Time of Day: A divine spellcaster chooses and prepares spells ahead of time, but unlike a wizard, does not require a period of rest to prepare spells. Instead, the character chooses a particular time of day to pray and receive spells. The time is usually associated with some daily event. If some event prevents a character from praying at the proper time, she must do so as soon as possible. If the character does not stop to pray for spells at the first opportunity, she must wait until the next day to prepare spells.
Typically dawn is the time of day divine casters get spells.

I don't know, scrolls are fairly cheap/ 25gp for 1st level. The chain shirt is worth 50gp, that's 2 scrolls of clw. A trained locksmith(expert) is 3sp per day, if we need someone to open the locks on the doors.
I have 5sp and 9 cp so can't pay much , but I can cover that. XD

I can handle the locks on the doors. I think we should prepare to rest in place as returning to the market above will become problematic quickly.

As saranrae is the dawnbringer, sunrise is an appropriate time to recover spells for dusty. So we don't have time to rest really. Then lets continue.

Sorry folks, but I'm afraid I'm gotta have to leave the party. As the last few days have shown, I am not able to keep up. Work is hell at the moment, and it's not gonna get better soon. Sorry!

Yes Setesh looks very nice. skills are good, and another arcane ttpe hitting as well. Back story is good.
questions
Does this character really have three archetypes? better check.
Is it a twenty point character or a fifteen point character?
If all that is good, it has my vote.

            Hi guys :-)
To answer Dusty's questions:
1) Yes, he *does* have three archetypes - this is one of the few situations where three archetypes *don't* replace any of the same abilities. That said, I am happy to reduce it to two :-)
2) Yes, he *is* 15 point buy.

After going back through the gameplay thread, I have come to the conclusion that we are operating under a false assumption. I couldn't find anywhere that it said we had to complete it in one day. We had to wait to start, but the only other time restriction was that we had to completely explore one site before being given directions to the next site. I vote we go to the inn rest all night and return in the morning. After retrieving Faisal of course.

A inquisitor or ranger would be useful, the inquisitor more so I think. Id'ing these monsters would be useful. OTOH the ranger would give us a front line fighter, which we need.

Oops, so because of the order in which I did things in Hero Lab, it had inadvertently left me as a Half Orc / Garundi, and thus given me Osiriani as a language for free. That's not actually how things work, so I backed out of things, did away with the Garundi, and moved a skill point from a Knowledge skill into Linguistics, so I could actually take Osiriani as a language. I think I'm legal now!

Ok, I can see the map!
Can you guys please bring Setesh and me up to speed? What's the mission? Go in and scout out some small dungeon? You guys got beat up a little? 2 deaths? 1 runaway?
I gather there was sort of a 1 day time limit, but we're about to go into our second day?
How much more dungeon is there to clear?
We're competing with other NPC groups?
What's the goal? Just to survive and get what we can, or are there specific artifacts we're after?
What's the reward?
Do we have friends? Enemies?
Are there rules?
Do we have a writ or charter?
Did we pick a team name?

I'm also a late addition, replacing a barbarian at one time.
The premise , I believe is that Wati has opened up the necropolis for legal' looting. Each site is assigned by lottery, and you can't go to the next site until you completely explore the previous one.
The barbarian died, then the previous alchemist died, our skill monkey left.
The 1 day wasn't a hard limit, but apparently the other teams have to wait for us, so there may be bad feelings.
Not knowing how big it is, we're not sure how much is left, However, the false sarcophagus that tried to eat me was empty. We still haven't found the body of whom the tomb was designed for.
Not competing so much, other groups have their own assigned sites.
Not clear on the goal so much, find some loot, respect the dead, bring any info about the tomb back, anything we can find really. destroy undead as they are abominations?
Keep what valuables you find?
....but apparently the other teams have to wait for us, so there may be bad feelings.
Also respect the dead, no vandalism, I don't remember them all there were 3 main ones I think. might wanna read the 1st few post to see.
Not sure of a charter, but...
We are apparently registered as the Mithral Scorpions?

            Also as a note,
we should enter as if for the first time, there will be consequences for leaving over night AND we left the door open so no telling what might have wandered in....
On that note we need more alchemists fire and acid flasks if anybody can foot them or has them. I keep seeing the scarabs from the Mummy, shudder...
