Yes. I don't have my item yet. (Shāguō)

hello all, just a post to reassure my interest.

I am sorry about the pre-selection role-play, I really do not do well in those. I just set myself up for disappointment. so I simply make it known hat I am here and interested, and hope for the best.

I managed to miss that business about an heirloom item.

I'll send you a PM about that.

Addendum: done!

Zardu Zuul, I was working almost all the weekend so haven't been able to keep as close an eye as I'd like.

Me!

Lurking. just cant rp with soooooo many from other TZ :P

It seems the old man had dozzed off in the corner for a bit but his eyes suddenly snap open.

"What now?" He looks around a little blurry eyed for a second and then smiles.

"So many people in this place and all looking for adventure." He says to no one in particular.

Well too many people to strike up a conversation I think. Maybe best just to size up the room.

Is it true Swen's gonna be dead in the water if she's not unchained? Is it too late to make that change?

Huh what? Like unchained the charector option? I wouldnt know havent really played with those classes. No ones dead in the water for any reason

The Exchange

Just reading some reviews of the rogue class, the prevailing opinion is that the core rogue is underbalanced, and the unchained rogue is far more balanced. At lvl1 the only difference would be she would gain weapon finesse as an extra feat.

Ive nwvwr played unchained, i have played an awful lot of chained rogue its my 2nd favorite class. *shrugs*

The Exchange

If you will allow it i would like to make the change. If not, no worries.

You definitely want to go Unchained Rogue

The Exchange

It is basically rouge with extra class abilities. Its basically the opposite of the unchained summoner which makes you weaker instead.

Just uh dotting in. Are you still accepting applications for recruitment? New to pbp so dont have much experience but would love to try

Swen I would take the unchained in 3rd lvl you get dex to damage with a single weapon. And at 4th lvl you can debuff the enemy hit by you sneak with less ac or attack bonus. 5th lvl is the true gold with skill unlock allowing extra options with your skills. Disable as an exsample makes it so you never trigger a trap you know is there.

yes you can switch to unchained.

At the moment Mr. Gompers no I am not, however keep an eye out, inevitibly people will drop and perhaps I can give you a holler then?

The Exchange

Yeah the skill unlock is pretty sweet looking.

Thanks the nines!

background:
“Colewin; I’ve said it once before, and I will say it once again. I am NOT working with that awful Undine you keep employed for whatever reasons you have!”
Hektor Berone stands up from the small table in the back of the Silver Chalice tavern. Grabbing his ale with one hand, pointing at his old friend Colewin with the other,
“Now, I’m gonna go for a smoke, and lets just quickly rethink the whole fire and ice shit you’re trying to brew up with this pairing.”
Hektor, a very burly yet swift Ifrit, walks out the front door thinking to himself about how he came to Macridi, all those years ago with his pal Colewin. Lighting his pipe with his finger, as he usually does just because it’s too hard to keep matches on his person without losing them. After taking a deep drag, letting out slowly, he takes a quick swig of his ale and lets his memories wash over him.
As Hektor took up his ideal position as bouncer of Absalom’s ‘Punch Drunk’, a pretty off the map tavern in the Puddles District of Absalom roughly 40 years ago, he knew that he would need to try and learn a thing or two about what it meant to be a taverns bouncer. Once Hektor realized that the clientele of ‘Punch Drunk’ were very eager to keep the long running tradition of beating the bouncer until they quit, alive, he needed to learn fast. After numerous beating by the scum clientele, who never actually were afraid of Hektor’s fiery appearance, Hektor took it upon himself to learn some hand to hand combat. Learning the ways of a Monk seemed interesting, but Hektor was not the religious type, not in the slightest. After noting that the monastery of Sarenrae took in wayward spirits who at least gave a modest donation to train with the monks, Hektor eagerly began to train.
Eventually Hektor learned the ways of a Brawler. Getting dirty in hand to hand combat was something he grew to love. His ability to sneak up on his brawling partners came from his ever vigilance as the bouncer of ‘Punch Drunk’ where being sneaky was literally every patron’s M.O.
One evening a striking young woman came into the tavern and, without even blinking an eye, took down more men than Hektor had ever seen before in the history of his career as the bouncer of the place. The women’s name was Liza Orpan, and she told Hektor that ‘Punch Drunk’ had been on her list of places to ‘clean up’ for quite some time. After letting Hektor know that the money made from the taverns somewhat sketchy ventures were going straight to finance the slave trade in Absalom, Hektor couldn’t live with himself knowing he played a part in this scheme, even unknowingly. Liza told Hektor that if he truly cared for the slaves of Absalom, that he would give up the rest of his life, in repayment to her employer, a former slave himself, Coleman Binderbook.
Hektor took up her offer and traveled to Druma with Liza. After meeting Coleman he fell in love with the man and his crazy ways of doling out the most oddball pairings to Hektor, especially Hektor. That love for a best friend grew and grew until one day Coleman told Hektor that he was getting teams together. Large groups of individuals to take on some of the most harrowing and egregious tasks to date. Hektor thought this would be an excellent time to get back in the game and join back up with the now fully functional and formed Silver Shields.
As the memories fade and Hektor takes another long drag from his pipe, he realizes that any pairing is worth it. In the end, he gave the rest of his life to pay back for the wrongdoings he was carelessly apart of in his youth. Walking back into the tavern Hektor sees the Undine that Coleman was telling him may be a good fit for his group.
“Hey there, so the old man says that we would be good together, I am indebted to this cause till death so, what do you say, friends?”
Hektor grabs the Undines hand and as he turns away from her he finally takes in the vast amount of people who have showed up to help ole Colewin. “Man, that guy has made a lot of friends.”

just in case some people here have not gone to the discussion thread we have started just head to the discussion and find the link to you group.
