Elrith |

"Ahh We have agreed to disagree and no one is dying today. Let us take shelter and rest and have some food."
Looking at Joroth "I'm not sure how well you contract would work, from the terms you described, he would be suffering the price after he told someone about us,and then it be too late."
Elrith Channels positive energy "Feel the healing warmth of Canda."
Heal All: 1d6 ⇒ 3

Dara Shadeshard |

Dara looks straight back into his, pats Joroth on the cheek, and replies, "Keep telling yourself that, Hellfire. What ever helps you sleep at night."

Elrith |

"To Zealots, no of manner pain would stop them from doing what they believe is the will of their god."
And to Loran "Thank you for the food. But I must also disagree with your statements, We elves have no intention of enslaving anyone, me personally am here to try and help people survive what could become a bloody conflict. Have you seen me do or hear me say anything to the contrary to what I say? "

Joroth Korthin |
A diabolist is one who has studied the lore of the nine in depth and would be far more powerful then I, if you actully want to sound intelligent I advise reading up on the arcane and magic in general. If you even know how to read that is.

Isaac Dumont |

That night Isaac gratefully accepted the food and drink, staying up into the night to listen to whatever Loran wanted to talk about. The cat moving between both of their feet. Isaac tried his best to listin carefully and not preach his own position but rather ask leading questions about Loran's.
After all was said and done he sat in the corner of the hovel writing into some parchment he had in his pack, then folding it up and sealing it into and envelope. Once done, he quickly made his way to some well needed sleep but the entire time the cat's eyes were on him, sleep would not come easy.

Himonim Perse |

Hominim is strangely silent during the exchange, seemingly watching and contemplating. He seems wary of Joroth and wathches him as he leaves.
He assumes a position facing the doorway with an arrow notched and longbow in his lap.
unable to concentrate on this, too much work today. I'm still here

Himonim Perse |

Elven
4 hour trance is required, no hard work, and spells replenished (for elrith) after 8 hours. I need 4 hr trance so the shifts can be split. What else is an elf to do once they have the requisite rest?

Himonim Perse |

With Elrith's pledge I begin my trance longbow in my lap with arrow notched.
When I am complete with my 4 hours I will monitor those inside, paying special attention to the "priest" and Joroth as I make rounds around the perimeter.
Taking 20 on perception during my watch (total 21).

Dara Shadeshard |

Dara will take one of the shifts in the between Himonim and Elrith.
While on her watch, she reloads the dagger into the wrist sheath, rewinding the spring mechanism.

Elrith |

After a good rest, hoping he remembers not to startle Dara again,Elrith heads outside to look for Joroth. After looking him over to see if is fine "Morning Joroth, Hope you slept OK out here, so did you have plans to seek this heir, and if so any idea where he might be. Oh yes there is food inside you should make sure you eat some."

Joroth Korthin |
Cleric I have little time for happy, cheerful people that won't help me in achieving my goals. As for food I can do without, I have in my forced servitude to the cursed paladin king's bloodline endured much. And I intend to ensure that the heir pays for all of insults and abuse that my family has suffered. The heir will reclaim Pathad, but the heir will be a ruler only in title. It will be a fitting revenge to see the paladin king's bloodline made powerless...we might even summon the old paladin's spirit to watch how low his bloodline has fallen.

Elrith |

"If the world had more happy, cheerful people, there would be much less suffering in the world. Have you met this heir? has he or she personally wronged you? You should make peace with this anger Joroth, it serves only to promote suffering, the world has enough of that. I know not of the wrongs of the past against your family, just that revenge tends to lead to senseless violence and bloodshed usually of innocents having nothing to do with it. Please think on this and may the blessings of Canda heal your soul as she heals your body." and then heads back into the cabin, to see if anyone else has other more "happy" plans, and hoping Joroth can make peace with his family demons.

Himonim Perse |

I had the last shift so I was present and awake for the proceedings between Elrith and Joroth and Taliesein and Dara, and Dara's spring action dagger.
When the masked man appears, "Ah, so where are we headed? You seem to be the guide in this area."
To the priest: "Thank you for the meal. Rest assured Elvenkind has no wish to conquer or enslave anyone. Truly we wish to live in peace with the land and others. Fare thee well."

Himonim Perse |

To Elrith returns from the wagon:
Elven

Taliesin Flamel |

The masked men will walk a few steps with dara toward the house then, he will head off toward another direction at a small jogging pace.

Dara Shadeshard |

Climbing aboard the wagon, Dara shouts out, "Alright everyone, it's best we get gone. Beast will meet up with us later." Once everyone is on the wagon, the Dwarf steers south, south east for about an hour, then halted and waited.

Taliesin Flamel |

Taliesin will tread way after the wagon i order to conceal its tracks
ps: to all other character: Taliesin will not show up again until he meets up with the wagon when it has stopped. So just tell me when you are ready to resume after the wagons stops.

Himonim Perse |

I thought Joroth was outside by himself and away from folks...not sure anyone else would have heard the conversation by the wagon
I was running an assumption, may have overstepped my bounds. I wasn't stating I knew the conversation, but with how Elrith has been observed he would likely talk to Joroth about his actions. I retract the question and we move on.
I climb onto the wagon, resume my post watching the rear with quiver around my foot, and a few arrows resting on my foot, scanning.

Taliesin Flamel |

The masked men shows up about an hour after the wagon stops.
He gives the all clear signal to dara while approaching.
he stops 15ft away from the wagon his spear in his left hand and some sort of vial in his right.
So i have been told you all had a very lively night. Well since we all are here, i am going to take this little rest i need to hear you all. Some of you are looking for someone, other to stop bloodshed and the rest of you i have no idea what you are here. But my biggest question to you all is how do you plan on achieving your goal. Do you have any lead to that specific someone some of you are looking for or are you just going randomly asking each an every person if they are the One?

Isaac Dumont |

I'm hoping to end this bloody occupation, but the right way. I fear the never ending cycle of revenge, it is rot that will eat this entire nation away if we let it go. The guest last night was proof enough. I planed to do my best to stop the killing... I figured I was bound to find resistance members. Now I hear talk of an heir, perhaps someone I can talk to.
Isaac tried to picture in his head the line of succession. He had never cared much but he tried to remember who exactly he had seen killed and who he had just been told was killed. There were too many gaps in knowledge to make a guess.

Isaac Dumont |

We call them on their crimes. We capture the worst offenders and use fair public trials, a few spells make this easy and quick. When they steal money from our people we steal it back for the people, not ourselves. We bring the people justice, not just our people but theirs as well.
Most of these invaders did not make the choice that led to them coming out here and no man yearns to leave his homeland. If we simply kill them then we will only be giving them a reason to want to stay and fight. We give them reason to leave without giving them reasons for staying.

Taliesin Flamel |

you really think that will stop the invasion? the fact that this once independent country is now ruled by Turandia? Currently there is no more Pathad judicial system. All the prisons are controlled by Turandian official. Public trial would just be shut down by turandian military. Who does appoint the public trial? are they professional judges or not? if they are professional who do they obey or report to? where do they take there reference from? Pathad law or turanian law? Should they pass sentence? if it is not a death sentence where do we send the prisoner? who pays for all the expense of a prisoner his food, his clothing, his guards?Currently all city officials, all those decision regarding that small problems are in Turanian hands.
The turanian military invaded our lands. they put the turanian bureaucracy in control of all aspect of government. The somewhat peace and administration of our land resumed then the turanian settlers came and purchase land, homes, created business and anything that they needed to make a life for themselves, out here. They our closing down our church and are replacing them slowly with their own god. The common man be he turanian or pathad is the same in either country. their only concern if for their immediate needs. Most would probably stay in the event we take back these lands.
you see your plan isn't a plan at all because it lacks the fundamentals of society. You are probably smarter and more learned than i am, after all you are a wizarly type. But you have never studied the principle of society.

Joroth Korthin |
Your high minded methods will cause a bloodbath to the people of Pathad foolish wizard. What is needed is the Korthin's family's connections...if the heir is willing to pay the price. For nothing is free, and the heir's bloodline has reaped what will soon be the heir's curse. For it is high time to exact retribution upon the throne by dealing the greatest insult an enemy can suffer. To be ignored, for once the contract is sealed House Korthin will have a vast territory in which we can do as we will. For I will ensure that House Korthin has rights in the new kingdom of Pathad which allow us to ignore royal edicts, laws and customs at our whim. If the heir breaks the contract by trying to enforce these rules upon House Korthin, the heir does not just condemn his or her own soul to the hells...the heir also condemns all of his or her descendants for eternity.

Isaac Dumont |

Spells of truth are easily cast. They shouldn't take any time at all, the government isn't everywhere at all times. We don't need to be the jury, in fact it is better that we aren't. It's about showing people that we are right, and not just forcing it down their throats or we are no better then they are.
We must elevate the people, only when the entire populous is against them and resistance rips apart their corrupt infrastructure will they really be beaten. Every man we kill is a martyr, and 10 more will rise to avenge him.

Joroth Korthin |
Tis obvious that you have never studied the planes wizard, if you had you might know what an archdevil is. And what forces such a being can command. For that is from whence our power comes and the power of the nine is mighty.

Dara Shadeshard |

"Settle down boys, flared tempers get us nowhere." Dara stepped in. Looking at the sun, she continued, "We should probably get moving. I think I might know a place."
