Sounds good Rorek. My wife, Kate, gives me grief whenever I use Prestidigitation to change the colors on her favorite mugs, but I know she's not really ticked off. She's really got a good sense of humor, but feels that my magic ways are foolish.

Watching the dwarf stumble forward and imagining being responsible for serving beer and ale for other louts like him makes Rory's head ache slightly. With a grin, he covers his forehead with one palm. "I'm glad my job just involves running the town. Running the bar sounds much harder, and more dangerous!"

With a sense of brotherhood, Bannock fills Rodar's mug from the pitcher. "If'n yer gonna be a drunk, then be a drunk drunk!" Bannock laughs uproariously despite not being very funny.

"Now, mayor, how would'ja think abou' followin' a deity that ain't...'zactly...alive? Sound good don'it?"

He again laughs uproariously.

"Oh, don' looked so soused. I know it sounds a wee daft." He gets a far-away look in his eyes. "But Imma do it. Imma gon' bring 'er back." He leans and close and whispers, "An' ya know the best part? I've no idea how!"

Laughter again fills the meadhall.

Alright, so who wants to bet on what's going to go wrong? My top three guesses are:

·Bandits attack the town with some big weapon(s).
·A big monster shows up.
·Nothing bad happens and we've all been tricked into a purely social game.

Hey guys! Sorry for being incommunicado these past few days; I've been on Christmas vay-cay with my family without any internet access since last Wednesday. I'm back with a vengeance today, though - posting from the airport. As soon as I get home I'll get caught up on everything.

Rorek55, are you around? The game's been very quiet, so I thought to check in.

I hope it continues.

Slow is actually working for me at the moment, my youngest decided she was done with the oven about 3 weeks before we expected her be. So this is the first time in about 3 days I've been able to check in with my games and get caught up.

Slow is one thing, I'm just wondering if the DM is coming back!

Has anyone pm'd him?

sorry folks I lost internet for a while, (I'm still not sure what happened with my ISP, but hey, they gave me free service for a few months so I didn't pry to much) once I get other things set back in order I'll try and get everything caught back up.

Two things:

1) Either I never understood this or I forgot: Are we -adding- the NPC class hit points, or just overwriting them? Like, if we had a d6 from our NPC class and a d8 from the PC class, do you now have 14 hit points?

2) Rorek55, are you back? Like, for realz back? Is this game now a 1/day post requirment, or will it usually be 3/week?

Keep the HP from the NPC class. And that depends on players. Things have calmed down a bit now though.

I'm training in a newbie at my office today, so I'll have less time for forum updates.

And, also, yes, we did. Remember that your abilities stack. You're kinda like a lvl 2 character, but at level 1.
