Youall are slightly ahead of House Caedmon and further ahead of the other two. It won't kill us if there is a delay, but delays have a way of derailing pace which I dislike.

For general clarification, I am allowing you to pick up just about anything you need from local shops whenever you travel outside or from the frazzled elf at the gates as long as it's cost isn't over a few coppers. Things like that are good for story, like the kittens and the cheap wine.

I have noticed (and gotten friendly comments on) the posting speed disparity and would like to propose something that I think may help this group maintain a healthy level of interest.
We could split the group a bit. Those who prefer a faster pace would explore the more detail/post intensive areas of the plot, while the slower posters deal with less intensive aspects. There are important but in each so one group wouldn't be the "main" and able to solve it without the other.
I would like opinions, ideas, and feedback on this idea.
We could always try.
One immediate problem I spot however is my own 'postability' or posting speed. Sometimes I have decent amount of spare time or work at a computer and can check in every thirty minutes or so, other times I only have time to check the threads in the morning and evening. Another problem is my European time zone. No matter how interesting it sometimes get - and my own wishes to be in the fast group - it might grind things to a halt if I'm asleep when the posting picks up pace, so I'm probably more fit for the slow group.
The more active posters tend to post in bursts.
I try to moderate myself when I'm on a manic posting streak. :). But then I can get distracted and barely get my 1/day...
The main reason I don't post is simply because I don't know what to contribute.
Korrith - Don't worry so much about what you're contributing. In cases like waking up, just ask yourself what your lizard would do and, if you're feeling literary, try to describe it fully and colorfully such that it gives some window into the character and his thought process.
Pelgrev, for example, just dumped a bucket of cold water all over himself. This goes along well with his persona so far of someone raised far from civilization. Zayid rolled out of bed still clothed. Why did he do that when there were bedclothes provided? Does anyone really notice? These all present a nice visual for the reader and plenty of mental notes or possibly conversation hooks, should you wish to pursue them.
It doesn't have to be "substantial". It just has to be honest to the character.

she does give Korrith the cold shoulder alot.
Prepared casters: Please note your prepared spells in your alias. You can use the Strike thru ([s[...[/s[) to denote expended spells.
Also, please be sure your stats are in the class/race bar for my reference, please. I do most of my posting via IPhone and navigating away to check stats can sometimes cause a loss of what I've typed.
If you're willing, DM, (and I gather from your post that you are), I'd like to try it. Zayid and Pelgrev have already established a bit of rapport, so maybe they and Freia could split off to take care of one thing while Noro, Korrith, Johnny and Arianna take care of something else.
I am willing. The ship's rosters need investigated, so "group 2" (noro, johnny, korrith, ariana) will investigate the results of the Blood Biography while "Group 1" (Freia, Zayid, Pelgrev) investigate the ships rosters and manifests (as that will require more posts).
