The guardsman on the left waves you through and mumbles something under his breath while motioning with his hand. As you pass through the gate a weird feeling momentarily hits you. There is another guard on the other side that guides you further in.
After about a 5 minute walk, you are told to wait in an anteroom while the guard passes through a door on the far side.

Isaac Dumont |

Isaac waited patiently contemplating his next move. Perhaps he could end this needless bloodshed. He hoped he would not need to plant the contract, that the sheriff could be reasoned with.
Though Isaac was also a realist, and understood that at any moment it could all go horribly wrong. Each step had him planing an escape rout. His ability to bend space opened up paths that the guards might not think of. He noted all of the arrow slits in the wall, all he needed was to be able to see his destination.

After several minutes, the door opens and the guard motions you into the other room.
Another 2 guards are within, along with a man seated behind a solid oak desk. His immaculate riding boots are resting comfortably on the desk as he reclines. You think he is in his mid forties and appears to have lived the life of a well of soldier, the years have been both hard and good to him.
"Gentlemen I am told you have information for me about the rebels who are resisting progress and prosperity."

Isaac Dumont |

Indeed, compared to the Turandy's cities this must seem like a back-water. If I were you I would not want to stay here. Though if you manage to rid this city of the resistance it could mean a promotion which would mean a relocation, perhaps even to the capitol.
Isaac was careful not to play his hand until he knew the mesure of this man for sure.

Browman |

"This may be a backwater, but at the same time an opportunity. All the best contracts, mines, shipping rights, land, ect in the civilized parts of Turandy are already claimed. While here those with the right capital and knowledge can set themselves up to become rich men in time.
Anyways down to business, What knowledge do you have about the rebels?"

Isaac Dumont |

"I have met with some of the resistance "Leadership" if you can call it that. They are loosely affiliated and hardly share any common bond or goal. They pose no real threat yet. Much scarier is what I herd from a Turgan priest hiding in the woods..."
Isaac made his way to the wall of the room, letting his had run along the wood.
"My family used to own a castle very similar to this. Do you have rat problems? because we did. My family tried for years to get rid of them all, they would try to kill them and starve them out. All it ever really did was drive them deeper into the keep and insure that only the strongest and smartest survived.
I on the other hand decided to pick a section of the castle they could do no harm and... and I fed them. Soon they had forgotten nearly all of their survival instincts and were fairly harmless."

Browman |

"Mmm, yes a trap. I like it. Present them with such a juicy target that they have to go after, yes, yes."
He reaches behind him to pull on a rope, which rings a bell somewhere inside the castle.
"You have been very helpful gentlemen. I am sure the fruits of our discussion will be obvious in the coming days."

Isaac Dumont |

Isaac knew that men would be coming to escort them out soon.
"one last thing before we go. I witnessed Pathad's fall first hand. It started long before any Turany soldiers ever crossed the borders. A rot ate it from the inside out and made it weak and ripe for the picking."
"If you simply kill them all then another generation will rise in their place and learn from their mistakes. If you take them now, while the are stupid and imcompatent you may be able to tame them."
"I would never presume to tell you what to do, just food for thought."

Isaac Dumont |

Isaac found the room, shut the door and began to pull for some magic. All he needed was something simple, just a distortion of perception. He found it and sounds sprang to life.
ghost sounds
The room was filled with the sounds of himself having a rather rough time at the bathroom. Isaac shrugged, he never really did care what people thought of him.
He began to search the room for a way to slip out. He knew that the most secure area of the castle had to be up. Anything would do, a window or even just a crack in the wall.

Himonim Perse |

Our tea is the only true tea Isaac.
This resistance is not fully coordinated as of yet, from my determination, but if you do not change your ways the ideal of resistance and freedom will persist, and you will never rid yourself of this.

Elrith |

While the others Head for the castle, Elrith will go to town to look around. He looks for anything out of place in an occupied town, and if he finds anyone that could use some Clerical ministrations he will do what he can for them
Perception for anything out of place: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
Perception for anyone needing healing or treatment: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17

[dice=Perception for anything out of place]1d20 + 7

you notice that the town appears to have a smaller garrison than you would expect, the people appear to be in decent shape if a little hungry.
