At work and can't move, myself but here is my action if someone will move me to the appropriate place to manage it.

With the warning of incoming hostile Cassandra moved into place to block the guards from entering without going through her first. She stayed back enough that she could attack into the doorway at anyone or thing coming in. She felt Innis touch her as she set herself and was surprised to see her hands and weapon vanish from sight.

I intend to have 5 feet between me and the door.

Lililinda slips back next to the snake, keeping view of the area outside. She lifts a hand, and the plants outside seem to rustle in anticipation.

Moving to E5, readying an action to cast Entangle the moment hostiles enter the center of B6a. Like right where the letters are on the map. The spell should fill the yard.

Reaping Stone Campaign: Under Cassomir

Kirzon/Lililinda seems like you are both going to cast entangle. Since it is a 40 foot burst I don't think you are going to both cast it. Kirzon could you like to make another action I think Lililinda usually checks the thread late afternoon. Thanks.

Inactive

Makes sense! I should remember to prepare something other than Entangle next time since Lililinda can cast that at will. Fortunately, there are other uses for that spell slot.

Though about to call on the forces of nature to animate the plants, Kirzon feels Lililinda herself calling forth such magics. Fascinated, he reminds himself to ask about her powers later. In the meantime, he begins concentrating on his trusty eagle friend, Artsiv.

Moved back to where Kirzon was standing. Begin casting Summon Nature's Ally.

Reaping Stone Campaign: Under Cassomir

The party quickly assembles thankful for Cinder's warning. With the doors open they are able to see their opponents move into view. Leading the charge they see a rather large ferocious cat, followed by a tall and heavily muscled humanoid armed with a warhammer. Finally in the back doing his best to keep up they spy the halfling named Haddy.

Quickly Lililinda casts her entangle on the area hoping to slow down incoming opponents and catch them off guard. The cat nimbly avoids the grasping vines and roots and Haddy does not even seem to be phased by it as he hops, skips and jumps past the vines and roots. The large humanoid, however, does not fare so well as his lumbering legs are quickly pulled down by the animated plants. He roars in defiance completely angered at being stopped in his tracks.

He yells one word directed at the cat, "KILL!"

Not my turn yet, but I might not be able to post until tomorrow night. Lililinda will cast Lock Gaze(DC18) on the big bad kitty cat

Reaping Stone Campaign: Under Cassomir

Merelda steps from the shadows of the room and throws her dagger. Not judging the speed of the cat the dagger flies into the hedges along the path.

In the back, Haddy continues running along the path hopeful to get away from the snaring roots but upon nearing the door he slows down waiting for the cat to go through the doors first.Haddy moves 20 ft

Innis quickly pulls a wand from her pack content not to invoke its power yet. She then turns her attention to the little gnome gifting her with small touch of divine presence.

As Kirzon finishes his incantation Artsiv appears right in front of Haddy and in the same instance dives for the face of the cat. The cat not affected by the roots and vines is able to dodge the attacks from the celestial bird. Before the cat can react Lililinda locks her gaze on the cat forcing the cat hold her gaze. Lock Gaze successful. Still the cat somehow manages to swat the eagle to the ground with a powerful claw. Artsiv takes 6 points of damage and is now grappled. DC 20 to break free.

Grappled:
A grappled creature is restrained by a creature, trap, or effect. Grappled creatures cannot move and take a –4 penalty to Dexterity. A grappled creature takes a –2 penalty on all attack rolls and combat maneuver checks, except those made to grapple or escape a grapple. In addition, grappled creatures can take no action that requires two hands to perform. A grappled character who attempts to cast a spell or use a spell-like ability must make a concentration check (DC 10 + grappler's CMB + spell level), or lose the spell. Grappled creatures cannot make attacks of opportunity.

The large humanoid clearly angered rips at the roots holding him down. His frustration gets the better of him and he is unable to tear away the roots quick enough before another one holds him down.

Nicias you can throw one of your bombs if you wish for ROUND 1. Everyone make your ROUND 2 actions.

In the battle between cats and birds, it seemed that the cats had scored another victory. As the cat clutches onto Artsiv, the eagle falls limp and then vanishes, returning to the Celestial Plane. Fortunately, Artsiv will suffer no permanent harm.

DM Screen:

Female Elf Inquisitor (Preacher) 2 | HP 18/18 (Fast Healing 1) | Speed 30ft | AC 17, touch 13, FF 14, CMD 15 | Fort +3 : Ref +3 : Will +5 | Judg. 1/Day | Sud. Shift 5/day; Determ. 0/day | Init +7, Per +6, Sense Mot. +7 | Note:

Stepping back into view next to Cassandra, Merelda smirks and casually casts a simple acid cantrip at the big warrior!

Acid Splash RTA: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 3

Enough of this crap...Using my Determination(Aggression) ability to re-roll this attack. This uses up my one Determination for the day.

Acid Splash RTA: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15

Much better!

Reaping Stone Campaign: Under Cassomir

lol Merelda your rolls are pretty awesome in this campaign :)

Kirzon and Boros maintain the same strategy as before, waiting by the cover of the doorway to strike the enemies should they approach.

Innis continues to wait out the fight, she offers Kirzon a blessing of defense then slinks back to keep out of sight.

Reaping Stone Campaign: Under Cassomir

The orb of acid burns the humanoid shoulder but he does not back down. He continues hindered by the grasping roots but determined to beat Cassandra to a pulp.

He moves forward and Cassandra's glaive is steady enough to tear into his arm. He roars in pain only then to be assaulted by both Kirzon's axe and his deadly constrictor ally. While Kirzon's axe misses Boros is able to sink his teeth into the thigh of the creature and begins to quickly wrap around the humanoid.

Not to be kept from his true target the humanoid swings his hammer at Boros. The swing while powerful lacks any coordination and he completely misses. Haddy moves up and attacks the snake but the ward that Innis placed on Boros easily deflects the blade.

Lililinda, Cassandra and Nicias. Your Turn.

DM Screen:

??? hammer: 1d20 ⇒ 8
??? damage: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
Haddy: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (15) - 2 = 13
Haddy damage: 1d3 ⇒ 3

Sovereign Court

Moving to a better position, Nicias lets loose another Frost Bomb at the humanoid:

Hopefully Boros is too small to give cover

Touch attack Bomb at humanoid: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
to confirm crit: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 Yeah, right

damage if hits: 2d6 + 5 ⇒ (1, 6) + 5 = 12 plus fortitude or be staggered next round

DC17 Reflex on Haddy or 5 points splash damage

Using precise Bombs to exclude Kirzon and Boros (and anyone else that moves into the splash zone)

Lililinda slips up to the corner of the door and reaches past Kirzon, aiming for the big guy's thigh. "Let's see how ticklish you are..."
Using Laughing Touch
Touch: 1d20 ⇒ 8 [ooc]Likely a miss, unless there's a buff I forgot

Crap! Knew I missed one this morning.
With two foes now in range Cassandra had a choice to make. Ultimately she chose to strike at the same target as before with a much more powerful stroke.

glaive with PAtk, shaken: 1d20 + 8 - 1 - 2 ⇒ (6) + 8 - 1 - 2 = 111d10 + 4 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 4 + 3 = 8
