We have a four person party which is quite fine. And we're on the very doorstop of the meat of the adventure. So, my question is: Are we good?

Rorek, are you good with this number?

We've got a mage, a fighter, a cleric and a monk, which is a good mix. So it's not like we -need- anyone else. But some might be better with more.

I'm just asking.

-IF- we wanted more people, I'd suggest to not do recruiting. I'd say that all of us invite one person, and then Rorek would vet them as he wanted. I suggest this because if someone already has a personal connection to a game (i.e. a direct Invitation by someone they know) they are more likely to put energy into it.
We'd probably lose one person who didn't complete the process, and one person would drop later, so eight players would become a party of 6.

Again, if we don't want that, fine. I'm ready to pick Blessings and drive on, I just want a concensus.

Rorek, please do weigh in. Personally, I have no idea where your headspace is and I'd really like to know.

I like this concept and I'm looking foward to taking this character to level 16 and doing something with a diety (either kill. Or bring back. Or both.).
Let's bat this back and forth over the weekend so that by Monday we know what direction we're going.
(*chuckle* Just for disclosure, none of you know the guy I'd invite. We both got not-selected for the same game. So he must be good. =)

If recruitment does open, I know a player from a game I was DMing recently that ended that would be a good fit. I agree with Bannock that turning to the recruitment forum will not be necessary, if we go that route.

I've never been in a small PbP party of players, though. If we're all consistent and active, I could easily see this party working out fine by itself.

I would be happy to take another player or two.

If Bannock and Rory have people they would like to bring in, I have no issue with that.

Is everyone having fun? I feel like their is a lack of interest. I would be willing to recruit 1-3 more, but we would need faster posting. I haven't updated yet due to my computer going kaput.

Agreed. It's alright if we take along someone who is a little unsure of themselves, though - the important thing is activity and interest.

Dylan has spent the last few years either singing for his supper or as a happy drunk. It would take something fairly significant to stir him into action. Could they have stolen something that mattered to him? Or swiped something from someone he cared about? He could have followed them hoping to retrieve the item. He can be a sneaky sort when he needs to be so he could be lurking about waiting for an opening.

*edit By 'they" I meant the bandits the group is currently facing not the enemy from original setup. Alternately he could be a captive of said bandits

Dylan, you will have a silver Mug (1d6 Bludgeoning simple weapon counts as silver) a Masterwork Lute (or whatever instrument you had in mind)

and 150g to do with as you please. You wont have either of the above when you start.
