"Droid"
"Okay, let's do this."
Droid pauses for a moment before psyking himself up and rushes into the darkness that is Boxy's mouth? Forcefully putting aside images of himself being swallowed and sliding down a bottomless, slimy gullet. Never to see Eddy again.
tiptoe: 5d6 + 2d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 5, 3, 5) + (1, 5) = 25(5?)
GM JC Spooks
Boxy, as you turn to address Tuffet you find that he seems to have lost his stomach for adventure! At this exact moment he is partway through climbing back through the window into the first cabin, likely intent to protect the children within should anything try and slip through. What a noble act!
Meanwhile Chitwick and Droid appear just on the other side of the door, conveniently under the bunk. A cursory inspection reveals something shocking. All over the cabin are strands of yarn, running this way and that, from one wall to another, attached to bed posts, window sills, footlockers, and totally crisscrossing the room. You also see six or so creatures crawling along the yarn, stringing up even more as they go. The shadowy phantoms are clearly primals, possessing humanoid torsos clumsily attached to the abdomen of a arachnid. They chitter bizzarely to one another, continuously in pursuit of some alien objective.
They don't appear to have noticed you yet, nor do they appear to be overly concerned with assaulting the sleeping children within the cabin. Odd, considering that primals rarely show such patience.
GM JC Spooks
In the immediate area of the bed you don't see anything sharp. There's a crooked nail sticking up from a floorboard, maybe, but that would be a longshot at best.
Maybe...? No, these children are far too young to be using straight razors.
While you are looking for something that could potentially cut the yarn, you notice that the Primals are simply using their long, spider-like legs. Apparently they hold quite the edge as they quickly snip through strands in pursuit of their mysterious objective (though that's not saying much given the durability of yarn).
GM JC Spooks
Those of you beneath the bed spy something moving, only a few short feet away! Whatever it is, it had been hidden behind a pair of discarded socks, blocking it from your sight.
As the thing slowly crawls further out you can see that it's some sort of Toy, though it looks battered and maimed in its current state. It doesn't seem to have noticed you yet, though you can't really tell what it's doing anyways.
GM JC Spooks
The toy slowly turns its head towards you but seems unable to respond, likely on account of its wounds, and instead just gestures wildly. Sure does have a lot of energy for such a mangled guy...
Upon closer inspection you recognize this Toy! Or at least what he's made of...Eddy had a lot of modern toys, including a few Lego kits. This guy looks like he's made of those same parts and if you remember right, they're pretty resilient. It probably won't take much to get him back together.
Meanwhile one of the spider-creatures appears to have finished its task and is skittering away towards a small window in the ceiling, likely intent on leaving the cabin.
Chitwick
"Now that's what I'm talkin about!"
Chitwick gets in a power stance, takes a deep breath and bellows at another one of the spider-like creatures. He lets loose a wild howler monkey yell.
Blast: 7d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 1, 6, 5, 4, 5) = 30 6 successes +
2d6 ⇒ (1, 6) = 7 1
1d6 ⇒ 4 and that's 2
total of 8 successes +2 for Cap
GM JC Spooks
Surprise Round
Droid's rifle leaves a horrible burn in one of the spider-creatures causing it (and the rest of the of the primals, for that matter) to jump in surprise. The startled monster loses its footing and falls from the piece of yarn to the cabin floor.
The one targeted by Chitwick is not so lucky as it is struck by the concussive wall of force, causing it to burst into a shadowy mass that quickly dissipates.
Meanwhile Boxy you manage to put the unfortunate Lego man back into a recognizable state. It quickly gets back on its feet and addresses you in a strange mechanical voice: +++CONFIRMATION OF OPERATIONAL PARAMETERS. ACKNOWLEDGING FRIENDLY UNIT. COMMAND: thank you.+++
Round 1
Initiative everyone!
Lego 707: 6d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 1, 1, 1, 2) = 12 1 success
Bonus: 1d6 ⇒ 1
Hybrid-Primals: 6d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 4, 3, 5, 2) = 21 5 successes
Bonus: 1d6 ⇒ 5 1 success
It looks like the Lego is still scrambled a little, it takes him a long time to get himself together enough to fight.
The spider-creatures react a lot faster, though it looks like 3 of them are attempting to make a run for it rather than standing and fighting. The other two (one that was wounded by Droid and the other unwounded) gather themselves and make ready to fight back.
Once we establish initiative I'll post enemy actions, feel free to post your own actions along with your initiative rolls.
Boxy
initiative: 6d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 3, 1, 3, 3) = 18 =5 successes
He seem surprised that this worked and is positively beaming with delight. "Umm, ACKNOWLEDGE: You're Welcome!" With that he pats him supportively on the back. Then he moves over to try and grab one of the creatures
blanket: 3d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 1) = 8
bonus: 1d6 ⇒ 2 =1 success
brawl: 7d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 3, 4, 2, 4, 2) = 21 =4 successes
Chitwick
Initiative: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 6, 6) = 21
bonus: 3d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 2) = 11
bonus: 1d6 ⇒ 5
7 Successes
Chitwick flutters into action. This wasn't his first rodeo, and it shows.
C'MON YOU SPIDERY SCREWHEADS! COME & GET IT!
He beats his chest and lets out another booming howl, this time towards the nearest creature.
Boom: 7d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 1, 2, 1, 5, 5) = 24
bonus: 1d6 ⇒ 6
bonus: 1d6 ⇒ 5
6 successes

Round 1
Initiative:
Chitwick
Droid
Boxy
Hybrid-Primals
Lego 707
Chitwick unleashes yet another scathing tirade at one of the Primals who tries to squirm away in response.
Dodge: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 6, 3) = 13 3 successes
Bonus: 1d6 ⇒ 5 1 success
A deep gash is made in its side as a result of the attack, but it yet lives.
Can you roll an attack if that's what you want to do, Droid?
Meanwhile Boxy is trying to entrap the other unfortunate spider creature who also attempts to move out of the way.
Dodge: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 5, 1) = 17 3 successes
Bonus: 1d6 ⇒ 5 1 success
Thanks to it's many legs it is able to scramble out of the way of the Toys attack and quickly retaliates with a stab from one of his claws.
Brawl: 5d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 5, 3, 6) = 21 5 successes
Bonus: 1d6 ⇒ 3 1 success
At the same time the other primal (the one Chitwick had attacked) turns around and fires a burst of yarn at Chitwick from his *ahem* rump.
Aim: 3d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 3) = 12 3 successes
Bonus: 1d6 ⇒ 1
If this attack deals damage you you gain the entangled condition as you are wrapped up in sticky yarn.
The rest of the primals continue to flee and the Lego Toy gives chase, moving to a better position as they primals near the ceiling.
Boxy
dodge: 7d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 6, 5, 6, 3, 2) = 28 = 5 successes
bonus: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 3) = 9 = 2 successes
bonus: 1d6 ⇒ 5 = 1 success
When the claw comes up, he opens his flaps so that it strikes into empty space and then closes up on it
brawl: 7d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 6, 5, 3, 3, 4) = 28 = 6 successes
bonus: 1d6 ⇒ 4 = 1 success
Woo Hoo! Good dice macro!
GM JC Spooks
Round 2
Chitwick
Droid
Boxy
Hybrid-Primals
Lego 707
Boxy tries to trap the primal a second time
Dodge: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 5, 4) = 16 3 successes
Bonus: 1d6 ⇒ 3 1 success
and despite its notable agility it is comically stuffed inside the confines of the cardboard Toy.
Waiting on Droid and Chitwick for round 2
"Droid"
(Oops, didn't realize I was a round behind)
Zap, Pow, Bazing!
aim: 5d6 + 3d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 5, 6, 6) + (3, 6, 2) = 31
[Bonus: 3d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 1) = 7
For 6
(And for next round...)
Pew, Pew, Pew
aim: 5d6 + 3d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 6, 5, 6) + (5, 3, 4) = 33
Bonus: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 6) = 12
Bonus: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 3) = 6
For 11!!!!!!
GM JC Spooks
Round 2
Chitwick
Droid
Boxy
Hybrid-Primals
Lego 707
Chitwick is disabled temporarily by the yarn.
Droid fires at the same primal again and *pretends to roll to dodge against an 11* finishes off the unfortunate creature.
Boxy gobbles up on of the Primals that was attacking the Toys (leaving just one that had wrapped up Chitwick).
Speaking off, that same Hybrid rushes Boxy and attacks in the hope of freeing its companion.
Brawl: 5d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 6, 6, 6) = 25 4 successes
Bonus: 3d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 3) = 11 3 successes
Luck or skill, you'll have to admit that that was a pretty hefty blow.
The remaining two hybrids continue trying to flee. One will leave through the window to the roof by the end of next round.
Lego 707 stops firing and quickly makes his way to Chitwicks side. His hand transforms from a cannon into an orange transparent chainsaw that he uses to cut away the sticky yarn, freeing his new ally.
Round 3 go!
Boxy
--- Reaction phase ---
OOF!
dodge: 7d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 1, 6, 6, 3, 5) = 28 4 successes
bonus: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 3) = 5 1 success
The blow knocks the stuffing out of boxy, collapsing him without injury. Sadly the stuffing is not some harmless fluff but an evil spider thingy.
--- Later, at my turn ---
Taking a second to refold himself upright, he leaps on the hybrid that hit him. Battering him with his flaps, he calls out, "That isn't fair. No jailbreaks!"
brawl: 7d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 2, 1, 2, 3, 6) = 23 4 successes
bonus: 1d6 ⇒ 6 1 success
bonus: 1d6 ⇒ 4 1 success
I love the orange transparent chainsaw! The only thing I love more is the silver bionicle chainsaw. If we get one of those, then it would all be over pretty quick!
"Droid"
"I don't think so!" as he levels his trusty weapon and Pow, right at the one trying to get out the skylight.
Aim: 5d6 + 3d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 4, 4, 5) + (6, 6, 4) = 35
2d6 ⇒ (3, 6) = 9
bonus: 1d6 ⇒ 5
10!
"That's right! Who's the number one bug stomper of this camp? This toy right here," he points a plastic thumb at his hot rod flames as he looks around, "Who's next?"
GM JC Spooks
Round 3: Chitwick
Chitwick, now free of his restraints, unleashes another scathing tirade aimed against the primal engaged with Boxy. His speech cannot be repeated in polite company, but did contain several choice remarks about its relationship with close relatives.
Boom: 7d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 5, 4, 1, 3, 2) = 22 4 successes
Round 4
Chitwick
Droid
Boxy
Hybrid-Primals
Lego 707
Between Boxy and Chitwick one of the primals disappears in a puff of harmless smoke. Meanwhile Droid exhibits amazing marksmanship in blasting one of the fleeing hybrids from his perch near the ceiling.
Two hybrids remain; one that Boxy had trapped earlier in the battle and the other that takes its cue to leave. It will flee by way of the roof at the end of the round. The other hybrid holds its ground, waiting to see what the Toys will do before attacking.
Boxy
Boxy focuses on the one that's staying behind to get them. He was an up-close type of box. And hey, who's better at boxing?
With a jump and a "Hi-ya" (because aren't all fighters supposed to do that?), he pounces with a flurry of flaps to the face. but wait... They don't have faces!
brawl: 7d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 1, 2, 1, 1, 1) = 15 2 successes
Bleah!
GM JC Spooks
The lego construct chirps in response: "ANALYZING QUERY...REQUEST RECEIVED. COMMENCING OPERATION". The saw buzzes to life again as he goes about assisting Droid with cutting down the yarn strands.
The going is slow, however, since Droid is limited to using his rifle while the Lego unit lacks the ability to reach some of the higher strands.
Plus, the question still lingers at the back of your minds: what was the purpose of all of this?
"Droid"
Do the strands fade away as they are cut or do they stay? If they stay Droid will try and wind up the longest piece he can find.
"I dunno what they were doing but we're not gonna find out if we stay here. Maybe we should check arts and crafts. See if they're missing a bunch of this stuff. I think the Bigs call it knitting rope or something like that."
