Analin nods. "So long as the fire doesn't catch the trees behind us we should be alright. May the Light shine on us as we face down the horde."

Analin will throw 4th level Fireballs (count as 3rd level due to affinities) til the cows come home, the trollocs are reduced to a manageable number, or the forest fire threatens to burn the PCs to death.

Large and small fireballs begin to blossom amongst the staggered groups of Trollocs as they begin to hurl flaming brands beyond the ward border. Fortunate for the party, and unfortunate for the trollocs, these are simple fires, and as such, slowly catch trees and brush on fire. For the channelers, whose fireballs are creations of the One Power, the fire is more consistent and steady, causing massive fires upon detonation within a group of trollocs.

Trollocs begin to burn and reduced to ash faster than what the trollocs can hurl firebrands into the ward, and some of the more weak willed trollocs begin to fall back from the onslaught of fire and flame. the more ignorant, or stubborn, remain behind hurling more brands. The flames inside the ward begin to build, but slowly, as the swirling winds keep the spread of embers and coals to a minimum. smoke, however, begins to build and spread thick upon the ground, slowly building in height.

The intelligent trolloc, the one who barked the idea to throw the fire into the ward, suddenly stops his gesturing and commanding. those trollocs nearest him are suddenly showered in a bath of blood and ichor as his body is literally torn into shreds. clumps of flesh fly out in a small arc, landing 10 to 15 feet away from where it stood. body parts, no bigger than a forearm in length, land upon trollocs nearby.

Seeing their new leader torn apart in such a violent way, the surviving trollocs, 20 in all, turn and flee. the magnitude of fear within them is such that some run blindly into analins firewall, being reduced to ash and cinders in mere seconds.

As the smoke builds, the last of the trollocs run in fear from the group.

Merdrith severs her link with FIa and pushes off from her, a horrid and appaled look upon her face. she stumbles on her leg, and then falls back against a tree. As the smoke creeps higher, she breaths raggedly and screams loudly Analin! A dark friend! She has used one of the forbidden weaves! Only those that serve the Dark One know this weave!

Strands of air coalesce around a large burning deadfall of a tree. Merdrith snaps her hand forward and hurls the burning items at Fiallian...

Fia staggers away from the burning branch that had been hurled at her as she brushes any embers out from her clothing. Then she looks up at Merdrith, her eyes as cold as the deep of night in the three-fold-land. The One Power rises within her, building as it wells nearer to her strength. Thick strands of spirit hover at the edge of forming into weaves.

She does not retaliate however, only looks with a pitying look at the other woman as if wondering just how deep her foolishness ran. ”You know, one of these days I'm afraid you and I may end up having a rather serious disagreement.”

Readying the Shield weave against anyone who attacks her with the power (btw, are we using Pathfinderized or UtDB version?). If she can use the Splitting the Flows feat to ready a second weave, she will also ready Cut Weave.

"You want to stop doing that," Ryvin says in a flat tone of voice.

The Ebou Dari flings a weave at Merdrith, but not a hostile one. Instead, a Ward takes form around the Aes Sedai - a small Ward against the Power.

"She's not hurt," Ryvin says to Analin. "But I won't stand for her hurting my friends without explaining herself."

A Sept divided will fall to their enemies in any feud. Let us work together to get free of this place, then you can cast your aspersions."

On a side note, Rhoekk is still really unclear on just what this woman's real name is, but Fifi is the last one I recall being used in his immediate presence... ;)

Rhoekk moves up to where Dengorin and Keelix are running, moving swiftly and without even cause to be breathing hard. He pulls a bunch of arrows from the quivers lent to him before passing them back, leaving each with about half its original number.

As he hands over the leather he addresses Dengorin, "You, the one that fled before these beasts; do you know from where they come, their total number, or who commands them? I have not yet seen any eyeless, nor any wielders of the one power; do you know who drives them in this pursuit, or how many fists the trollocs might number?"

Male Human Cleric (cardinal) 3 | Councilor

Confused by what ever was going on with all of the Aes Sedai, Dengorin held his peace, instead waiting for these others to run for their horses so they could escape. As the Aiel hands him his arrows and begins bombarding him with questions, he takes a wary step back and says , "My name do be Dengorin Kaltaneos, and these Trollocs were holding me in this fort of some kind. Where they came from before that do likely be the Blight. They captured myself and my traveling companions several days ago, and I only escaped when they were distracted, likely by you. The others do no be alive, I do think."

Shuddering at the mention of the Eyeless , he said, [b]"I do no recall seeing a Fade, not do I know what a 'fist' of Trollocs is. I had no seen a Trolloc before a few days ago.

blight check dc 25:

this thing feeds off of anything and every thing it can get its tentacles into. If it consumes a female channeler, it begins to reproduce. small tentacles are disgorged from the body, and become ravenous feeding machines, eating everything it can make contact with.

the tentacle shifts in color, and smoke begins to rise from within. but as alathea pulls hard, the tree next to merdrith splits in two. a viscous noxious fluid fills the air as it oozes down the tree trunk. dozens of tentacles spill out of depth of the tree, lazily lashing about, seeking to touch something or anything. the power behind alathea's pulling pulls out this creature from its hiding spot, revealing itself to those around.

sure. make a ref save dc 15 to push ryvin out of the way. if you get the 15, you push her out of the way, but take her place. if you get 20+, you push her out of the way and avoid the tentacles yourself.

Can I just use the 22 ref I rolled initially? Please?
