GM Chyro |

Ever or recently? Also I dont think that really counts quite yet.
Grint's killed several opponents by dealing enough dmg to bring them from the positives to below their con scores. That counts as a fatality to me.
With the two 'stallers' at most, dispatched, Father Burdock ignores the stored chests and the rest of the outhouse to give chase.
By now, the messenger had been running during the two rounds of your fight.
Yes to your question, south

Jadwiga Elsa Harcatha |

Elsa follows and says C'mon Grint, don't be so lazy no time to dawdle!

GM Chyro |

Map coming in a bit.
I couldn't edit the description of the cell, previously, it's not high, but of average 10ft height, like the ceiling of the room you're in currently.
Through the tiny bit of space, you see a wooden wall and a stronger smell of hay. Some commotion has started, as some frantic voices are quickly exchanged.
#1: "The group from the hamlet has surfaced from the underground."
#2, a strong voice: "Get into positions then, a barn like this should easily be properly defended. By the way, have some heavy sentries near the prisoners."
#1: "What about that family? Are we holding them for ransom?"
#2: "No, he has need of them to complete some business of sorts. No questions asked."
A bone chilling scream from a man comes from somewhere above, an attic or second floor maybe?
#3: "It's probably not pretty, whatever he's doing."

Grint Mavric |

"On it. On it, Elsa. I just need a clear view to get the runner. Hopefully I'll get one."
Grint hurries after the others, bow in hand ready to nock more arrows onto it if needed.

Sivar Soulscar |

"Brace the door with anything if you can I'm going to get ready"
Sivar casts iron skin (+4) then shield of faith (+2) and if he has time he takes armour off the bad guys and puts it on.

GM Chyro |

Your armor you still had on, it's your weapons they have outside of the room.
They did, however, both carry a dagger, which is better than the improved weapon.
You hear footsteps coming closer, as you cast iron skin.
A rugged face looks through the space.
"Hey, the boxes are open!"
Roll for an init.
The quartet arrives at the barn. It is a large structure, 60ft x 90ft and about 30ft high at it's peak, well the people in the hamlet did say harvest would usually be stored in the high season.
Two heavy doors are in front, slightly ajar.
The others know, but to Thorn; the big squares are support columns that provide partial cover.
A low growling comes from within.
Any preparations before heading in?

Grint Mavric |

Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (16) + 12 = 28
"Something's growling from inside, I bet it's that dog handler and his last pooch. Let's be ready for it when it happens. Father Burdock? Can you open the door for us, I'll keep an arrow ready for it."
Readying an action to fire a single shot at the thing that did the growling when the doors are opened.

Sivar Soulscar |

Initiative roll twice take the best Oracle ability: 2d20 + 1 ⇒ (20, 14) + 1 = 35

Jadwiga Elsa Harcatha |

Elsa uses her wand to cast True Strike

Father Burdock |

Burdock casts Bull's Strength on Thorn +2 to hit and +3 damage with your axe for 40 min and Magic Weapon on Grint's bow +1 to damage for 8 minutes. Finally, he casts Lead Blades 2d6 hammer damage for 8 minutes on himself and regains Magic Weapon again via his Pearl of Power.
When the others are ready, Burdock flings open the door and backs away to give Grint a clear shot.

GM Chyro |

Father Burdock flings open the doors, inviting a volley of arrows at himself and Thorn.

No dog is in sight, but what you do see is a platform on a wall in front of you, 15 ft up, no visible stairs to it an archer in kneeling position. Several barrels and columns, in the far back a scaffolding with barrels. 4 Bandits are within sight.

GM Chyro |

Guard duty in a blind spot, when a certain big man from earlier came running by, it went for the juicy ankles.
The other two went into, for you at the time, blind spot.
Father Burdock sees them now though.
Together with the wounds the dog had received earlier, Thorn ends the canine factor.
Elsa & Father Burdock
