Thribden Malkut Diniya |

What are we waiting on?

Shiori Kaijitsu |

The reach weapon makes it hard to fight in these small rooms too, there is nowhere where he can stand that he can attack with it currently.

MiniGM |

Shiori takes a sword to the thigh dealing two damage and the other goblin swings at Darinius then tumbles away, to open up for the goblin on the throne to attack Two more arrows fly at the hated human Gorou, one sticks in his armor and the second strikes his neck dropping him unconscience max damage and favored enemy human
One longshank dead, now kill more!! The goblin screams

Narissth |

More than a little concerned, but unsure what else to do. Narissth continues to fire.
Attack-longbow@#1: 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 6 + 1 = 26
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
The arrow flies true, but lands only a glancing blow.

Shiori Kaijitsu |

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17
Shiori tumbles into the corner and attacks one of the goblins (#9).
Dagger: 1d20 + 3 - 4 ⇒ (20) + 3 - 4 = 191d4 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2 Crit threat! Also, -4 for defensive fighting, AC is 18
confirm: 1d20 + 3 - 4 ⇒ (3) + 3 - 4 = 21d4 - 1 ⇒ (4) - 1 = 3 but not confirmed

Darinius |

Hmm, looks like we need some smackdown on the guy with a favored enemy. Judging from the map I can reach him.
Darinius stabs at the goblin king on his "throne".
Attack #1: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9

![]() |

Darinius, I think you get an AoO on the Goblin King, since he shot at Gorou whilst being threatened by you. In fact, you may get two AoOs if you have combat reflexes, since he fired twice!
As Gorou falls, Exiel steps towards Gorou to catch him, then seeing that he has fallen unconscious reaches for his Nodachi instead. (move action, and will drop club in hand as a free action)
"I'll just borrow this for a moment, just till you're back on your feet."
Taking a 5ft step towards the nearest goblin (south 5ft to goblin 7), he raises Gorou's sword and takes a swing.
Attack roll:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Damage:1d10 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Thribden Malkut Diniya |

Thribden steps past Exiel, looking down at Gorou, I'll help you in a moment my friend. Her voice sounds wistful, but then she looks up at the goblin "king," her voice becoming hard, आप मेरे दोस्तों को नुकसान पहुंचाया है. अब तुम कीमत का भुगतान करना होगा. Her hands move in a strange pattern, and she finishes by pointing at the goblin.
Cast "Cause Fear" on the goblin king. He must succeed on a DC 14 will save or be frightened for 1d4 ⇒ 3 rounds. If he succeeds, he's still shaken for 1 round.

![]() |

Just noticed that I got a crit threat (thanks to expanded Nodachi threat range), so here's my confirmation roll. =)
Confirmation roll:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
Damage:1d10 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Oh and I declare smite evil on the Goblin King, just in case he decides to do something nasty to me.
+4 AC vs Goblin King
+1 damage vs Goblin King
+4 to hit vs Goblin King

MiniGM |

Kill human with long stick!!
2d20 ⇒ (6, 16) = 22 two arrows fly at Darinius, one slamming into his chest this provokes for You Darinius
1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
#9 attacks Darinus with his blade 1d20 ⇒ 4, but Darinius bats it aside. #7 attacks 1d20 ⇒ 12 and slices down his ribs for 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4, and Darinius slumps to the ground.
the goblin cackles madly. Next the girl human!!
Go Heroes

Narissth |

While the others are taken out one by one, Narissth once more attempts to hit the big goblin.
Attack-longbow: 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 6 + 1 = 22
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Stupid vermin, stop hurting my friends. Squeaks Nari.

Thribden Malkut Diniya |

If memory serves, there is one unconscious goblin and the three in the corner, I also believe the big goblin is the only one having been hit. If I'm wrong, then I want to do a different action than below. Otherwise:
Thribden presents her holy symbol, channeling healing energy and excluding the unconscious goblin and the big goblin.
Channel positive: 1d6 ⇒ 5

Shiori Kaijitsu |

Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
Realizing that the Goblin "King" is running out of arrows, Shiori tumbles over next to him, and attacks!
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21 Unless the small goblins have CMD 16 I make it past them
Attack the Goblin King: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 151d4 - 1 ⇒ (4) - 1 = 3

![]() |

Exiel regards Shiori with respect, amazed that she would dive into battle just after hearing the Goblin King declare her their next target. Anxious to avoid having her thoroughly savaged by the goblins, Exiel raises Gorou's sword and brings it down on the goblin before him, desperately hoping to bring it down before it can take another swing!
Attack roll: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Damage Roll: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

![]() |

Shiori's attack clangs off the armor.
Exiel drops his goblin and might have killed it, if he confirms
Let's find out.
Confirmation roll:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
Damage roll:1d10 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
In either event, since it is down, and assuming Thribden goes through with her channel, Exiel will hold Gorou's sword out to him with 1 hand (as a free action, regard it as dropped if need be) and draw a club with the other (move action).
"Welcome back, trooper! You dropped this!

![]() |

MiniGM, have you factored in Thribden's channeling? She excluded David Bowie (i.e. the goblin king) and goblin 8, so goblins 7 and 9 will get healed for 5hp each, along with everyone in the party.
-->This should mean that Gorou and Darinius should be able to act this turn, though they start off prone and unarmed.
That said, I am holding out Gorou's sword to him with 1 hand (and wielding my club with the other).
On the reasonable-chance that goblin 7 also revives and proceeds to do something that provokes an AoO from me (like trying to stand up or pick up its weapon), I'll roll my AoO in advance:
AoO attack roll:(if any): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
AoO damage :(if any): 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
If Thribden is not channeling after all, then disregard this post. It just looks like her channel had not been taken into account yet since neither Darinius nor Gorou have posted actions for this round. =(

Thribden Malkut Diniya |

Sorry, had class, them getting children down for bed. I'll keep the channel action.

MiniGM |

Goblin 7 does indeed wake, he draws his dog slicer as he stands and stabs at Darinius
1d20 ⇒ 5 but it is not even close...edit I see that there is an AOO, it drops
#9 attacks Shiori 1d20 ⇒ 20 to confirm 1d20 ⇒ 18 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (2, 3) + 2 = 7
The goblin king does a rapid shot, which does provoke from Shiori, and Exiel, and only from Darinius if he picks up his weapon, but that will also provoke[/ooc]
2d20 ⇒ (16, 17) = 33
One arrows slams into Shiori 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8 and she drops, the second arrow flies at gorou who has just stood, and deals 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
You get up I kills you again!!
Go Heroes...sorry Gorou

Shiori Kaijitsu |

Disarm AoO: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 EDIT:I Forgot I can use weapon finesse since I attempt to disarm with my dagger, still a failure.
Shiori attempts to disarm the goblin king as he fires off an arrow at her, but she drops her weapon and then drops to the floor.
Stabilize: 1d20 - 4 + 1 ⇒ (9) - 4 + 1 = 6
On her turn, Shiori continues to bleed.

MiniGM |

I am not sure Darinius. that is what happens when actions with possible retcons are posted, and then there is discussion on it. It gets confusing, if you would like to claim that you stood up last round, that is fine, but it would have provoked. just moving on to keep the game going. The goblin is out of arrows, so this is more of less over

Darinius |

We'll just say I ready to stand up when #9 no longer threatens me. That's the least retconny thing at this point I think. This is why even tactical discussion should go in the discussion thread.

![]() |

Unfortunately, I wouldn't have been able to take an AoO on the goblin king 'cos I already used it on re-clubbing goblin 7...and apparently killing it dead.
And I really do NOT want to find out what those arrows do...
Tired of seeing the goblin king consistently take down his fellows, Exiel steps up to the goblin king and snarls, "you're tangling with me now, worm."
Smite-evil-with-club!:1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23
Smite damage:1d6 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
Posted stuff in discussion thread.

Narissth |

The rat hiding in the corner continues to aimlessly fire at the goblin king.
Attack-longbow: 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 6 + 1 = 21
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Like shooting fish in a barrel. Really ugly fish.

Thribden Malkut Diniya |

Thribden moves forward, reaching out for the goblin king.
Bleeding touch attack.
Melee Touch Attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17
Bleed Damage (1 round): 1d6 ⇒ 1

Shiori Kaijitsu |

stabilize: 1d20 - 5 + 1 ⇒ (9) - 5 + 1 = 5
Shiori continues to bleed away her lifeblood.
