofy, Jane is secretive, and Roland is normal, so having a level-headed character to tie the group together may be a good addition.
