I would almost say that is indeed a number, but i've tossed worse numbers at my homebrew group. Granted, they had NPC help and distraction.

Gallix, if you want to have prepped yourself with that potion before combat actually started, I'm fine with it. I think you would have done so anyway if I had an extra post between you approaching the cave and combat starting.

Gallix, a shimmering layer of divine energy swirling around his entire body, attempts to open the rusty gate, then takes a stance to protect his tender-bellied elven friend from harm.

Move to open the gate if possible, then standard to prepare an attack vs any enemies that come through the gate.

Mezodarath is clearly a bugbear, but the unholy symbol of Lamashtu around his neck makes you think he's an evil cleric with the ability to channel energy. Due to his bile ingestion, he has resistances to fire, and cold, and some spell resistance.

"You dare mock me, gnome? GET THEM!"

Short sword: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 121d4 ⇒ 4
The yellow-eyed goblin dashes forward through the gate and Gallix punches him in the face, disabling him. He cuts at the barbarian in a last ditch attack, or tries to, anyway, and passes out from the pain.

Green comes running out behind him, his muscles looking particularly engorged, and he manages a light slice across Uesugi's arm.

Posted that in a bit of a rush, so I'd missed an AoO that Gallix can take from that goblin moving through that square in front. Take an AoO, Gallix. If he's down, Longjing provokes no AoO.

Gallix uppercuts and takes out a second goblin. They never stood a chance!

Mez mocks you from inside the cave. "Hah, pitiful. Let me teach you a little thing about goblins, human. If you kill one, there are at least a dozen more to replace it. They just keep coming and coming. Think of them as plentiful as ants. Do you really think you can kill them all? You will never stop us! And with all of this bile, we'll be stronger than ever! Isger will be ours!"

With that, he steps forward and holds his unholy symbol up. A black aura suddenly envelops him and extends outwards from his body.

The dog runs up to Nixa and chomps for her ankle.

The bite is brutal and its fangs sink deep into her flesh. "Ugh... Foul creature.."

The blue-tongued goblin comes running out of the gate but its blade gets nowhere near Gallix.

And that leaves nearly the entire party up to retaliate!

Sirettis feels the wind pick up as the black aura envelops her. Most of it blows away from her, like dust swept away. This fool worships the wrong goddess. Show him the error of his ways.

Sirettis nods in agreement. She pulls out her light mace and wills Mezodarath to sleep. "We do not need to perform genocide. We only need to kill you."

Uesugi cuts down Goblin the Third as if it were a simulacra.

Nixa holds her sword overhead and with a mighty swing slashes downwards, unfortunately missing the dog and scraping the cave floor.

Alright, D, the blue goblin is down. You can keep your roll, just need to know who you'd like to attack. I'm assuming it's the bugbear. Mr. Peppers also still has a turn.

The Postulating Peppy Peppers steps back looking for a good vantage spot
'Far too many people in front of me how am I to use my wand!' Spotting an open area to his liking he positions himself to get a good view of his target. Pointing the stick he looses a magic missile at the goblin dog fighting Nixa.

D focuses his inner chi and points a palm at Mezodarath. After likely saying something insulting in a foreign language, he lets loose a blast of sand. The blast is intense enough to lift Mezodarath up and throw him against the engraved cave wall, smashing his internal organs.

"Wormgnash will prevail..." are his Final Villain Words™ as he slips unconscious.

"Wow, I've never seen such a powerful attack before. Who are you people?" Nixa asks, with renewed vigor in her voice.

For the first time in the whole adventure, the bile-plagued goblin dog is able to resist the magical nature of Mr. Pepper's force missile.

The remaining rider doesn't like his odds and charges at the lone Nixa at the back of the cave, urging its dog to bite her.

Longjing flies through the fence, doing fancy maneuvers as he turns sidewise to fly through one of the gaps straight at the Goblin Rider. Dragons must sometimes take risks to eradicate evil in their territories.

He then moves through the gate and gets into a flanking position around the goblin dog with Nixa. Once he's in place he pulls back with his fist and lets a huge punch fly.

Longjiing is smacked through the air by the goblin rider's heavy mace.

Gallix's punch connects with the back of the dog's skull and fractures it, but the bile-covered pooch isn't done fighting yet.

Nixa endures another painful bite from the dog as its jaw shuts tightly around her thigh, blood pouring out of the wound. She drops her sword and shield as pain overwhelms her and slumps to the ground.
She is unconscious and will bleed 1 unless she stabilizes

D. walks west, getting a better angle of the rider.

"Little dragon back to Madame Poshkettle NOW!" Uesugi shouts this at the top of his lungs hoping the little dragon is not too injured.

'We are at the disadvantage.'
He scans for an opening to get to Nixa but any path there is blocked by the two mangy dogs and the goblin. He positions himself behind the barbarian mindful to protect the man's exposed flank.

Move and ready attack versus first thing that comes into range. Dog first than goblin

Cup double moves to try to reach Nixa with her CLW wand.

Little Miss Cup continues to inspire the troops as she steps up and slaps her whip at the lone dog's eyes, distracting it for Gallix's next pummeling. Whip, Inspire, Aid Another: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 5 + 1 = 7
Dice Bot not happy Instead she ties the tip of the whip into a knot.. and flails it around to untie it. "How the heck..."

The dog suddenly collapses underneath the goblin as it falls asleep.
"Stupid dog, wake up, longshanks here!" The goblin grumbles at its unresponsive mount.

Mr. Peppers blasts the other dog with a magic missile, it wavers on its feet but the missile is weak enough that it barely manages to fight on. D misses his attack.

The goblin jumps off his sleeping dog and heads for Gallix and Uesugi, his arm extended with his mace in front. Uesugi lops his head off before he can get an attack in.

Gallix feints to his right (though he later realizes he was fighting a dog so...), then takes a quick step to the left, careful to step over the head of the goblin Uesugi just dispatched. He makes two quick jabs at the hound that is still awake and standing on its last legs.

Brawler's Flurry, if attack 1 kills the awake dog, attack 2 goes against the sleeper.

Mr Peppers face goes a bit paler seeing the goblin head separated from its body rolling around the the ground. "Yick!"

Gallix KO uppercuts the awake dog and it joins Mezodarath as it swiftly flies against the cave wall. Gallix then steps over and jabs the sleeping one, smashing some ribs and abruptly waking it up.

The cave's become quite bloodied with dead corpses now littering the ground... and that leaves everyone else except Gallix up for the dog free-for-all!

Also, sorry I kinda ruined the CDG opportunity there. I was kinda hoping I'd just manage to put the first one down gently and hopefully score that crit on the second one. No such luck. Can't complain with those results though.

Mr Peppers readies his wand if the dog tries to bite anyone, then looks to Cup and Sirettis "Save Nixa! My wand is out of order."

Sirettis rushes in, next to the woozy dog and Nixa, unconscious body. She touches the body with her hand. Her hair stretches forward into Nixa, stopping the immediate bleeding.

Uesugi his blade as sharp as ever has no reaction as he cuts down the goblin. With only one dog up he moves over to the slumbering dog and stabs down.
