Ambervale locations:
Peaks of death and despair: Lots of volcanoes, poisonous smokes, some few red dragons and demons roams...the surface. Not much reports of what is below, the communication with the dwarfs of there was lost more than 20 years ago.
bitterblood swamp: Marsh goblins and Lizardfolks constantly at war. Two years ago an adventuring party killed black wyrm there, quite a success. An actual standard place for adventurers.
Whispering forest: The standard forest filled with undeads. The bodies there sooner or later are reanimated as some kind of undead, and sometime adventurers go crazy saying the forest is telling them stories. When the undead population is growing Aldwall pays for every undead destroyed, standard stuff.
Now I'm thinking about getting rid of Studied Combat. Once I inevitably get Quick Study, it'll use up a swift action I could be saving for ripostes. Plus, it's kinda overkill with my current attack and damage bonuses.
That would free up 5 points at level 4, which makes it a lot easier to pay for spellcasting. I might even take a 6-level spell list, probably Bard or Inquisitor.
Question: The Qinggong Ki Powers can replace a whole bunch of the Monk's secondary and tertiary abilities. An archetype ability that replaces more than one of the original class's abilities is priced as an average of what it replaces.
But the powers are an optional feature, so how does that work with the cost? Do I need to purchase each power individually, or do I just treat it as replacing all of the monk abilities, period, and price it as such (3 points)?
If I choose a ki power that duplicates a feat, would that count as a prerequisite for other feats? For instance, if I took the Power Attack ki power, would that qualify me for Cornugon Smash?
Well he WAS looking for something to give him more meaning in life. Even if it eventually comes down to vaporizing villains and getting drunk in bars still.
He's a big Ulfen man, and he likes nature. That's basically all I remember. Also he is a Ranger for Aldwall by profession, and answers to the leader of said organization.
Not quite. It always takes me so long to level with FFCS. I think I'll just replace Scaly with something else worth 3 points and grab a useful 6th level ability from somewhere.
And there is a discrepancy in the AC from your sheet and the one from the alias. With the black iron armor I'm counting 24 not 22 (plus the elemental resistances).
I think the problem is that, with how often we've been split apart, each of us has ended up with a number of objectives and characters that are significant to that person alone.
In this case, Vendrick is the only one familiar with Fizb, and the only one with any personal interest in exploring the Mistpines. Meanwhile, Sven and Desmond are just sort of along for the ride.
At the moment I'm not seeing how to solve it, because if Sven or desmond want to do something else nothing sort of splitting the party will do the trick.
Though it would be interesting for me to know more clearly what are the objectives of each one of you, to take them into account for future quests. To be honest I thought that looking for adventures, riches and killing some evil guys in the process would be enough most of the time :p
Guys, I'm been burieds with stuffs. This is the last semester of the Ph.D I'm doing, I have to write and submit two articles for march and turn in my thesis in april.
Though I have time to make posts (like this one) I don't have the time or energy to think about what to posts, and I don't think I will have them until past april.
Btw, parallel to this game, I plan to try a world of darkness game in case you are interested, Cube. Scavion and Storm dragon are in, .
I've never done anything WoD related, but it sounds interesting. I'm in.
Ok. It is intended to be a world building campaign. Somewhere between 1960 and 1980 there was WWIII so the world have plenty of space for rebuilding. I'm allowing Vampires, Werewolves, Demons. Hunters or Mages (but the less mages the better).
The US is now a wasteland a la Mad Max**, but basically the rest of America, Europe and north Africa are allowed for you to chose where to play.
Think about what you want to play, I'll b back in two weeks if still alive.
**This is so you will not be in a familiar place if you choose to play in the Us. It's easier for me this way.
