You have earned her support of the Pathfinder Society in general. However, you have not convinced her to support the Cult of Lissala campaign in particular because of your lack of knowledge of the military situation in Varisia. There was a check back on the boat at the beginning. I will allow you to earn you Faction PP if you can further the Silver Crusade’s Season 4 general goal.

With the way Brute ran her, I wasn't sure if he counted it as mission success or not. From what I remember she's supposed to be a really "This job has been in my family for 5 generations" kind of gal, so I wasn't sure if he was gonna let a high diplomacy cut it in place of Kn(H). They shoehorned some really weird knowledges in for a few of this scenario's faction missions. Mine was either a Kn(Geography) or Bluff to do trade.
But, yeah, I'm Abadarian and contract-bound to "Explore, Report, and Cooperate" (being really bad at the first, and really good at the second.) There's no way I'd refuse to help, even if I despise this woman. All ye got to do is ask. We got a sad, little boat ride home in which to do it.

So, I'm having a great time, and I'm more than willing to keep playing with you all. With Gencon coming up, I just need to make sure my characters are free for the con. I've got a level 9 sorcerer, (soon) 8 ranger, 4 bard, and 3 cleric that I need free. I think we can definitely play a complete one before then.
And Brute, don't feel at all bad about being deadly here. I really enjoyed this module, running away and all.

If I end up being insane and wealthy enough to go to Gencon by myself, I should probably plan a little bit as well. I have a 3rd level maybe going into a PBP now, 5th level Witch, a 6th level Bard, and a 13th level Cavalier, so I should be dandy regardless. Plus, there's always the fact I get 1 credit a week from my local weekly game.
Gencon is Aug 15 - Aug 18? Work internet is being a butt about finding this out definitively.

Yes it is. They've expanded a crazy amount this year. There are SO many options, including an option for especially deadly games with higher rewards.
So flying from New Hamphsire, using some tricks and connections, I'm doing the entire trip (not including food or purchases) for under $500.

Can't disagree with these points at all. :-)

For various reasons, I currently have three 3rd-level PCs in need of advancing prior to PaizoCon in July. So personally, I would prefer to stay in that range, should others want to play some more.

I am 7th as of this chronicle thanks to the magic of DM credits and forethought, but I need to manhandle my PFS Coordinator Bro to report the session for "The Fortress of the Nail" (because there's no way in Hell she'd survive it. 10 Con, GO!)

This module pushed Bishop to 8. I've got a few in the 2-3 range. I'm wide open for tier 7-11.

Before we get too far past the end of the session, please roll your Dayjob checks!
And, yes, I will be stepping down from running for you guys for a while here. Though it has been a blast!
I don’t have a character for Dawn of the Scarlet Sun at the moment. But that’s ok. I will lurk about what ever you guys do decide to do. I know Feral wants back in.
I would be up for playing in a future Scenario if you decide to go lower level. Also, I will have a mid level Alchemist after I power-level him by running Thornkeep for my home group. :)

Day Job: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (11) + 17 = 28
I haven't played it. I'm totally down to play it! Thanks for everything Brute. If you run something, and I can, I'll play.

Something I learned while filling out Chronicles.
The way the scenario describes things I got the impression that if one person influenced a guest, then all players get credit for that. Apparently the goal of the scenario is supposed to be that each character influences 3 guests, with joint efforts giving credit to all players involved. It’s a little confusing.
Anyway, I need to record which guests each of you gained influence over during the session. Looking back, I have at least 3 for Amira and Bishop, but I need more for the rest of you. Let me know if I missed something in my scanning of the thread. So, I have listed what I have so far, please let me know which other guests you want to have influence with to get you up to three. I’m told that having influence with guests may not always be a positive thing.
Adamus: Hamaria, Rubanni, +1
Erin: Hamaria, +2
Rosham: +3
Yandu: Alexandar, +2

To my knowledge, the way this goes is as follows: The Society wants 3 people to think fondly of the Society. The Decemvirate cares not who does it, but as long as the party as a whole influence at least 3 people, they're happy. As long as between us as a party influence 3 people, we get the XP and Prestige for finishing the primary mission.
The examples for this scenario will be our's;
Now, since these 3 people have been influenced successfully, we have completed the main mission. Hooray! 1 XP and 1 PA for everyone!
Now, the complex part. The chronicle sheets lists each individual we could talk to for influence points. Let's look through the examples above.
This set of events means that only Amira get's the "Influenced Jeon Rae-Woo" boon, Adamus gets the "Influenced Rubaani" Boon, and (depending on if anyone overshot the DC) nobody would get the "Influenced Hamaria" boon. Brute needs to review how many successes everyone had in the group-effort individuals to see if anyone got the required successes for each specific boon.
*Disclaimer: I've been on a hot-streak today on being wrong, so this might be another goal on that front. I'm pretty sure though.

GM Brute Squad |

Amira, that is how I read the scenario success conditions as well. However, this post clarifies the issue.
And yes, each PC should have gained enough influence with 3 different NPCs by the scenario's conclusion to surpass those NPCs' respective Successes Needed threshold. A PC who has a bunch of Influence Points spread out over several NPCs but hasn't reached the target number with any of them does not earn a Prestige Point for the primary mission.
I will send out Chronicles tomorrow, then we are all good here. Rosham and Yandu, I need to know who you want influence with by then or I will just pick for you.

Well on second thought I'm going to run something and I'll let Feral play since he's been left out of the last 2 games. So what 3-7s and 5-9s can people play?
My situation breaks down as such: "If it's Seasons 0-2, I've probably played it. If it's Season 3, I might be able to play it (better chances on higher-tier stuff). If it's Season 4, I've probably already ran it but not played in it, really early S4 stuff excluded (thanks to convention play)." Most (more like ALL) my Season 4 high level credit has gone to Amira, though.

Dungeon Master S |

I'm pretty much with Amira. I really ought to retire Bishop, otherwise he'll be too high to play with half of my GenCon team (as is he's pushing it.)
I'm more than happy to play my Bard 4 or Cleric 3. The pickings are slim, but My Enemy's Enemy is a 3-7 I can play.

thunderspirit |

I've played all the Season 4 3-7s. Of the Season 4 5-9s, I have not played Fortress of the Nail or Fabric of Reality.
FWIW, I do still have open stuff from Season 3, though:
- Echoes of the Overwatched (1-5)
- Defenders of Nesting Swallow (GMd, 1-5)
- Icebound Outpost (1-5)
- Immortal Conundrum (5-9)
- Dog Pharaoh's Tomb (5-9)
- Snakes in the Fold (5-9)
- Haunting of Hinojai (5-9)
- Golden Serpent (5-9)

It works for me.

Dungeon Master S |

I've both played and DMed it. Don't let me stop you though.
