Added more crunch. Just working on background now.

Not sure if it would be better to start as a PFS agent or join in story.

Depends upon your preferences. Woodsedge has a Society house, though if I remember correctly, not well looked upon. You could be working as a courier, bringing something out, or more likely were merely tasked with delivering something to agents in the town, now returning to Almas to catch a ship back to Absalom.

50%! Too good to pass up. Sir Gareth would invest 100 gp in the venture and provide a banking house that serves Taldor and Andoran. Perhaps, the proceeds can be directly paid to someone representing the House of Orionus in Almas.

I shall so note you are a 10% partner in the caravan, and yes, if the family has dealings in Almas, they should be able to accept your funds on your behalf.

Here is my application. She would act as guard most likely.

Would it make sense she had a vision of trouble that led her to return from Galt?

Sorry I overlooked this post, it did not load in my RSS feed, but yes, the visions could easily lead back from Galt, on the road to what has not yet been determined.

I like that idea. I think that would be fine, making deliveries under the guise of being just a cook. ;p

Wasn't that Steven Seagal's character in Under Siege? "...just a lowly cook."

Born in Tian Xin to the twin soul demon slaying family Karasu. Shu was cursed at birth by rival lords of the lands of the land for his parents refusal to bend in the ways Shizuru, demon slaying style. The village was soon attacked after ward. Father was killed on the escape along with most of the serving members. The only ones to make it out alive, were my mother and her two brothers who served as retainers.
The conditions of the land made the migration to wall of heaven very difficult. Shinji soon died of starvation and fever. Seven months later mother went into labor, that lasted three days ultimately killing her.
For the next eight years Kei kept us in a ghost town, waiting on my ability to cross the great mountains. By the age of nine we had reached the viking. They took us in with hesitation but soon found value in Kei's skill as a black smith. With in two months we were given a cabin on the outskirts of town. Then it was explained to me what I was, and why I had to stay away from the town folk.
The only soul who dared to socialize with me was a eccentric warrior named Erin Yager who knew of our family history. He was an old, half blind, demon hunter. Who taught me the use of the sword, a style of using two full weapon that he called twin dragon.
Eight years pass as I learn to use the family blades in the twin dragon style.
One night bandits attacked.. Though the bandits were quickly dissipated inside the settlement,Erin was killed by the watch men in his sleep. In fire and rage of his burning hut I killed three men and devoured them.
I was soon exiled for those actions. Kei left me with my family blades and these words "you can free yourself from curse".
A year later after following the tales of demons and curses, I ended up on a caravan into a land plagued by it.
Shu wears a clock with a crow devouring a demon on the back, with infernal written below it Hunter. He constantly covers his right arm, and mouth. And acts mostly as a mute. He also trains early in the morning, after praying to the goddess Shizuru. (Karasu means crow)(yager means hunter) and he chose to be called asura in this land not to sully his family name.

Hey everyone I'm the Sorcerer joining the group good luck to everyone

Yes, you can notate what equipment you wish to carry in the horse's saddlebags, just remember if you need it, it is where it is unless you previously say otherwise.

I plan on having the horse carrying stuff related to it.

I would say Angel could work as a healer or gaurd.. Although she wouldnt expect payment.. If the caravan will take her to where her love went than that will be payment enough.. Oh and being a follower of Sarenrae she would deff. celebrate Angel Day, and it also befits her name so.. lol

Made a copy of the Caravan jobs in my profile.

Is tomorrow still the decision day?

Updated equipment.

Yes, I will be making the decision on the evening of the 30th. It is proving tough deciding, will be close for a few slots.

Description
Corso is a tall man in his early twenties. Lean, muscular and fair, he carries himself in an unassuming and discreet way while, somewhere in his grey-black eyes, or perhaps in his stance, one can recognize a flash of defiance and pride. His skin is tan and shows the subtle signs of one who has traveled a lot. He keeps his skull free of hair, yet wears a black beard in the style of the young nobles of Taldor.

A dark cape protects him from the weather and conceals his studded leather armor and dueling sword.

His accent is a composite of the one found in the surrounding countries, with even a hint of elvish, but certain brevoyan roots.

Background
Corso Gaczi was born Darijk Surtova, son of Crizj Surtova, distant cousin of the king and member of the court; a minor but aggressive noble made sure that all his son got a very strict and strenuous training in the subtle and deadly arts of the Brevoy court.

He showed promise, and his father spent a great deal of money to send him, at 12 years old, to the greatest teachers of the world. In Razmiran, under the tutelage of the high priest Karzham, he studied the arts of oratory and logic, spending hours shouting in front of the crashing waves on the shores of the formidable Lake Encarthan. In Kyonin, the elven master Daolia taught him the arts of remaining unseen and of the silent and swift kill. There he also witnessed the power of the ideal, the rebirth of a once proud nation. In Taldor, at the foot of the Fog Peaks, he studied under Del Federico the subtleties of royal politics and court intrigues, and how nations grow and break. He even spent some time in Isam, capital of Galt, where Flana Fondel took him as her lover, showing him, the ways of manipulating the heart, the basis of overthrowing a government and to harness the power of the mob. Finally, he studied in Almas, the Aldoran capital, where his world was shattered by the liberal teachings of the gnomish philosopher Codoroso.

His youth, and the relative peace of being a student with means, was cut short when he received a letter from his older brother announcing that his father died and that he had taken over the leadership of the family. According to him, the family could not afford to pay for his astronomical education fees and had to stop sending him money, starting now.

Filled with a nascent understanding of men’s hearts, of politics and intrigue, he decided to come back to Brevoy, but a new man, with a new name: Corso Gaczi; intent on bringing a lasting change to the superficial culture of Brevoy’s nobility.

Liberty's Edge

Can't wait to find out until this evening. Best of luck, and hopefully see you in the caravan!

Best of luck to all.

Yes, Good Luck to all!

Good gaming and Luck to you all.

Same here!

I apologize for missing the deadline, I actually spent the day with my son, clearing out an old garden overgrown in mint and lemonbalm. More work than anticipated.

It was difficult reaching a final decision, and I was hard pressed not to want a larger group for this endeavor. I want to keep all of you in mind, should any of the chosen players fall out of the campaign, as I think you all compliment the campaign goals and one another quite well.

That said, I have narrowed the selection down to 4 players to include with Xavorin and Shu. In alphabetical order, I have selected Angel Dawnstar, Conner Hawthorne, D'witt Hirshue, and Sir Gareth d'Orionus to join in this retelling of the Temple of Elemental Evil saga.

Thank you all for your participation, and I hope there will be many more games in our future, either in real life, in a PbP together or other endeavors here on Paizo's pages.

The discussion and gameplay threads should be open for those chosen to comment and begin posting.

Grand Lodge

indeed good luck to everyone.

its gonna be a rough ride: 4 Melee + ranged + 1 arcane caster....

No Problem, RL is more important than a game.
