So today I started working on a Psionic city, known as Aeon. I was wondering if anyone wanted to do a psionics-focused campaign based in that city. Gameplay would be sandbox-oriented, and you will undertake missions for various people or the state. I'll post more details if people are interested.
|IMPORTANT|
ALL Psionic classes are available and recommended (look them up on the d20pfsrd). You can use an original Paizo class, though you will need a good reason to be in a psionic city.

@Eldon: yes, of course.
@Zaarbuc: go for it! However, in Aeon, most half-giants work the forges. Military and the like is reserved for humans. Doesn't have to stop anyone; it just means other races have to work harder to get far.
Level will start at 4, since almost everyone has requested it and it is needed for certain character ideas. Trust me, I would know. ;)

I'll come in with interest on this, since there've been a couple games that have slowed down, and recruitments I didn't meet the deadlines for or didn't get selected. I'm thinking some variation of soulknife, since I enjoy that class immensely.
EDIT: I especially like elans. What's their position in Aeon, and what does the current council favor in the way of appearances?

Almost all of the high-ranking leaders are initiated as Elans once they reach their positions. The current council generally likes to make them look rugged, with occasional scars, to make the people trust them as their leaders - even if they bribed their way to the top.
@all: Discussion thread is up. Also, please post your characters, if you can.

@Anyr: POSSIBLY, though you will have to explain in your backstory why exactly you are in Aeon when you know Arcane magic.
His current concept is that of an experimental arcane Elan. One of the noble houses wanted to create a new type of Psion, which would be able to convert spells into psionic powers. Unfortunately, they only managed to make the opposite: A Wizard who could add psionic powers to their spellbook. This result was condemned as a 'perversion' by the council, and they cancelled the project. The prototype Elan was grudgingly allowed to live, albeit as little more than a slave of the state. Mass production of such creatures is of course out of the question; But this particular one has proven useful enough to keep around.
How does that sound?

Both, really. I might start a new Recruitment thread once I feel comfortable running the City - it's almost done. Also, I am not doing a table top game with this - none of my group is interested in psionics.
If you REALLY want proof that I'm running this campaign, I can make the Gameplay thread - but that would require people actually posting characters.

That actually matches up incredibly well with how the City is run.
Glad to hear it. I'll start working on a full sheet for him.
It would make sense for the Elan to have been created by House Alphonse.
Then he was.
Perhaps he would appear as a child, since he is 'unfinished'?
We seem to be thinking along the same lines. I tend to picture him as looking around 13 years old.
