Seeing Lucian stopping in front of the door, Xien asks "What is it? What have you found Lucian?"
I will assume Lucian explains what he has seen and open the spoiler in previous post
"Oh god! A trap under the safe if we open the door? Such dangerous thing! Good you spotted that" Xien makes a sign so everybody gets out of the dangerous area, and then carefully opens the door from as far as he can with his trident.
Once the trap launches and the pit is open, he goes through the now open and free door safely into the next room.
I hope I properly understood the trap and this work for all you
The nagaji helps checking the next room as good as he can.
Perception aid:1d20 + 0 ⇒ (13) + 0 = 13
If the trap launches the safe plus the two statues next to it drop into the pit. And the safe is not a room, its just a cabinet. It's the grey square in the corner of the room on the map.
Xien opens the door with his trident and triggers the trap. The safe and both statues drop into the pit which just opened in the corner of the room. the pit is 30 ft. deep
Xien quickly checks the room, but it's empty. The hole in the wall looks like something bursted out of the room, but whatever it was is either dead or gone.
After checking the room Xien lowers Todric into the pit. The door of the safe is now easy to open.
After Jory declares the door as safe, Todric opens it. Inside the safe you find a ring and regular clothing, three fat volumes of business transactions of the past 3 years, and a pair of iron lock boxes.
"May I have a look at what you found?" Bensai asks.
Disable Device box one DC18:
Inside the first iron lockbox are three small bars of platinum (worth 1,500 gp each) and four withdrawal slips, each made out for 2,000 gp, which is currently deposited at the Embelliada Bank in Katapesh.
Disable Device box one DC20:
You find a thin volume bound in purple-dyed leather containing the details of clandestine business dealings. Under the entry for 20 Abadius of this year are the name Besar ibn Matarit and the sum of 2,700 gp for “consulting fees, services rendered.”
"I would not like to bash the box open. We shall respect the house interiors as much as possible" looking frustrated to the party "Has any of you access to some spell able to open them?"
As for continuing decision the nagaji points to the door to the right "Perhaps we can continue the exploration through the central room, that might be the access"
Note, never go into a dungeon without a ready explorer in the group :P

We need to open them. Who knows where that cursed book is... If Jorys arrows dont open the boxes, Fredrik uses the same trick with the adamantine sword to open them.

"Wait, let's not be too hasty. These boxes are small. We can finish our search, and only open them if we fail to recover the book elsewhere. I'll carry them in my pack for now."
Xien nods "I agree with Todric, for all as we know, we might still find the keys. I would not mind to smash the boxes, but we were specially commanded to harm the house as little as possible"
With that the nagaji carefully checks the next door and if clean he opens it.

That boat already sailed. Fredrik says looking at where the save used to be. As things are any trap we find we will have to spring. The more we search this place the more damage we will make. If the book is inside one of these boxes we can pack up our stuff and go home right now. That would be the least amount of damage we could possible make.
Bensai has a look at the chests. "I saw the original book, Passad waved it in front of my face. The book is not small enough to fit into one of these chests." he says.

Jory opens the door to a library. This serene library features three great bookcases eight feet tall running the length of the room, stuffed chairs and a sofa, thick-piled carpets with a subtle design, and three elaborately sculpted marble lecterns in an eastern alcove. Heavy double doors occupy the west wall, crafted from darkly stained oak with gold fixtures. A huge crystal chandelier hangs from the ceiling twenty feet above and glows with magical light.
The center and southernmost lecterns both display fat, open tomes, entitled Geography and Wildlife of the Mwangi Expanse by Thaddeus the Wanderer and The Sonnets of D’Laedalis the Bard. Both volumes are exquisitely bound and richly illuminated. The northernmost lectern is empty, though the dusty outline of the ghost of an opened volume is plainly visible.
"The Mutani Manual Passad waved at me matched the outline’s dimensions exactly." Besai says.
Perception DC30:
The floor at the empty lectern’s base is slightly scuffed.
"That is most interesting certainly..." Xien approaches the lectern and touches where the book should had been, playing with the dust for a moment "Whom shall have taken it? The Aspis Consortium? Or it was just somehow hidden..."
The nagaji gets to the other lecterns and opens both the Geography and Wildlife of the Mwangi Expanse and the Sonnets of D'Laedails the Bard, trying to make sure they have not disguised the Mutani Manual Passad as one of those books.

Fredrik and Greymantle search the library but don't find the book. But what they do find out is, that the floor at the empty lectern’s base is slightly scuffed, like something heavy was pushed or dragged across it.
"It might be that the other group took it, but I don't think that Passad leaves the treasure visible to everybody." Besai says.
"Most weird..." Xien moves his head up where the thing was dragged trying to see if there is something in the ceiling.
If not he kneels in front of the ground and starts hitting the tiles without breaking them, just trying to guess if they move or something might be behind. He tries to pick up the tiles to see if there is something there "Are you there manual?" he asks.

Maybe a trap door under it, help me move the lectern. Fredrik says and searches it for traps or mechanisms before trying to force it asside.

DC 20 Knowledge (arcana) or Spellcraft:
The symbols are ancient Azlanti glyphs traditionally placed on the sarcophagi of royals, warning of “cacophonous moral denunciation” for those who disturb the burial.
Xien opens the new container and whily praying for Nalinavity's protection a trap triggers. You hear a shout which so loud that the chandelier at the ceiling scatters. Xien's ears start to bleed as he hears the heightened sound, he gets also hit by the chandelier's razor-sharp crystal-shards.

Hidden in the compartment is a 14 inches tall, 10 inches wide, and 4 inches thick book, bound in red-tinted leather, and features an embossed pair of nunchaku on the cover. Under the book is a small locked chest.
The book’s contents are written in an archaic dialect of Tien script, but the beautiful illustrations leave no doubt as to its pedigree.
Linguistics DC30:
You are able to translate the text of the book and you can confirm that the book is authentic.

Fredrik moves back into the room and casts some of his healing magic on the paladin. That was very brave master Xien, thank you for your sacrifice. May the goddess bless you. He looks at the book. Can you confirm this is the book master Besai? I dont read Tian.
Once, almost, fully healed Xien walks towards the northern doors and steps out of the building to check the garden while his comrades certify the authenticity of the manual.
Perception:20 + 0 = 20
If there is nothing interesting in the garden, the nagaji goes back to the main chamber and picks the remaining door to the north "I would love to give a lesson to those Aspis Consortiums before leaving"
Provided some of the other members follow him, he opens the door after checking it.

Bensai takes the book and has a look at it. "Yes, this is the real book. It is written in a rare language and also the pictures look unique. If you don't mind, I take the book."
