Excellent question Swen,You all see them before they see you, you can tell the appear to be arguing about something, If you get any closer (I.e) on the first line down the map, they may notice you. Feel free to make any appropriate stealth checks, perception checks or buffs as needed and let me know your plan of action.

Me too. For PbP I think its best if GM does big group rolls.

As Amed and Aurelain approach the other group, Swen hopes they can distract them long enough for her to creep up on the group undetected and get into range. trying to get into position 60ft from the group from the southeast, using trees and brush for cover. Half-speed for stealth.

If things turn hostile, she'll be ready to get a shot in at least.


"Uh.. boss. You said those venturer's were bound to head back this way right.. uh.... boss."

A dull looking halfling fellow with a dangerous gleam in his eye began hopping to his feet from where he sat and drawing out a dagger.

"Damn it! This is your fault Kulp!"

A swauve looking half elf fellow began though his decent looks were totally ruined by the sour look on his face.He held a harp in one hand and pointed at you all walking down the road.

"No matter! Drop your things on the ground including your coin pouches and none of you have to die!"

He began as the others moved to fan out.... well except a young man in chainmail with a greatsword strapped to his back.

"Uh Gretlen.. i thought you said we were going to kill them all and take everything back to our employer?"

He said looking confused.

The half elf bard's shoulders slumped and he sighed.

Drawing her gun as she moves, Ramona gets into better position as she prepares for the inevitable fight. "None too bright are they?"

He began and there was a strage pause for a moment as everyone of the strange folk in front of your turned to stare you could actually see the pointing at you all then ticking off a finger to make sure her counting was right.

The leader... Gretlon you are pretty sure his name is, wasnt looking about.. he was staring directly as the expensively looking necklace on Aurelain's neck.

Amed, full of bravado, begins to twirl his scimitar as he charges the assailant in front of him.

Swen holds her breath as the goon squad notices something is off and begins looking for her. She can feel her heart beating in her throat and decides its best to stay put for now. She draws a bead on the nearest goon assuming thats the halfling and waits for Amed to make a move, expecting him to blather on some more.

Surprisingly, Amed charges forth, and Swen finds herself loosing her arrow.

She curses beneath her breath as the arrow sails high and tries to hide again in the cover of the foliage.

I think you take something like -20 to stealth when sniping Swen.

Aurelain treats Amed move as a signal and charges as well, raging as he does so and attacking the same target.
