Yes, sorry lost it in the heal discussion. He should be dismissed, and False Rothel takes damage.

Lisbarr gives Anri a suspicious glare. "Well if you were trying to demonstrate that you were on our side, there were better ways. Although given the tendency of everyone here to attack the wrong people I will give you a chance and see what you do next..."
Norrin Axebeard |
Thanks for the clarification, Rothel.
The half-orc greets Anri with wild conjecture,
"Well, if the Tough Guide to Absalom is anything to go by, it sounds like you narrowly avoided a night at the old Grog Pit."
"He'd probably blame it on you," the rogue points to his eviscerated body double, "by saying you were inappropriately dressed, or something like that."
Move to H18.
Norrin proceeds to dismantle the Devourer, with his fist.
Thievery 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (6) + 19 = 25

The false Rahz-Ahk vanishes abruptly under Anri's attentions while Norrin vents his feelings beating up the Devourer's face. By now the stonework is looking very battered and it is clear that the arcane wards are weakening fast.

Rothel concentrates hard, doing his utmost to ignore the taunts of his bearded evil twin and prods the exact right place - possibly more by luck than good judgement.
There is a horrible sizzling sound as the arcane bonds on the face break at last. The replicas remain, but there will be no more of them.
Sorry to hear about the computer issues. What's False Rothel up to?
Rothel Nelis |
Rothel backtracks to the face, and manages to disrupt the final pattern to remov the magic from the face. As an afterthought, he suggests that Rahz-Ahk make nice for the swipe he gave Norrin.
Move to J18.
Standard, disarm trap as above.
Minor, Healing Spirit on Norrin (Surge+6) Rothel gets the 4d8 ⇒ (6, 6, 4, 1) = 17 and all allies adjacent to spirit get 6 Temps.
The hairy-faced Rothel returns his spirit to activity, right above Akemi's head, where he heals both himself, not that he needed it, and the Lyan duplicate. Seeing the trap disarmed he tries to maintain the Faux Lyan's presence. First, the spirit attacks Akemi from above, raking ard with its ephemeral claws, and granting invigoration to the new Lyan. Next, the spirit impresses upon the avenger the faces of those she has killed before, harnessing any guilt she may have.
Minor, Spirit in M16 above Akemi
Minor, Healing Spirit on F/Lyan (Surge+6), F/Rothel gets 4d8 ⇒ (7, 3, 3, 3) = 16, they each get 6 Temps.
Standard, Reparative Spirit on Akemi 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (19) + 19 = 38 vs Ref. damage 5d8 + 9 ⇒ (8, 6, 6, 6, 2) + 9 = 37
Effect: until the EOE, at the end of F/Rothel's turns one ally adjacent to spirit gets 11 Temps.
AP - Each ally adjacent gets 6 hp
Minor, Faces of the Fallen, until EOE, any enemy that starts its turn adjacent to the spirit is weakened until the start of its next turn.

Standard: Baleful Teleport vs FR Fort
1d20 + 21 ⇒ (8) + 21 = 292d10 + 11 ⇒ (7, 5) + 11 = 23
False Rothel takes 23, is dazed (se), and teleported to H17.
Move to H16, drawing OA from FR-A.
Pausing for OA before running FL.
Lyan Hurzin |
Lyan sends False Rothel through a dimensional warp, then chases him through mortal space, drawing a claw from the minion. Meanwhile, his counterpart rushes about in a blur, hitting Akemi far harder than the original can usually manage against a foe.
Ok. Worth it. The One True Lyan:

Lisbarr has decided that he doesn't like people who aren't who they should be at all. He starts whining in an angry sort of way and jumps up and down (As a free action).
He fixes the false Lyan with a hateful gaze and tells him: "You shall be soooo sorry for this."
Penance Compelled vs False Lyan vs Will.

in addition to the damage, if the false Lyan does any damage to anyone before the end of Lisbarr's next turn, the false Rahz-Ack takes 9 radiant damage as an immediate effect.
AnriTheWanderer |
Anri looks extremely annoyed.
"...the Half-orc just performed a backhanded insult, implying I'm dressed as a harlot."
Arc of the Flashing Storm (Movement) (Full Discipline) (Encounter): Anri Teleports to M14.
Anri says to False Lyan, "You are a suitable target for my anger."
Arc of the Flashing Storm: Dexterity vs. Reflex (Encounter)
1d20 + 20 ⇒ (20) + 20 = 402d10 + 10 ⇒ (10, 6) + 10 = 26
Rushing cleats + Power lets Anri push target (if struck) up to 3 squares. He will take a -2 penalty to attack rolls until the end of his next turn. Anri will push him to J13 if she hits.
Edit: That damage roll just became 30. Critical Justice, baby! Rolling Bonus Magic Weapon Critical Damage!
4d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 1, 1) = 9
As False Lyan is thrown by Anri's vicious teleporting palm-strike, Anri says:
"You cannot withstand a Master of the Four Winds."
This forced movement, incidentally, might activate several different powers Akemi has set on False Lyan.
After those may or may not be resolved, Anri will activate Centered Flurry with Starblade Flurry, striking False Lyan automatically with her thrown knife, dealing 7 damage and sliding him to K13.
Lyan Hurzin |
The false Lyan grins as the cleats strike him, staying in place and increasing his own mobility.
Absorb Momentum interrupt, the push is negated and FL's move speed is now 11 TEOE.
However, this trick only works once, so the other slide will work.
He also resists 5 vs ranged and area, so Lisbarr's does 18. Anri's still does 39, so he's now at 5hp.
AnriTheWanderer |
Not so fast!
Because he has negated the main attack's push, Anri is still in Melee with him: this means she uses her normal flurry of blows instead. The cleats + Flurry of Blows means that he is still Slid 2 squares, and still takes 7 damage (it is in melee after all), pushing him (Edit: Changed my mind...) to M15
Anri and Akemi have combat Advantage against him, and Anri gains +2 AC vs False Lyan
Rev DM |
Receiving some unexpected support from Akemi, Lisbarr finds that his handwaving was much more effective than he thought. Baffled by the effects of being missed and then hit by the same attack, False Lyan is in no position to do much when Anri flings herself at him. Headbutting and punchling with a few added kicks, Anri brings the apparation to a permanent end.

He carefully steps back away from the Un-Rothel, as the true Rahz-Ahk moves to stand directly above it.
Claws of the eagle, Akemi can make a basic attack against the Spirit Companion. If she hits it provides CA until the EOMNT.

Well, I believe Anri is next to False Rahz-Ahk. Sadness. Is there a save, or does it just go away if you spend a turn without starting next to FRA?
The half-orc's face reddens as he holds his hands up in protest, "Oh Lady Anri, no. The evil version of me over there and I have diametrically opposite views. My goddess has taught me not to judge anyone by how they look or dress. Indeed, Avandra encourages us to strike back against those who would violate your well-being and freedom."
"Victim-blaming is a particular affront to the goddess because it's used so often by those that maintain the status quo in opposition to the kind of change she favours."
"Yes Half-orc, but you still THINK it. Tell me, my training vest covers everything except my arms and neck. There is possibly the tiniest sight of my collarbone. Do you find the sight of bare arms enticing? Does my neck suggest servicing others carnal desires?"
Anri grimaces as she feels the affects of Rahz-Ahk's presence. She seems to stumble drunkenly, whirling around... and stabbing at False Rahz-Ahk with a vengeance!
Power: Drunken Monkey, dex vs. will.
1d20 + 20 ⇒ (10) + 20 = 301d8 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16 (Divide this in half)
If attack hits, target is slid 1 (+1) squares (in this case to K15). After taking the damage from being hit, it makes 1 basic melee attack against one enemy of choice, with a bonus to the attack roll equal to my wisdom modifier (+5)...and I choose to make False Rahz-Ahk attack himself. (This is a legitimate target for the attack. :D)
If Anri hits, she'll automatically activate her starblade flurry of blows. While she is weakened, it only does half damage (3). She will slide False Rahz-Ahk to J-15 if she hits.
Power: Drunken Monkey (Enc.) (Move): Move your speed +2 (10 squares). During this movement, ignore difficult terrain and gain a power bonus to all opportunity attacks (+5).
If her attack hits, Anri will stumble quickly and obliquely to H-19, acting as flanking against False Rothel. She will invoke 1 opportunity attack from False Rothel.
If she does get a save against the weakening effect: 1d20 ⇒ 18
And if she doesn't: Eh. Oh well.
AnriTheWanderer |
Huh! Well, I've never seen a Shaman in play before. Then again, Anri probably hasn't either, so we might as well leave it as is and have her stare shocked at the fact that it's not hitting itself in a comically hilarious manner.
Anri blinks a few times, and says, "Huh. That thing over there shouldn't have...am I going to need to go back over there? Bah! Things should act like they're supposed to when I hit them!"
Rev DM |
Lisbarr is pleased to discover that his powers are restored enough to hit the fallen false deva.
