I'm going to propose a pause to Monday since it sounds like we have at least one other gencon person. I was going to try to keep things going from my phone, but I think waiting might be the better plan. My fault on chronicles. Going so crazy prepping gencon, I'm behind on reporting duties both online and off for the last 2 weeks. I'll get you all linked to them

FYI, I'm currently in the process of moving to a new house.
I've currently been able to keep up with posting for the most part, but there's always the possibility that this could slip; please bot me if needed. Specifically, my internet service is being transferred tomorrow (Sat 19 Aug). This is the riskiest part of my move as regards these PbP games; if I disappear tomorrow, know that I'll be trying desperately hard to get things back in order so that I can play again ASAP. (Hopefully, everything is seamless and you never notice any interruption to my posting.)

Hey, moving's a chore! It's been hard to find good time in front of a computer, and it looks like that last goblin's done for anyway. I'm only good for a one-liner right now, so I'm going to pass on that and wait for the action to move instead.
I'll be back up to speed again soon, I'm sure!

Is Quazel still with us?
Was wondering the same. Been almost 4 weeks since his last post. I have an elegant exit coming if I on't get a response.
If that's the case, I'd recommend we complete part 2 with 4 (and I'll choose the randomish stuff accordingly.) We'll likely want to stock up for part 3, since there is one encounter in that one I'd worry about a little bit.

I'm going to have to bow out. Work has prevented me from actively being on this site for a while now, and it's not fair to keep the slot.

Are we still waiting on Chronicles? I think that's why I never got around to leveling Truddig up online, was still waiting for the final details.

Hi all, I'm on vacation, and it's a long one; I don't get back home until late on 11 Sept. I'll never be far from internet, so I intend to keep posting throughout, but it will probably be only once per day, and if I'm not up when I happen to be on, I might miss a post that day. Please don't let me hold up the game if that happens, please bot me.

Hi, I'm back from vacation! The return trip was a bit much for me to handle; I couldn't fit any posting in over the last couple of days. I appreciate any botting that you may have done in the meantime. I'm heading over to the Gameplay tab now; I will post shortly if it's appropriate.
Thanks again for your patience!

Most afternoons I had easy access to internet and my laptop. I find that I post well when I have that. When I'm limited to my phone or a tablet, that's when posting gets rough. Too much finger-typing on a screen gets discouraging.

It's that time again! I just can't stop taking vacations, so sorry. :)
I'm going to be hitting the road Thursday afternoon, not returning until Sunday evening. This is a camping trip; if I have internet access while I'm gone, it will only be through my phone. I'll give it a shot, but I don't have high hopes; posts will be very brief if they happen.
Please bot me if I'm holding anything up!

Hi all, I am back. I'm just checking into Discussion on all of my games at the moment; I will circle back around and catch up in Gameplay before the end of the day today.
Thanks for your patience!

I was thinkin' on goin' around 'em...but I'll fight if y'all want to fight...figure we're dealing with giant birds, raven swarms, or both...don't know how many though...

Hey GM, just a head's up, I know you're Thalionwen over in the Phantom Phenomena thread...another GM has volunteered to finish it up for us, with Magabeus' blessing. Several folk posted over on Flaxseed and Castamir asking 'bout Aeon as he hasn't posted on any session he's GMing or playing in a week, and I mentioned our session.
Over on our Discussion tab, the new GM wants to make sure all the players are OK with it and three of us chimed in so far...

Hey all,
I'll be vacationing with the family Wednesday through Monday for Fall Break in Chicago and surrounding areas.
The itinerary makes it look like I'll have little time to post. Feel free to bot me!

Truddig will be taking another level in Druid, which will net him +1 BAB and +1 1st level spell/day. He'll be taking Snake Style as his level 3 feat (primarily ranged defense). So his combat ability improves marginally, but he's not really coming into his own yet. I'm okay proceeding as-is, but while I intend him to be a superb melee combatant eventually, he's really only melee support right now.
With a magus and a bloodrager on hand, that's probably fine. We're not a bad party as-is.
Couple of extra folks certainly won't hurt, though.
@GM, are we playing with a 4-player adjustment, or is that not a part of this module?

![]() |
I've got some response with the recruiting thread. Welcome to watch there too if you haven't.
Modules and AP's are actually all written with the assumption of 4 players to start with. PFS adventures were bumped up to a 6 person default to support public game days better, but other published material are all written with 4 player adjustment as the default.
You guys have a pretty strong party in combat for 4 players. I'm thinking about one particular combat in this adventure that is much harder than anything in part 1 and 2, and the two extra bodies to share the damage would be good.

And the halfling opens the door, looks around and walks in slamming the door behind him.
With his slingstaff held over one shoulder he trudges in and gives everyone the evil eye.
With his sun-bleached blond hair tied back everyone gets a good look at him.
From chest to toe his body is wrapped in strips of leather, of various shades of browns, blacks and a bit of green cloth in between. A small backpack on his back and a small knife at his waist. He has leather strips across his wrists and another sling on his belt.
"Got word there's some adventurers 'round. An' if I know adventurer types, it's that y'all make a mess of everything and leave devastation in your wake. I'm here to make sure no animals get hurt while yer all fighting mindflayers and whatnot."
He takes a secont to let it sink in then adds...
"Call me Quinn."
I know this is the discussion thread but here's my intro anyway. Hi guys! Who's who and what do you do and who's the party?? And thanks for having me. Hope I survive the experience"

![]() |

"By Syrzinkasha's multiple expressions of dismay, we aren't just adventurers, we are Pathfinders! We do not leave devast... We mostly don't leave dev... We don't leave much devastation at all in our wake." Exclaims the vudrani man in light armor, favoring his right arm. "I am Hasmed McGuffin. Yes, I know. I was adopted. And I am the Fist that will shake the world!" he exclaims as he brandishes his weapon, a knucle-axe that has seen better days in his lean hand.

![]() |

"Fellow Pathfinders! So not as careless as the usual adventuring party. And I haven to admit I have never seen a weapon like that before. So, what's the deal? What've the Society got'cha up to round these... Oh crap that's a red dragon!"

![]() |

"Mighty quiet around here. So 'Fist of Vudra', what're the Pathfinders gotcha up to nowadays? Also that's an interesting choice of weaponry you got there. S'up with that?" Quinn says hopping on the seat across from the Magus.
