I am now imagining two departments in this rebellion. One side is the side we want everyone to know about.
I think that at the start, everyone knowing about us is not something we want. I'd say we should keep a low profile at start and focus on secrecy and gathering supporters.
Once we've done that, though, we could definitely use a group for "sending messages": going around just dropping guards off roofs would probably attract too much attention, but smearing on the street that one guard captain that color sprayed 12 year olds is definitely something we should do later on.
That may also be a way to find the "good cops": from what I've read in the player guide, the Dottari are basically Kintargo's police. With Cheliax being Cheliax, I don't doubt that there are a lot of LE Asmodean Satanazis, but I'm sure we could find some LN guys too. Having supporters/spies in the force is definitely something else we should try to do once we've become powerful enough.

Game Master Scotty |

you will have a variety of options as to how to proceed, but for the moment focus on making it through the first couple hours.
it is the blackthorn needing to make an attack and then the bad guys get to go, I do believe I will work on maps here in the near futureas this is more confusing than I had anticipated.

I agree that it's premature to start drawing attention to ourselves. We aren't even officially a rebellion yet! But some day... some day.

Also I can now picture Abby and Arani playing that Guess Who game with headshots in that one Living Dead movie :3
so we have snipers and good guys, cleavers and airmail droppers..... and lil ol me the mad bomber? (eventually) sounds fun. I need a U2 tape i think... and a boat to live in.

Mirais |

The Order of the Torrent were the good cops...
Uh, I'm not very informed on Cheliax stuff, I thought Hellknights were something separated from the police, and have to go trough crazy training to join an Order? Doesn't the average guy that goes "Hey, I want to avoid people stabbing each other in dark alleys" join the Dottari, and not the Hellknights?
@DMMamushka: As I said a couple of days ago, just ask if you need help with maps! People usually either use an excel sheet like I linked before, or do like YBD and use icons on a map. I'm pretty sure that you can extract those from the pdf without much problems.

Posted my attack a couple hours ago. Gunk arrow.

Hellknights will almost universally stab you in broad daylight and in the face, not in the back. They are very lawful neutral as an organization and take the Hell bit from hell's ordered armies, not the evil of it all. They are generally ethnically chelaxian, but are not a part of the government and are sometimes at odds with it.

Zev Kelevra |

Order of the Torrent being a good example (JJ has said I believe that they've never had an Evil member)
Order of the Rack however are pretty much pure evil torturers and history revisionists that answer to Thrune.

Game Master Scotty |

currently at work I will post combat actions when I get home to my computer. But it would be safe to assume your current foesare no longer a threat.
the next item of your concern will be what are you going to do now, the guard are goose-stepping 5 feet at a time to drive the crowd off, and the people are screaming fleeing away as quickly as possible.

Mirais |

I think that after chopping someone in half, running away ourselves could be an option.
However, how is the rest of the crowd doing? Are the guards "showeing away" dispersing or "chopping away" dispersing?

Game Master Scotty |

the guards are screaming and yelling at people to leave, using their shields to push people away and people in the crowd who appear to be overly by honor being walloped by morning stars. in game they're using a combination of intimidate checks bull rush with their shields and lethal attacks with the morning stars, the attacks are not meant to kill but they're absolutely meant to be painful.
The women,Nox, pulls the dagger from her throat and flings it to the ground and yells at the guard she wants this crowd cleared before the blood on it dried

Arani Thorindal |

I'd say yeah, we want to encourage the smart ones to flee, maybe slow down any possible pursuit.

Zev Kelevra |

Stuff like this makes me miss the flash-bang grenades from Dragonlance.

Arani Thorindal |

I'm sure our resident alchemist can eventually come up with a way to combine Flash powder and a Thunderstone. Just a matter of our DM coming up with a craft DC.

Arani Thorindal |

Canacha they have Magical Plutonium!

Zev Kelevra |

If we're going that far just get some Viridium arrowheads while you're at it.

Arani Thorindal |

o_O
Pulls out arrow with arrowhead wrapped in lead lined bag.Everybody run!!!

Arani Thorindal |

That would be reserved for the recurring big bad so that in book 4 he's already half dead from radiation sickness. lol

Arani Thorindal |

Because Nox treating a blade in the neck like a minor annoyance isn't scary enough.

Arani Thorindal |

LMAO!!!!

Arani Thorindal |

Just waiting for other people to post before I take another action.

Mirais |

So, instead of just killing them, you want them to die a slow death from radiation poisoning.
Any other sugges...plans for your enemies?
Well my prospects in Save or Sucks are Decerebrate and Fuse Flesh: the first teleports a chunk of the target's brain out of their heads, and the second pulls a I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream on them...

Mirais |

Man, this rolls have been terrifying. <.<
I was planning for Mirais to be too panicked to make a scene yet at Zev, but I needed something for those terrible Stealth rolls. D:

I totally see somebody throwing up the first time you use that one.
I think this group is gonna end up less Justice League and more Watchmen

Zev Kelevra |

Hmm, Zev has ranks in Intimidate, Perception, and Stealth.
He has 1 more rank and I'm trying to decide between Diplomancy, Religion, and Planes. Any suggestions?

Game Master Scotty |

All will be critical at every point of the path 1-6, either to ID monsters or interact with NPCs.
Currently, no one has Planes. That will be useful later, very uselful, but I'm guessing your monster hunter may pick it up later.
Religion looks like a solid choice with your hybrid Paladin/barbarian mix, a bit of holy knowledge along with head smashing.

Zev Kelevra |

Yeah, I was leaning a bit towards Religion but I didn't know what everyone else had.

Zev Kelevra |

Well, while we're running to catch up, what about this for Zev?

Thankies, I also think this works pretty well for a Nidalen (Nidalese?) Greatsword.
