Crimson Tress
Sorry, I thought my last attack roll would still count. ^^;
Snarling like a tigresss, Tress slashes at the nearest Orc within reach -- but alas, the opponent is wily enough to dodge.
Attack roll 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 for 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 damage. Drat. ]:(
Thaane
Tress's attack misses the orc. It responds with a two-handed swing of it's falchion.
attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
confirm crit: 1d20 ⇒ 7
damage: 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (1, 1) + 4 = 6
The Orc's fierce blade slices Tress in the shoulder deeply and then he growls in delight.
Thaane
Another orc launches a javelin at Verrin hoping to skewer him.
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14
Again meeting the sandy floor of the desert.
The last orc charges Khartelosch, falchion swinging wildly.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
Penetrating even his protection ward, Khartelosch feels the burning sting of the sharp blade against his flesh.
2d4 + 4 ⇒ (1, 4) + 4 = 9
9 points of damage on Khartelosch and six on Ibrah
Thaane
Both S ilvash and Lilly let arrows fly at their aggressors, slightly missing them.
Thaane fires his pistol at the orc with the spear.
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 2
Grazing the arm of Ibrah's opponent, Thaane wonders,
Did they run out of falchions?
Khartelosch
Khartelosch attempts to use his reach weapon to down his charging foe before the orc can reach him.
AOO: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24 damage: 1d12 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
After the bleeding pig cuts him, Khartelosch backs up five feet and swings again, taunting the orc in his own language "Well done, pig."
Ice: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16 damage: 1d12 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Ibrah Narishtahir
Kart, your AoO threatened a crit. You might have killed the orc with that and then been able to chase down another one.
One orc attacks Ibrah with a spear.
Piercing his side somewhat shallow.
spears do not have reach, so
As the Orc tries to pass Ibrah's glaive to make his attack, Ibrah reflexively swings his blade at the orcGlaive AoO: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
but his swing goes wide and the orc gets through.
Ibrah takes a 5-foot step back, so the orc will have to get by his glaive another time in order to attack him, then he begins shouting advice to his companions. there's an opening there -- watch how he lowers that Falchion -- no, numbskull, not like that -- etc.
Standard action to begin giving Advice(ex). It functions like a bard's Inspire Courage: +1 to saves against charm and fear, and +1 attack and damage. Since my turn is before Kart's, he should benefit. It will be a free action to maintain on future rounds.
As he does so, he glares at the orcs. These must be the ones.
Swift action to activate Judgment - Healing. He will recover 1 hp/round until the combat ends or he uses another swift action to change to a different Judgment.
Verrin Kord
Verrin steps up to the nearest orc and dances his blade around the savages crude falchion.
attack1anddamage: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 231d8 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
attack2anddamage: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 241d8 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Thaane
Verrin thoroughly destroys his opponent by nearly dicing him into pieces.
Ibrah responds to the spear attack with a swing of the glaive that narrowly misses the creature and Khartelosch makes quick work of his attacker dropping him hard to the ground.
Thaane
One renegade orc, confused by Thaane charges the orc that attacked Ibrah with the rusting blade of the falchion.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
He makes a frantic swing and misses the equally confused orc now flanked by Ibrah and his unlikely ally.
Crimson Tress
Snarling, Tress attacks the nearest available Orc, her scimitar flashing in the sunlight.
Attack roll 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18 (add 2 if I'm flanking one) for 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 damage.
Khartelosch
"Go foolishly to your maker." Khartelosch says over the orc's remains. He glances around to find the nearest orc threat and moves in to attack it if he can in this round.
Ice: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13 dmg: 1d12 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Thaane
Tress slices one of the battling orcs severely.
The orc responds with a swift swing of his falchion.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
The orc is confounded by a blow that would seem to strike true being averted by some invisible force.
Thaane
The charged orc responds to his former ally with an overhead stab of the spear towards him.
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Catching him slightly in the shoulder on the way down.
The orc by Khartelosch savagely swings his giant blade around in an attempt to cut him in half.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Missing greatly the orc snarls in anger as the party remains puzzled by the aid of an ape-like monk, an orc who turned on his comrades and an odd human donned in black leather looking more like undeath than life, fighting so fiercely together yet unaquainted.
Thaane
Lilly's arrow grazes the orc in melee with Khartelosch adding nicely to it's scar collection.
Silvashes arrow goes wide again.
Thaane attempts another shot, this time against the orc in melee with Khartelosch.
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
It proves to be a mistake as he is much closer to the previous one and the bullet bounces of the rock outcropping some 500 feet behind them.
Verrin, Ibrah, Khartelosch. Round 2 for you.
Khartelosch
"There is little honor in running away, it's true, but there is less honor than dying here for your corpse to feed the scavengers where no one will remember your name."
Khartelosch sees the opening in the orc's defense, takes a five-foot step back and swings his lucerne hammer around for a punishing blow...
Ice: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20 dmg: 1d12 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
... that becomes more of a love tap.
Verrin Kord
Step up to the pair of orcs next to Ibrah and attempt to down first one then the other if he is lucky enough.
attack1: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 71d8 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
attack2: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 191d8 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Or I suppose I could roll badly instead :)
Ibrah Narishtahir
Ibrah continues to give out advice, they are nearly beat -- strike hard and true -- etc.
Free action to maintain Advice.
Seeing Verrin come to attack the orcs, Ibrah circles partially around them to stand opposite Verrin.
Move action to adopt flanking position for Verrin. Ibrah is still 5 ft. away, but since he is using his Glaive he threatens (and flanks) at that distance rather than adjacent. If either of the orcs move adjacent to Ibrah, or further away from Ibrah, they will provoke an AoO. Ibrah can make up to 3 AoOs each round.
Ibrah waits for the right time, feeling luck welling up in him. Lure them out or chase them to me--give me an opening.
Standard action to use Bit of Luck. Until the end of his next turn, anytime Ibrah rolls a d20 he can roll it twice and take the better result. This includes AoOs, of course.
Healed 1 more HP with Fast Healing Judgment.
Thaane
Khartelosch and Verrin each make quick work of the warring orcs providing more fodder for the wolves to feed on. One really confused orc remains and he begins to shake his head as if waking up.
Even among the party there are strangers. The dire wolves make quick work of the orc corpses eyeing the adventurers next, lost in a sort of blood frenzy, they begin to circle the party to find the best position for an attack.
The pasty, wet and pungent figure has an air of confidence about him, or maybe just an unconcern for death.
He reloads his pistol quickly and then shoves his hand slightly in the air and says Hello. I am called Thaane.
Verrin Kord
This seems to be a very busy stretch of wilderness
Verrin leaps sword first in to the middle of the wolves to draw their attention and allow the others clear shots and flanking.
Tumble: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 191d8 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
The 23 AC is likely makeing me a bit over confident :)
Crimson Tress
The first wolf to make the mistake of approaching Tress is treated to a faceful of scimitar. Tress' expression remains businesslike and cold.
Attack roll 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 for 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9 damage.
Khartelosch
Khartelosch growls at the dire wolves, warning them to stick to the dead prey or become prey themselves.
Not sure how to handle that without wild empathy, but he does try to combine handle animal (+7) and intimidate (+9).
Handle Animal: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
If they fail to heed his warning, like Tress, he strikes out at the first one to come within reach.
Ice: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13 dmg: 1d12 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
It seems this dog is all bark and no bite!
Ibrah Narishtahir
How many rounds have passed since my last action? Just wondering how many HP I've regained while the wolves circle us.[/oob]
When the orcs went down, Ibrah ceased giving advice. [ooc]4 rounds left
Ibrah moves to block the way of the wolves, should they choose to strike, and uses Bit of Luck on himself again.
I think that's been 3 uses now, so I should have 5 left.

You are correct. 3

Lilly follows that up with an arrow to the neck of another wolf narrowly missing it's main artery, and seriously weakening the beast.
Thaane quickly confirms in his head that he has 24 bullets in his bandolier and two in the pistol before releasing one at the injured wolf.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
confirm crit: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Thaane
The wolves begin their orchestrated and instinctual attacks.
One wolf attacks Tress.
bite: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8 plus trip.
I believe you get a CMD roll to avoid trip which provokes an Aoo.
Another wolf goes after S ilvash.
bite: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
confirm critical: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25
damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
The third wounded one gnashes teeth before lashing out at Thaane.
bite: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
The last one tears after Lilly.
bite: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
Lilly escapes the maw of the beast while Silvash is not as lucky.
