The air around the man begins to waiver like a heat mirage as he draws energy straight from the Plane of Fire! After Kardav lands a devastating strike on the Berbalang Argus the paladin gets a running start and jumps up channelling positive energy into his blade he slices trough the ghostly form and it vanishes in a scream of pain.

His wraith form destroyed the berbalang has been forced back into his physical body and severely weakened he also cannot wraith again for 24 hours.


Merius burns two of them but neither falls although he did significant damage.

Need to make an adjustment here. I'd edited the previous post but seems it didn't take. Kardav is after the enemies which is what I realised after I made this post and then I edited it to add enemy actions for the round as well. Basically ignore the above post. will redo it here

Argus the paladin runs up and leaps into the air channelling positive energy and strikes the berbalang dealing a good deal of damage to it.

"You convinced us to go along with your crazy plan so we could be heroes saving the world a second time. Instead we died in our sleep and became the very evil we fought to stop. This is your fault captain we never should have gone along with you!"

Argus watches his men surround him seemingly unconcerned.
"Your right, this is my fault and I will try to make ammends. I will start by putting you all to rest." he says taking a defensive position.

They laugh drawing closer.

The nearby deathknights including the two Merius burned move to surround him while the others move to cut you off.
They attack those at the front the two who were burned going for Merius.

Wouldn't the negative energy from the swords not heal because it's not being channeled to heal only to harm? Normally it'll say in the ability description if it heals, otherwise it wont. The only benefit that Kardav would get would be that he doesn't take the additional damage.


Their weapons deal 2d6 negative energy damage (this is not like channeling at all it's just pure damage) now because kardav is affected by negative energy like an undead this heals him instead of damaging him and because of the kiss from bug eater is the same way temporarily you take the weapon damage as normal but the 2d6 negative is healing instead of damage.

Yeah, I'm trying to focus on the same two Death Knights with each attack. And thanks for the updated map!

More bright blue flames swirl around Merius and seem to envelope his body before abruptly disappearing. There is a second of quiet before those very same flames burst from the ground beneath the two Death Knights that continue to burn from his fiery powers.

Burning Infusion: 1d6 ⇒ 4 Both Death Nights take this damage.
