"Where's your next stop? I can handle that one while you shop."

Marla smiles.
Ashram pockets the list and the money. "Right over there."
He points at a house two doors down.
Alethiro notes which house, "And just in case that one's quick, where's the next?"
"Then the next house too," Ashram says, heading toward the market.
"See you in a few then," The Elf said as he headed to the next house.
Ashram nods and hurries off.
Between the warm soothing comfort of the warm water on her tired muscles, and her exhaustion, Arista falls asleep in the bath.
The Elf knocked on the door.
A short elderly woman opens the door and squints at Alethiro. "Yes?"
"Good morning ma'am," The Elf replied, "My name is Alethiro. I'm from the temple and I'm here to see if you needed anything today."
"Oh, well, I could use some help making my stew today," the woman replies. "The cold makes my arthritis act up."
Stomping the snow off his boots, Alethiro stepped inside. "I'll do my best to help."
Hanging his cloak by the door, "Which way to the kitchen?"
The old woman leads the way to the kitchen. "This way. Can I make you some tea?"
She listens to Sadhana as she goes to get her water. Coming back to the table she refills Rhy and Sadhana's coffee before taking the pot back to the kitchen. Coming back out with her water she sits at the table and nods, "Okay....is it kinda weird that she's feeling a pull coming from the tower? I'm just wondering what your take on it is. I was wondering how far away the tower was again and such. I can get us anywhere we need to go faster, but I want to make sure we're not going to miss Cyna and Sienna's wedding. It's like in five days. Do you think we can check out the caves and the tower and be back in time? Also....we should probably talk to Arista and the others about this and let them know what's going on before we just take off right? Maybe have Fae check out the caves again like she did last time and make sure we're not walking into a trap, or that there are anymore of those pit fiends around?" She had no intention of letting Arista go with them, but that didn't mean they shouldn't keep her informed of what was going on. Bad things tended to happen when there were lapses in their communication with each other.
"It might be a good idea to see if Fae can come with us actually. We have no idea what we might find." Sadhana responds.
She nods, "Yeah...that might be a good idea. So....do we tell Arista and how soon do you want to do this?"
"Yeah we tell her, I'm not going to leave her out of the loop on something potentially important after I've chided her for doing the same thing in the past." Sādhanā replies. "The caves I'd like to check as soon as we can. If there are any survivors, time is of the essence for them. The tower we can do when Pandi's available I guess, I think Sienna said she was joining the Guard so I guess we can see when she has off....unless it feels like it's something immediate." she gives Tesia a questioning look.
She kind of shrugs, "I wish I could tell you....I really do, but all I know for sure is that the protection is back up...but there's just something off about the ley lines. If you want we can go see Fae after we finish lunch and clean up. I know you need to talk to Ammon, but I really agree with you that we can't wait to help them if there is even one that survived. If they like, Ammon and Magestreia could come with us. I can carry up to nine people, so there's plenty of room and we can get there and back really fast and then Ammon can speak to you when we get back. If that's okay with everyone?" She suggests as she looks around to see what everyone thinks of the idea.
"Wait...you're telling me we'll need jobs?" Sienna asks, feigning surprise. "What sounds interesting to you?"
"Maybe I'll take up gardening..." Cyna says after a few seconds of deliberation.
Magestreia shrugs. "I'll help in any way I can."
"You're going to have to warm me up later, love," Ylrhea says to Sadhana.
"Really?" Sienna asks. "I didn't know you had an interest in it."
"I'm not good with people, so maybe I'll do better with plants." Cyna answers.

Sienna tries not to laugh. "You're fine with people. You just need to let them past all those walls you've built."
Sādhanā lets out a little sigh as Ylrhea comments. At least they had this morning....and last night.
"Yeah, we'll talk to Fae after this, and if Lea wants to come along as well." She turns to Ammon. "What do you say? We can always use a strong shield arm and capable fighter. We can talk as we travel if you have any questions."
She nods and gets back to eating her sandwich and fried potatoes.
Rajni and Shamara make their way as quickly and quietly as possible through the forest as they look for signs of any game that they could possibly hunt. She knew it was stupid and childish to run out the way she did, and it certainly didn't help argue her case...but she had been hurt and didn't know how else to deal with it. She needed the time away, out in the cold and the quiet to figure out her feelings and why the things her mother said upset her so much. She just couldn't understand why she had reacted the way she did. They were always telling her that she was an adult and that she could make her own decisions and now they were stomping all over her feelings for Dillon and for wanting to be with him for the rest of her life. They tell her she's an adult while still treating her like a kid...which did they want? It was all very confusing to her as they make their way through the frosty trees.
Rhadaya simply observes the conversation nodding in agreement that it was better to check everything out sooner than later. As she eats she smiles at Tes, sighing happily at the little flutter in her heart that always came when she made eye contact with her wife.
They tell her she's an adult while still treating her like a kid...which did they want?
Catching Rhy's eye she holds the contact just long enough to blush slightly before reaching up with her hand to take her wife's hand she gives it a little squeeze before continuing with her meal.

"No thank you, I'm fine. What kind of stew did you have in mind?"
Setting down his empty cup, "I am more than willing to assist in anyway that I can."
Seeing his empty cup she gets up and retrieves a pitcher of water from the kitchen, refills his cup and then sets it by his place. "In case you need some more, and I'm sorry for knocking you on your butt earlier. I just didn't know what was going on, and in light of recent events felt that I couldn't take the risk." She says in way of apology as she goes back to her seat to finish her sandwich.
Picking up his cup once more, "It is perfectly alright, I understand. Though I will admit you did take me by surprise, which is not something that happens often. So thank you."
She nods while eating her sandwich and holds up the thumb of her other hand with the other fingers closed in acknowledgment.
Rajni manages to see a couple good-sized hares hopping through the snow.

"Chicken stew, young man," the old woman answers. She pulls a couple trays of cut up chicken meat from her icebox. "If you would fetch my cauldron from the closet there. It's a bit heavy for me with this pain."
She points at a door to Alethiro's right.
