All of you have gathered in the village of Nostan, which has around 300 people that live there. The village is located in northern Pathad about a day from the river Ustil, the main river in Pathad. It does not have a permanent garrision of Turandian soldiers but the occasional patrol passes through the village.

You have heard that a wagon loaded with supplies, arrows, bolts and booze is passing along the main road to Thebis, one of the larger towns in northern Pathad that is a day and a half north on the shores of lake Pathon. What information you have suggests that the wagon has a pair of Turandian soldiers and a driver.

Hp 33/33 AC 18 / 14 / 14 (+5 Perc; +5 Init; Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5)

Taliesin had heard about the news about the wagon and he figured that he could deal with a pair of soldiers, and the prize was a wagon full with supplies and weapons. it would make a splendid fist for those who wanted to rebel.

With that in mind he had prepared himself and had gone over to the spot he had located to be the best ambush point.

Male Elf Cleric 1 (Merciful Healer)

The rebels needed the supplies, so attacking the wagon was a foregone conclusion. Elrith, knowing of the ambush, found some shrubs to hide behind. Hopefully he could prevent any deaths this day.

Given that she was looking for entrance into the Resistance, Dara figured this might be a good way to gain their attention and trust. Figuring out the route of the wagon, the Dwarven rogue located the best site for an ambush. But she wasn't alone, it appeared there were others. Silent as the night, she moved up to the Half-Elf with spear on his back. Taliesin, if it wasn't clear.

"Here for the wagon as well?" she asked quietly.

Male Human Wizzard 1

Isaac, moved slowly across the road until he stood at the entrance to the village. More weapons and violence, I'm sick of this.

He waited patiently for the wagon to come.

Joroth studied the road, although his patience was coming to an end. The heir had to be found and made to sign the contract!

"Well then, with the two of us, this should be short work." Dara whispered back as she pulled out her shortbow and notched an arrow. "The name's Dara and what is your na... what is that man doing standing at the village entrance?"

Hp 33/33 AC 18 / 14 / 14 (+5 Perc; +5 Init; Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5)

he is probably the official sent to greet the wagon. Either he will run away or he will die. it makes no difference. As for my name, it doesn't really matter, just call me whatever you want. he whispered back

Male Elf Cleric 1 (Merciful Healer)

From his place in the bushes, Elrith eventually spotted a few ambushers, they were hidden pretty well, and had no doubts what their intention was.
But who was this man just standing at the entrance to the village, was he going to help the soldiers or was he the distraction for the others.

"Show me what you got, then we'll give you a name."

you see the wagon rolling down the path, a guard and driver in the front with a second guard in the back, both the guards have scale mail, short swords, shields and crossbows.

Hp 33/33 AC 18 / 14 / 14 (+5 Perc; +5 Init; Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5)

How long before they reach our ambush point?

The 1/2 takes three vials from a small ouch and sets 2 of them next to him. He pulls down on his face a full mask that has 3 small openings.

Joroth, i have no idea where you are , what you look like etc... Dara and i are hiding someplace not too far from the road and we haven't seen you or made any kind of contact or even know you.

Whispering to the dwarf, i am no good with ranged weapon, therefore i'll take out the front guard, and then the rear one if you miss him. Watch the suspicious guy at the entrance of the village. Any other people coming into view. Shoot first ask questions later.

And with that last sentence he rapidly take in succession and drinks the content of the 3 vials. The last one seems to have quite an impact as his body grows into a taller person.

Sorry my laptop keeps losing the wireless and deleting my posts.

Taliesin steps out onto the path and guts the front guard. Moments later the oracle steps forward and turns the ground beneath the wagon into an angular mess. Taliesin then steps towards the second guard skewering him on the longspear.

Hp 33/33 AC 18 / 14 / 14 (+5 Perc; +5 Init; Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5)

Taliesin still masked will look for anymore sign of trouble or any threats to his well being.

There is a driver who is scared out of his mind with a Turandian soldier bleeding onto him.

Male Elf Cleric 1 (Merciful Healer)

Elrith will cast stabilize on the fallen guards, in case they have not died yet hope to stop needless killing.

no they are both very dead, it is what happens when a large, mutated person goes against a pair of low level guards

Hp 33/33 AC 18 / 14 / 14 (+5 Perc; +5 Init; Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5)

Taliesin will motion to the driver to run on the opposite direction of the town.

He will then motion toward the spot he left. a lance motion that looked like an invitation to come.

Male Human Wizzard 1

Isaac's eyes went wide and the edge of his vision went red. He saw it all, almost as if it moved in slow motion. Too late for him to do anything about it.

"NO!" He shouted in a rage.

Isaac charged forward toward the wagon. Running right up to the edge of the lances reach and then vanished into nothing, only in the same moment to appear next to one of the corpses.

Frantically trying to help, what is now obviously a corpse.

Dara's eye's went wide at seeing the transformation, and didn't fire upon the driver, due to being stunned. The man at the gate rushed forward, screaming 'NO!' Returning her arrow back to her quiver and stepped out.

"I got just the name for you. Beast." The Dwarf said as she walked up next to the large Half-Elf, looking up.

Hp 33/33 AC 18 / 14 / 14 (+5 Perc; +5 Init; Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5)

Taliesin still masked will keep his lance in a ready position while carefully eying the elf and the human who has vanished into nothing then reappeared.

after the dwarf talk he will just look at her and raise his shoulders.

Male Human Wizzard 1

Isaac eyes the contents of the wagon, looking for anything combustible.

"So, bandits eh?"

Male Elf Cleric 1 (Merciful Healer)

Moving Forward, Elrith says"Pretty brutal wasn't it. Do you always slaughter so...I don't think they were that much of a threat to you. By the way, the name is Elrith, cleric of Canda." Bowing slightly " If they had lived, we might have convinced them that they were on the wrong side, and they might have gone home to see their families again."

the rather large masked men, reduces to a rather normal size. He look over to the dwarf, nods. then goes over to peer into the wagon and check's for its content.

once that is done, he will walk the horses into a new direction then hand over the reins to the dwarf, pointing with his spear into a direction. Then lightly slap one on the horse to tell him to move forward.

DM, i am going to use my survival skills to drive the wagon outside of the road toward a secondary back road that we could use about a day of travel. ie "escape route".

Once the wagon is underway with the dwarf riding it, the masked men will take the 2 bodies and will dump them on the side in a hiding place not to be seen on the road.

Should anyone object he will ignore and continue his action. One the bodies have been disposed, he will run back to where the wagon is.

The plan is for the wagon to be tracked by wouldbe pursuers then to loose then arriving a a forest, hill, rocky, river, area. Where the masked plan to use the terrain and his survival skills to hide the tracks made by the wagon.

Should any one attempt to follow him, he will make a no no signe with his lance a few time. But if not threatened he will not attack.

A little bit before arriving at the designated disappearing point he will motion with his spear a stop, a break for the horses to relax.

he will lightly tap on the dwarf's shoulder and make a head nod toward the people that are still here...

A voice suddenly emanates from the bushes, in Elven-

Spoiler:
"We appear to have the same goals"

An elven man of moderate build emerges from the bushes. Across his back is a longbow and he wears a tunic over what appears to be armor. There are two quivers upon his back, and two weapons on his waist (morningstar and longsword). He stands 6'4", eyes of almost pure black that seem to stare into your being, hair of yellow with reddish tints, moderately muscled and he moves very fluidly. He walks with the grace of his kin.

After observing the remnants of battle, he addresses the group from about 10 ft away.
"I am Himonim, and I believe we fight for the same cause, in essence. Should the heir be placed as the rightful ruler again, and the elven people walk with him (indicating himself) we will be in a better position than we once were. We believe equality was not complete, and we will seek proper representation within the new government. The Turandians are invaders, and my people are very familiar with such a fate."

Isaac stood up. There was no way around the carnage. Each side of the conflict would only become more and more violent until all that was left was death. Isaac needed to find a way to stop it.

He listened to the interchange of the elf and the human. The idea of an heir brought new hope to Isaac. An heir could not be very old, they had all been killed off. Probably just a child being used.

Isaac made a subtle movement of the hand and said the word that called forth a pinch of magic into his hand that traveled up into his throat. It carried his whisper out into the wind and directly into Elriths ear.

Whisper spell to Elrith:
“I have casted a spell that allows us to talk somewhat privetly. If we are to make a better world this is not the way to do it. If the rebellion matches blood for blood then we will just be propelling a new cycle of hate and fighting. If we don’t perform this rebellion correctly then all we will have succeeded in the end is changing the crest on the flag and leaving a pile of bodies in our wake.”

“We need the ear of the rebellions leadership to make changes from the inside out. My name is Isaac, just whisper to talk back”

Male Elf Cleric 1 (Merciful Healer)

Seeing Himonim appear and introduce his self, he returns the greeting. "Greetings Himonim." Turning towards Joroth "Yes I have heard rumors of this heir, and the supporters that rally to him. It is what drew me to this area. And you would be?"

In Elven:
Now be nice to the dwarf.

Whispering back to Issac:
My Original intent on coming out this way was to try and save as many lives as possible with my healing skills. I hadn't thought about changing the rebellions leadership, I think that is a grand idea, if we can find them, do you think we have what it would take to influence them and make the changes you speak of.

He then Climbs aboard the wagon, to meet these rebels and see how things might go with this...this...interesting bunch.
