Ryvin Altessar
Hearing the ruckus behind her, Ryvin comes to a stop.
"Bloody Seanchan training..." she growls, and focuses her attention on the veiled Trolloc. A highly localized blast of air starts to take shape around the beast.
Channelling: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (4) + 18 = 22. Weave penetration 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (18) + 11 = 29. Using person-specific Kiss of the Storm on the veiled Trolloc for 2d4 ⇒ (2, 4) = 6 damage. (At this troup deployment, I don't dare use something bigger and I'm not about to close in now.) Reflex save DC 15 for half damage.

since alathea didnt do a weave resistance check, i will roll for her
Chen, deciding to end this threat once and for all charges the tall trolloc. confident in his ability with the sword, and his prowess against the earlier trollocs, he charges.
His large sword from the homeland, heron blazing in glory upon the shiny steel blade, swings out and connects with the trolloc. unfortunately, it doesnt penetrate the skin.
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 19
weaving deftly to avoid snarring chen, Alathea successfully ensnares the large trolloc. just as the air strands fall onto its body, the weave dissipates, with a mental snap that momentarily stuns Alathea.
Ryvin, seeking to aide her companions, throws a weave of air at the trolloc, but fails to have the weaves coalese together to affect the strange trolloc.
rhoekk, realizing that he is low on arrows, asks around for quivers. his companions are quick to reply by tossing quivers at his feet, their contents partially spilling out onto the ground.
The large trolloc turns its head and looks down at the point of impact on its arm. Looking back slightly, it sees chen with a puzzled look upon his face.
piviting on the ball of its foot, chen is surprised at the fluidity and grace that this creature moves. The trolloc looks into chens eyes, making eye contact. Chen looks back and his mind recoils in horror at what he witnesses. a part of him, distant, deep, in the past, seems to rear up and howl in anger and agony. It takes Chen only a moment to process what he sees, but it stretches for an eternity as his rational side refuses to accept what he has witnessed.
The trolloc, finishing its pivot, snaps its arms out in a rapid strike, not at chen himself, but at his sword.
1d20 + 15 ⇒ (14) + 15 = 29
in a move eerily similar to rhoekks disarming in the house, chen once again witnesses his own sword falling to the ground. Just as shame begins to fill chens mind, the trolloc moves incredibly fast and snaps one of its spears into chen.
1d20 + 18 ⇒ (13) + 18 = 31
1d8 + 8 + 1d10 ⇒ (6) + 8 + (3) = 17
The blade pierces chens heavy armor, and bites deep. a second later, a surge of miniature lightning arcs flashes across chen's body causing him to stiffen in shock.
see, i did a pun :)
Dengorin Kaltaneos
Clenching his jaw, Dengorin watches the veiled Trolloc disarm the Ogier and thrust a spear into his side. The Ogier can no run from the Trolloc now. Fortune prick me, I do be a fool.
Charging forward with a wordless yell, Dengorin grips his sword in both hands and breaks into Boar Rushes Downhill, using the momentum of his charge to strike the Trolloc hard. As he does so, he says, "Grab your blade, Ogier, and perhaps we can hold it off!"
Boar Rushes Downhill: 1d20 + 13 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 13 + 2 + 1 = 23
Damage: 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13
My AC is 18 for the next round.
Analin Mendiana
Analin turns to glance at the carnage wrought by her fellow channelers. Seeing the oversized trolloc apparently more than a match for Chen she gestures and gathers weaves of air to hold the trolloc in place.
Level 4 Harden Air to trap the trolloc facing Chen. No weave resistance, DC 18 Reflex save.
Rhoekk of the Tardaad Aiel
Turning back to the view of the fight, Rhoekk kneels down next to the quivers and scoops up each arrow as he launches it into flight. The sight of the giant ogier apparently stunned, disarmed and then struck by the thing's spear comes as a surprise, given the ogier's apparent level of skill, however, the surprise slows him not a bit as he directs every shot towards the strangely dressed spear-wielding trolloc.

Couldn't remember how Spell/Weave resistance works with magic weapons, so I had to look it up. Looks like as long as it works like Spell-Resistance, magic weapons and their abilities are not affected at all.
Only spells and spell-like abilities are subject to spell resistance. Extraordinary and supernatural abilities (including enhancement bonuses on magic weapons) are not.
Ryland of Fal Dara
Ryland stops as he realizes the others are not with him, a deep growl comes from inside the wolf lord as he turns back the way he came and snarls. "Fools! Trolloc buggered fools!"
The woods man rushes back to the others hoping they ate not sending them all to thier death.
Keelix Andren
Keelix nods to Ryland as they pass. He continues towards to portal tree carrying the injured Merdrith. Once they have made enough distance to have a little time, he stops and begins tending her wound, removing the spear and applying a bandage.
Heal: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (5) + 14 = 19.
Ryvin Altessar
Grumbling under her breath, Ryvin moves over to where the downed Merdrith lies, and puts a hand against her throat. Weaves of Air, Spirit and Water swirls around her lower arm and go spinning into the damane.

ok, i am calling a pause to this combat. i see something that is making me stop and do some heavy thinking. the issue is with the harden air, and its no weave resistance. i had been playing with it being subject to weave resistance, until analin pointed it out in her posting. so to make things fair, i need to do some research on pathfinder srd, and consider all aspects of this before i make my next posting. so i will allow all other users to post actions that havent done so, but if you have already posted, then hold off until monday.
remember, you can see clear down the trail when it is straight line of sight, if the trail bends, you can only do straight line of sight until it hits a tree. for the woods, you can only see out to a distance of 35 feet, and up to 50 feet with a perception check dc20.
and yes, i do allow indirect fire.

here we go
analin harden air WR check: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15
the air around the strange trolloc begins to harden, but it just cannot find a hold on the trolloc. the area around the trolloc is hardened, but it yeilds to the trolloc.
at teh same time, ryvin casts a singular point effect upon the trolloc, seeking to knock the creature back, but it fails to form upon it.
Dengorin, aka the new guy, leaps forward in an attempt to seek retribution against his captor. days of torment at the hands of this creature fill him with rage and anger.
for the rest of this encounter, dengorin gains a +5 to all attacks and damages
leaping high, the blademaster swings his sword around, and only manages to scratch a tear in the trollocs caidan'sor.
five arrows, imbuned with the energies of air and water, come streaking down the narrow trail. Rhoekk, motionless, watches as time seems to slow down, his thought connected to the target, watching, observing.
the five arrows approach the mark, and of the five, four of them seem to hit but seem to have no affect upon the creature. the fifth arrow, the first fired, seems to hold true, finding the creatures heart. only, at the last moment, it snaps the handle of its spear up and deflects the arrow up and away. the creature looks fully upon rhoekk.
Come, show Tragzt, greatest of 13, what an Aiel warrior can do
seeing the Ogier unarmed for the moment, the trolloc attacks the human that he held captive for the last month with its large spear with rapid strikes.
1d20 + 18 ⇒ (18) + 18 = 36
1d20 + 18 ⇒ (4) + 18 = 22
1d20 + 13 ⇒ (8) + 13 = 21
1d20 + 13 ⇒ (8) + 13 = 21
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20
and a final blurr, it slams the blade hard into dengorins body.
1d20 + 18 ⇒ (4) + 18 = 22
1d8 + 8 + 1d10 ⇒ (4) + 8 + (3) = 15
1d8 + 8 + 1d10 ⇒ (3) + 8 + (3) = 14
1d8 + 8 + 1d10 ⇒ (3) + 8 + (5) = 16
wow, dengorin got real lucky.
Ryvin Altessar
Snarling her frustration, Ryvin looks around at the other channelers. "We need to link up!" she says. "Raise our control to overcome that... thing's resistance!"
Fiallain
Fiallain nods and stands next to Ryvin, joining her power over to that of the Ebou Dari. With Ryvin taking the lead, she turns and glares at the abomination wearing Cadinsor and wielding spears. "Obliterate it." she snarls.
Channel / Concentration check is auto success on my end.
Dengorin Kaltaneos
Ouch. I was real lucky.
Grimacing from the Trolloc's attack, yet fortunate he hadn't taken a worse blow, Dengorin felt anger at the Trolloc - at this beast and those like it that had captured him and his companions, tortured him, beaten him, and killed all of the others. They had made him sleep doubled up in a cook pot. He wanted to lash out in rage. Another part of him, a more calculating part, knew he couldn't take another full barrage of attacks. Smiling a fierce smile as blood ran down the side of his face, he lashed out with the anger, while simultaneously shifting into a more defensive style of fighting to better protect himself from the strikes of the Trolloc.
Attack 1: 1d20 + 13 + 1 + 5 - 4 ⇒ (10) + 13 + 1 + 5 - 4 = 25
Damage: 1d8 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12
Attack 2: 1d20 + 8 + 1 + 5 - 4 ⇒ (6) + 8 + 1 + 5 - 4 = 16
Damage: 1d8 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13
Attack 3: 1d20 + 13 + 1 + 5 - 4 ⇒ (2) + 13 + 1 + 5 - 4 = 17
Damage: 1d8 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13

He deflected an attack 38? Even if the magic was completely removed (which it wouldn't be in Pathfinder, but this is of course a slightly different world), that would still be an AC 31; that's impressive, especially for a large creature. Oh, wait, he must have the Deflect Arrow feat, allowing him to deflect one shot per round regardless of its rating...
I take it there were no lightning strikes?
So, we can assume he either has an AC of 30+, or if magic weapon bonuses don't apply then only a 23+, which would actually be no big deal. Chen hit an AC 25 which still misses, but with a +2 weapon, so if that was discounted, we'd still be at AC 23+. Dengoran also missed with a 23. I see you're using a plain longsword? Not even masterwork? Wow. Maybe that's all you could grab during your escape?
Time to reconsider tactics. I'd advise my colleagues to go for accuracy for the time being, and forgo power attacks or deadly aiming for the time being, until we get a good measure of his defensive capacity.
I was told I got max starting gold for my class (300), and couldn't afford a Masterwork weapon.

Here we go again...
Hmm, the opponent has called to me specifically. Can a Trolloc have ji? Regardless, if I ignore the challenge, I will show myself to have little or none of my own...
Catching Fiallain's eye for a moment, Rhoekk tosses her the bone white power wrought bow. Not only could she use it, if her pride and her new role still allowed such things, but the weapon was far too valuable a tool to be lost should he wake from the dream this day.
Snapping his buckler into place and drawing forth his best spear, Rhoekk closed with the strange gilded pig in caden'sor. When he neared the beast, he juked at the last moment, moving in close, and thrusting towards the heart with the long razor-sharp blade.
Attack: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (20) + 16 = 36
Confirm Critical: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (20) + 16 = 36
Damage: 1d6 + 6 + 1d6 + 4d6 + 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 + (5) + (4, 1, 4, 1) + (4) + 6 = 34
Now I wish I had used power attack; don't get rolls like that often. But, I was going for accuracy, so Power attack will have to wait.
@Rizzen: In the books, caden'sor was described as varying by clan, sept, and society, to the point that Aiel battling one another could tell each other apart at a glance, even though the differences were subtle enough to appear invisible to wetlanders; can Rhoekk tell from whom this strange Trolloc might have copied his garb based on the cut and style?
Fiallain
Fiallain snatches the bow from the air easily in one long oft practiced motion as it was tossed her direction. Her eyes meet Rhoekk's, holds them for the briefest of moments. Her free hand flashes.
Go. Shower the earth with its blood.
Kodokura
Sorry, don't have my books on hand, but doesn't a male have to lead a mixed circle...? Most happy to be corrected if I'm mistaken, and more than willing to join either way, but you women might be best off by yourselves if it's the case. I'm sure I'm not the most powerful channeller, and Analin may have issues with being part of an asha'man-led circle.
Chen Armand
The smell of his hair burning fills the inside of his armor. He stares with rage at eyes all to similar to his own.
What in the Empresses name?
He retrieved his sword with a swift hop to the side as Rhoekk engaged.
He shouted only half at the Trolloc, more so at the Dark One himself.
"If sight is lacking take mine! If sight is lacking! TAKE MY EYES!"
He swung again at the beast. Atk: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (8) + 19 = 27
Damage: 2d8 + 17 ⇒ (8, 2) + 17 = 27

anyone can lead. if there were two men in the link, then a man would have to lead. the rules state that a 1man/1woman circle, a circle of 13 or fewer with two men, or a full seventy circle, a man will always lead. if the circle doesnt meet the above criteria, then either a man or woman will.
WOT RULES Mouse make a note of thisin regards to linking and weave penetration, i will say that for every female beyond the second to link up will gain a +1 bonus to weave penetration. example, if two women link up, then they do not gain a penetration bonus. if a third links up, then they gain a +1 bonus. Now, if a male joins the circle, then the group gains a +1 for EVERY person in the circle, including the first two. so that group of three would only get a +1 weave pen bonus, but with the joining of a male, now gains a +4

Rhoekk, a blur of speed and subdued colors, strikes faster than an adder, his spear the fangs.
Time seems to slow down for everyone...
ryvin, alathea, kodokura all joining hands while fia lets go from ryvins to catch the bow...
Ryland rushes past the group, shouting to amorial...
keelix ties off a bandage around merdiths thigh...
dengorin recovers from the heavy attack and prepares to respond...
chen scoops up his blade and in the same movement swings...
Amorial reaches out his hand, his mouth open to shout something...
analin walking up to ryvins group to join the circle...
Rhoekk, the finest warrior that a warrior culture could produce, focuses upon his opponents chest. large and muscular, rhoekk imagines where the heart is. dodging a swinging kick and spear strike, Rhoekk snaps his spear in perfect form.
The blade, razor sharp and pointed, easily pierces the tough Trollocs hard chest, and enters the heart. Slicing through muscle, the spear slices into the heart like a sharp butchers knife to fine veal. The heart, massive, pumping liters of blood with every contraction, is penetrated. The tip and several inches of steel pass into and through the heart, the contractions of the heart causing it to filet itself into thin slices within the heart cavity. The great trolloc stiffens in immense pain. shock and bewilderment fills its face, its arms drop.
The strike from chen connects, cutting the trollocs head from its shoulders. the head flies high, and lands at rhoekks feet. its mouth moves, mouthing something disjointed. it blinks a couple times, and finally closes its eyes forever.
The body remains standing, frozen in place.
rolling a nat 20 on this website is damn near impossible. rolling 2 in the same window, ive never seen it happen. hence the above posting. normally, at my table top games, i say that if you can roll three nat 20s in a row, then its an autokill. but on here, given how difficult it is to achieve a nat 20, i lowered it to two. if anyone rolls two nat twentys, it is an autokill
Rhoekk of the Tardaad Aiel
Sweet; didn't actually do all that much damage. Two twenties back to back is rare for sure, but the odds of it happening should only be around 1:400, which while unlikely, isn't astronomical. I can't recall specifically, but I think I may have gotten a double 20 before. The typical house-rules triple twenty would have odds of 1:8000 by comparison. Not discounting how rare two twenties in row are, but they aren't in the same long odds category as three. Theoretically, the dice roller should be fairly close to random (though computers often can't do a truly random, but pick a number that only appears random). It is your call though. While we probably will see a double twenty again in this game, it probably won't be for a while.
Percetion: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (9) + 19 = 28 Rhoekk's eyebrow quirks above his veiled eyes in response to what he sees upon the twisted creature's lips. Thanks? This encounter only seems to grow stranger. Everything I know says Trolloc's are born trollocs, by twisted use of the one power upon human women to fuse animal with their unborn. Is it possible this thing was born Aiel, only to become twisted later in life? What a foul fate. Thanks indeed.
Rhoekk pulls his spear free of the Trolloc's falling body, his gaze moving around to assess other immediate threats. He scoops up the Trolloc's strangely powered spear and stuffs it under his empty quiver with his own.
Perception: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (15) + 19 = 34
Rhoekk drops to a knee next to the body, moving over it rapidly, looking for anything odd or out of place in his accoutrements; anything that might indicate why this foe presented such an unusual challenge (like his own bracers, for instance). Also, he looks for personal affects; things that might provide a clue as to whether this was once a man, an Aiel, and not just an unusual trolloc.
Ryvin Altessar
Ryvin holds out a hand towards Kodokura and snaps: "JOIN US!" Saidar surges and roils around her... and awaits the inclusion of saidin!
Concentration check, don't fail me now! DC 21... 1d20 + 10 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 10 + 4 = 23 Success!
Fiallain
Fia nods almost imperceptibly as the strange trolloc fell lifeless to the ground, its demise having been all but a foregone conclusion to her mind. There was a very good reason that her homeland was named "The Dying Ground" by this enemy. She slung Rhoekk's bow over her shoulder to return to him at his leisure and rejoined the circle in case further attack should continue before her companions had withdrawn.
Rhoekk of the Tardaad Aiel
DC 25 strength check is higher than I can theoretically hit by myself, unless I can get STR x1.5 by using both hands... Even then, I'd need a 19 to do it...
STR DC 25: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Wow; the dice like me today. If I can get 1.5x STR, then I may have done it, otherwise, I'll need an assist.
Rhoekk grimaces as the blade fails to come free at first tug. He is forced to climb onto the thing's chest, planting his feet on each side of the spear and pulling with both hands, an audible grunt escaping his lips as he pulls.
Rhoekk quickly removes the items he noted upon the corpse, taking care not to touch any of them with his bare skin. He places them together in an empty pouch. Speaking quietly to those close by he says, "Only the Creator and Sightblinder know what these things do, and which of them use the power, or how. If any of then had anything to do with this creature's fate, I have no wish to suffer anything similar. Best to sequestrate these for now, deprive the enemy of anything of value amongst them, and give them over to those who have knowledge of the power as soon as the chance arrives."
What is going on with the other Trollocs?
Analin Mendiana
Wow, lots of stuff happened. Analin wouldn't have joined a circle with Kodo without having linked with him before.
Analin was impressed by the speed with which the other women linked and again by how quickly Rhoekk and Chen dispatched the Power-resistant trolloc. "Unless this one is linked to the other trollocs like a myrddraal, there are still dozens, if not hundreds of others coming this way. We should leave."
Chen Armand
Taking a ten on str to aid another, as it shouldn't be a huge deal for Rhoekk and myself using combined str to rip it free. So 15
"A masterful strike yourself." Chen returns the compliment.
