Xien |
"What Lady?" Xien looks at Frederick confused. "The Aspis Consortium are surely preparing to go against us, so better if we leave through an unpreviewed place. This garden door seems a good much. We better prepare to leave, drop everything we got but the book. Those locked things from before "
Jory Redcap |
Jory retrieves his crowbar, sets it, and helps someone force the door.

Xien |
Xien gets Jory's intent and pushes with all his strength to open the door.

Then the paladin goes into the garden trident at hand ready to help the party escape through the back-door.

Hinrik Larsen |
Hinrik takes his wand of mage armor out and taps himself with a charge from it.
"I'm ready to move out.

Todric Callaster |
Todric watches it all quietly, then says.
"Let's hold onto these locked boxes until just before we leave. I know that the Aspis will falsify evidence to implicate others. Once they're dealt with we can take what's ours and go."
He then gets ready to follow Xien and the others.

GM Baerlie |
Xien and Jory open the double door to the garden. Or at least they tink it's a garden. Actually it's a grennhouse.
This humid, half-domed chamber is filled with greenery and flowering plants of every description. Murky, pale green glass runs between a network of thin, vinelike iron ribs. Large planters throughout the room hold verdant trees that reach nearly to the ceiling more than twenty feet above, and potted flowers burst forth from beautifully glazed ceramic vessels in a riotous explosion of vivid color. The shiny, gray metal doors to the west are smooth and polished, free of the sigils found on the manor’s other exterior doors, but six gems, each of a different color, grace the right door’s otherwise smooth surface in a seemingly random pattern.
I think you already expected something like this ^^
In the greenhouse are four people. Two men looking the same, like twins. A sorcerer woman and a half-elf tinkering at the door on the other side of the room. "We heard you on the other side of this door. We know that you found the real Manual, if you Hand it over to us you may leave this building alive." the woman demands while the two fighters in front draw their swords.
Xien |
"You are not Grand Lodge commanders, aren't you?" Xien asks while readying his trident and casting protection from evil on himself.
As a swift action, the nagaji then points to the man in front of him calling his god powers to smite the evil of the creature.
Protection from evil: +2 AC deflection bonus, +2 resistance to saves (+1 because it doesn't stack with +1 cloak of resistance) against evil creatures and other effects
Smite (green): if evil, +3 deflection AC (total 27 because it does not stack with the spell), +3 to hit, +5 to damage
Lucian, Dervish of the Dawn |
Lucian prepares himself for the coming battle, drawing a scroll of bless and, if given the chance, casting it. "They most certainly are not, Xien." Lucian says, laughing at the enemies threat, "It seems you've angered my friend here, so I think it is you that should be making a hasty retreat."
Hinrik Larsen |
Hinrik remaining quiet at the back. A frosty aura beginning to appear around his fingertips.

Jory Redcap |
Jory had been around magic-users that could vaporize groups of people with one spell. He wasn't going to let that happen here. And the paladin was invoking the powers of good against these people, they were probably evil.
At this level of his training, cover meant nothing to his ability to target things, so Jory fired at the sorcerer with deadly aim. His first arrow was a thistle arrow. He concentrated so he could fire faster and make his first arrow count (ki for extra attack, perfect shot on first arrow)
If the sorcerer falls, the other arrows hit the other guy in the back.

Xien pierces his trident in Shem's chest and the man drops to the ground bleeding heavily. Xien's attack with his spiked shield hurts the other twin, but the man is still standing. Further he intimidates the alchemist in the back of the room.
The half-elf delays until somebody moves into the room. "Let them move in so I can use my bombs!" he says, from his voice you can tell that he's a bit nervous.

I'm really sorry about the delay in my posting. Yesterday was the 1st birthday for the Scottish Pathfinder Society so I've had my hands full sorting the birthday party alongside free RPG day. I'm back to normal now.
Hinrik reaches out to Todric, his rime coated hand touching the warriors rapier. In response, the blade itself covers with a layer of magical ice.
Using one use of my Cold Steel ability to give Todric's rapier the Frost property for two rounds (it deals +1d6 cold damage per hit.)
GM Baerlie |
I totally missed the thing with Jory's arrows. Sorry for that!
Jory shoots four arrows at the sorceress and all arrows hit their target dropping the woman to the floor. The last arrow Jory shoots at the alchemist in the back. Lucian casts bless from his scroll while Hinrik covers Todric's blade with a layer of ice.

Jory Redcap |
Jory starts firing at the alchemist in the back, trying to take him out. His training allowed him to fire without provoking any attacks from foes.
He chooses a thistle arrow as the first one, and concentrates on putting it on target (perfect shot). The rest of the arrows are normal arrows. All are aimed for maximum effect (deadly aim), and fires another with another reach into his amazing inner forces ki for extra shot.

GM Baerlie |
The alchemist is weak, he fell after the first arrow :D
Jory shoots four more arrows. Three of them hit their targets. The first arrow hits the alchemist and the half-elf drops to the floor. The third and fourth arrows hit the last man standing, but those two arrows are too much for the fighter and he also drops, with pain in his face, before he falls unconscious.
combat over
Jory Redcap |
Jory does not always blame the followers, but he believes on making sure those that call the shots are held accountable, and finishes the sorceress off with a single arrow at 5'. Jory takes the arrows out of the sorceress, wiping them off and saving them for later. The others, he feels, may have just been doing what they were told, something Jory respects.
"Evil mages cannot be trusted to learn their lesson. The others may have been just doing what they were told to do."
Jory considers making it very hard to allow magic to bring the sorceress back. That may involve taking her corpse with him and not letting any minions recover it.

Fredrik stabilizes the survivors and says a last rite for one of the twins, but Jory decides to shoot a last arrow in the sorceress' neck to make sure she will never be braught back to this world.
On your way out you search the remaing rooms swiftly. The tree rooms on the other side of the artrium are also guest rooms, nothing to find there. The rooms to the north west are the master's bedroom, bathroom and a dressing room filled with fine clothes and Lady Passad's perfumes and cosmetics. You also have a short look at the garden, but you remember not to step on the grass and prefer to take the main exit.
When heading out of the manor Po congratulates you and tells you that his master will be very pleased.
You have no trouble hitching a ride with an eastbound caravan on its way to Katapesh after securing both the Mutani Manual and cantankerous scholar.
Once back in the Lodge of Katapesh you are closely questioned during your debriefing. "Did you take any forbidden items from Ghenett Manor?" Yuul asks.
You of course receive no gratitude from Besai, who has nothing but petty and caustic criticism for your skills and conduct.
