I think your bunny is going to be my best friend. Well that and acid splash. Pull up a chair boys it's gonna be a long night at 1d3 per round.

Cast enlarge on the bunny and it goes to 20ft range. But yeah. Modiocre damage from Fritz, but the reach man, the REACH! :D And make that 2d3 a round. I beleive I got acid splash as well. Or atleast my crossbow before running out of crossbolts. Eitherway. Time to figure out a survival plan!

Edit: Nope no acid splash. But I got summons!

Sounds great, except for that whole building-is-on-fire thing. :)

So, we avoid groups like the plague until we're more powerful. Which leaves us with the debacle on how to get out of here.

When they get killed, don't they go *poof*? A good distraction, yes, but probably only for a couple of rounds each.

Would this be a bad point to mention that armor does not add to CMD.

hmmm I have the faint glimmerings of a way out of this. We just might live. I'll bounce it off you IC once the Shallowsoul issue is resolved.

That'd be enough of a distraction. Keep the ponies ahead of them, a visible 'easier' meal. I got a minute at least for each summons.
Also...So far we got fast and strong zombies...At least so far it seems their not SMART zombies..Otherwise we're zombie chow at this level.

I more meant to have my Earthbreaker. At least now I can crack some skulls.

I asked to back up and take my action back because the map didn't show all those zombies in that hallway so with an 18 Intelligence I am not that stupid. If I can't go back on my action then I need you guys to help me out. I still have a high AC so while they can grapple me, it's still hard to hit me.

I'm very confused actually as to the layout and where everyone is. I thought we were all in an attic but it shows us in different rooms.

We were above the rooms in the attic. I have no idea why you decided to jump down into the hallway. Some of us snuck into our rooms, but with the doors closed, so the zeds didn't notice us.

Khron can't do anything for another two rounds, and charging blindly in to help you is just as likely to get the rest of us killed as it is to save you. Really, couldn't you have controlled the zombie from the attic? Literally no one else was ready to go down there.

shallowsoul wrote:

I'm not clear on this at all. grapple check on shallowsoul CMB=8, +6 for helpers1d20 + 8 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 8 + 6 = 33.

When you grapple and have others help you then it's 1d20 + CMB + feats etc... + 2 for each person helping which equaled a 19. Not sure where you are getting a 33 from. The other's "only" provide a + 2, they don't get to add in anything else that they may have.

1d20+8 is the one zombie. 1d20+8+6 is because he has three more zombies helping him. And he rolled a 19, so that equals 33.

From the way the map read it looked like I started in my room and I could just walk out my door and into the hallway, I never said I jumped down the hole because I didn't know there was a hole to begin with. I thought someone was making a hole in the ceiling. Everyone was saying they were getting their stuff from their rooms so I thought we were somehow all in our rooms. I'm confused as hell to be honest.

As shallowsoul has pointed out, even though he is grappled, he still needs to be hit.

And from the look of it, help is on the way.

Barbarian (Invulnerable Rager)1[ HP: 15/15 AC: 16 T: 12 FF: 14 | F: +5 R: +2 W -1(Birthmark)

Shouldn't I be around where Khron is since to my understanding he is next to the opening in his room? Or is it that that action hasn't happened yet in the initiative?

Just this thing got a little bit confusing, so trying to make sure I have the right picture.

Edit: @Kron: About the language thing you suggested. The god's name being in "common" was intentional. Names aren't translated, of coarse if you used some sort of tittle that would be different, something like "the enlightened one."

Fair enough, was just a suggestion. If I knew how to type in Cyrillic and still remembered Russian from High School, I'd totally write Gorum out for you. :)

As far as positioning, I think it's pretty safe to say we're all reasonably close to ways down to the second floor from the attic, and most of the people over their rooms are simply displayed there as to not clutter everything else.

I havent heard back from teodor, so i am going to remove him from gameplay, but keep him as a reserve till tomorrow. If nothing is heard from him, then he will be out of the party.

Sad to hear that.

Please do not feed him to the zombies, we don't need more brain-eaters to deal with.

I've just had a thought; where do you stand on zombies on fire? From a zombie apocalypse planning point of view, I think zombies on fire are bad as it just means flaming corpses coming at you as their brains will still work until they fry in the brain pan. Might be different under Pathfinder rules though.

Would be just as bad under Pathfinder. The zombie would be taking 1d6 with a dc 15 ref save for the fire to go out/turn. As far as the fire adding damage to their grapple or attacks, that is a GM call but adding something to grapple seems reasonable.

If it were me I would rule that the only the grapples have you in contact with enough flame to matter and either have the grapple do 1d3 or 4 hp of fire damage or force a dc 10 ref save for the target to avoid catching fire themselves. Yes dc 10 is pretty low but a)these are low level mindless undead and b) take a good look at how hard being grappled hits your ref save.

Pity about Taldor...
And then there were seven?

Im debating about that. I planned this out for 8...hmmm
