Action Figure

"Good thing I'm built tough."

Droid will continue yelling and taunting the primal as he fires where he hopes it was.

aim: 5d6 + 3d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 4, 3, 6) + (4, 6, 6) = 36
bonus: 3d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 3) = 10
bonus: 1d6 ⇒ 3
9 (11 minus 2 for darkness)

(I'm not sure if I can dodge since I moved and attacked already)

Spooky Skeleton Scarecrow

Dodge is a reaction I believe, so you should be able to do so.

Action Figure

Klutzy hops around wary of the great primal threat. "Light light light. What makes light?"

She looks over at Droid, her own little light bulb appearing over her head for a moment. "Ohh oohh! Use your motorlights and I will do more pony magic!" She clops her hooves together happily.

Spooky Skeleton Scarecrow

GM Dice: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 6, 3) = 13

It is difficult for Boxy to judge the actual damage his attack caused, though he is confident it was suitably incredible. His elation quickly turns to horror as he feels something crawling across his flaps. Make that many somethings. They start to cover his whole body, which is uncomfortable to say the least. You are entagled by some unseen effect

Rapid movement can be heard as the primal repositions itself in the room. This time Klutzy is the victim of a hefty slam.

Brawl: 6d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 6, 3, 1, 6) = 24
Bonus: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 3) = 7
7 successes

Female Pint-Size Pony Stuffed Animal

"Meeerrrrppp!" The pony scrambles in her clumsy gait, her wings flapping to help get her away from said unseen fiend.

Round two Action

Klutzy hides from the dark primal thing. "Hide hide hide!" She happens to hide behind the knocked over lamp, lowering her head behind the lamp's head. In a less-whimsical tone, she paws at the light. "Light...Light..." Her eyebrows raise up in concern, her wings fluttering, and then she sees a rainbow sticker that some child had slapped onto the lamp. Just like the type her older Small was so infatuated with. Her Small was still out there..."Light! Pony Magic Light!" She cries out, rearing up onto two legs as she paws at the lamp to get it to flare back to life.

5d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 4, 1, 6) = 22
Bonus
2d6 ⇒ (5, 2) = 7
Five successes

Spooky Skeleton Scarecrow

The light of the lamp sputters to life once again. It immediately burns away the darkness, revealing the primal. You can see that your attacks have done a good deal of damage to it - great gashes mark its hide from Boxy and Droid's attack.

Spot 4 successes:

It looks like something is...moving underneath its flesh?

Immediately the creature recoils in horror. "HISSS!!! KRAKAKAKAKA!" it jibbers as it backs away in the hopes of somehow escaping.

Meanwhile, the Toys come to the terrifying realization that it is actually a swarm of spiders covering Boxy, hindering his movement!

Female Pint-Size Pony Stuffed Animal

If I can use the rest of my round's actions, I'd like to Carouse to help out Boxy, I don't see a range on it so if I have to use a move to do so, I will. LMK if this isn't feasible, of course.

Klutzy trots over to Boxy, tripping in the process, then starts to bite and pull spiders off of him, flinging them away.

Carouse
7d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 4, 2, 1, 5, 5) = 24 +1 Auto success
6 successes to remove spiders from Boxy

Action Figure

Spot: 5d6 + 1d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 6, 4, 6) + (1) = 24
bonus: 3d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 2) = 9
Spot 6

"Gross! There's something crawling around inside it!"

Seeing the effect of the light on the primal, droid will transform into his motorcycle mode and try to use his light to force it into a corner and away from the others.

Spooky Skeleton Scarecrow

Klutzy is indeed able to remove most of the affliction from her companion, restoring the Toys mobility.

Droid attempts to shepherd the creature, though doing so is difficult since the rest of the cabin remains dark.

"GAAAHH! Thank you, thank you, thank you!" he says as Klutzy stamps on the spiders.

How long is the cord on the lamp? Or is it now glowing by pony magic?

Spooky Skeleton Scarecrow

The lamp is on a cord with enough slack to move around the room. The pony magic helps a good deal, but is not vital.

He's just a box.

Boxy will pick up the lamp and coordinate with droid to corner the evil thing.

Spooky Skeleton Scarecrow

Despite your efforts you are unable to effectively corner the creature. It's ability to scamper up walls and ceilings to flee your baleful lights is too much to overcome. However, its attention is almost entirely taken up with trying to avoid the beams while still being dazzled.

It spends its actions this round just trying to get away (unsuccessfully). The Toys are up!

Action Figure

Hopefully I can do both, otherwise I'll leave the light to Klutzy and Boxy and just shoot

Droid will try to keep the primal in his spot light for as long as possible before switching and opening fire.

aim: 5d6 + 3d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 3, 3, 2) + (4, 2, 6) = 28
bonus: 1d6 ⇒ 2

Spooky Skeleton Scarecrow

The primal is unable to defend itself as a result of the intense light barring down on it. Droid's blast strikes true and for the first time you are actually able to see the results on account of the Lamp.

The flesh of the primal ruptures violently, causing a burst of a spider like creatures to come tumbling out of it and spill across the ground. Luckily nobody is in contact with the primal right now, otherwise they would have been covered in the escaping creatures - likely what happened to Boxy earlier.

After Droid's attack the primal is looking very, very ragged, almost deflated even. Victory is in sight!

Action Figure

"Yuck. I hate spiders."

Female Pint-Size Pony Stuffed Animal

Klutzy whinnies as she uneasily nudges the lamp, trying to keep the primal in the light's view. "Concen...trate....pony...magic..." She slurs her words as she tries desperately to focus on the might of Pony Magic to put this thing away.

He's just a box.

Boxy sees that it is weakened. He raises the lamp and charges it with his glowing lance of righteousness!

brawl: 7d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 6, 4, 5, 2, 5) = 25
bonus: 1d6 ⇒ 2

Spooky Skeleton Scarecrow

The primal is caught completely flat-footed by Boxy's sudden rush. The lamp pierces its sternum, plunging deep inside. Concentrating as hard as they can, every Toy in the room practically wills the light to shine brighter. The primal, in response, makes an odd burping sound just before light comes pouring out of its various orifices. A few seconds of bated breath pass...

And the primal explodes! The light is just to much to bare as its flesh-sack peels outwards. The spiders burst out as well but are immediately burned away by the intense heat. Moments later the bulb shatters and the lamp is rendered useless. Fortunately, the veil of darkness around the cabin lifts, revealing the hint of dawn outside.

Finally...the night is over.

Female Pint-Size Pony Stuffed Animal

Klutzy nervously trots forward toward Boxy, her cross eyes on the lookout for any more trouble. After several seconds of scanning the room, a smile crosses her face. The pony rears up onto two legs, she speaks in a sing-song voice, "We did it, we did it! Thingie goes away! Night turns into...uh.." She pauses in thought of a proper line...then repeats herself, "We did it, we did it!"

He's just a box.

Boxy begins dancing around, flapping his flaps. "Awesome! You are the bravest robot and pony I know. We are the bestest team ever."

Female Pint-Size Pony Stuffed Animal

Easily excitable, Klutzy takes flight, going a whopping four feet before crashing. "Ever!"

Spooky Skeleton Scarecrow

The Toys make it back to their Smalls just as the sun begins to poke over the horizon. By now the memories of the night's horrors have already begun to fade, replaced by the warm glow of morning light. You rest soundly, knowing that your Smalls have nothing more to fear.

The rest of the time at Camp Arawak is uneventful; no more primals come to bother you. Instead you pass each night in gentle repose, reminiscing and simply enjoying one another's company.

Finally the time to return to your home's comes and you do so with joy in your cores. You made some new friends, after all, and nothing is more important!
