"I am Olga. I live here. If you don't want the stew, so be it. It won't harm you. As for asking me to leave, why would you evict an old woman who has done you no harm? You claim to be good, and you'd do that?"

We did find a 50k ring and now 125k sword.. Seeing as we didn't find it mind telling us what it was?
Archie keeps his eye on the woman as they exit the room..
There was a amulet of regeneration which could bring you bake to life. I estimate the value at 100k+
Yes ring of regeneration is 90k. What was the 50k ring? I rarely see such things in play somehow.

Seems the cooking lessons will have to wait... Next room?
Lalali leads the way I assume. No traps on the door.

DrB please consider the following actions null and void if you think it's too much player knowledge vs character knowledge... But Rav is a genius 22 Int and is a medium level arcane caster so he probably would have heard of magic mirrors and the dangers they can present
If he detects no enemies through listening Rav will make a blindfold and put it on.
"stay back... I believe this is a magical trap.most likely a mirror. Let me see if I can retrieve our companions "
seriously! It's a good blindfold. He's not gonna peek! he then slowly walks into the room using his staff like a blind mans cane and walks in the direction that Lalali and Curtis would have been looking as they entered the room.
He walks slowly in a straight line. . Does he reach a wall with a hanging mirror? He would identify this by touch not sight.

PC vs. player knowledge is adjudicated with knowledge checks. Arcanna would be relevant.

Ok, you figure out what the likely effect is as you can stumble in with your staff. Eventually you come to a wall which staff taps seem to identify as glass.

Is there space to the side of the mirror where I can stand and examine it without being in danger of seeing my reflection?
Did my knowledge check reveal if the danger from the mirror is seeing your own reflection? Or is it dangerous to look at the mirror from the side even without seeing your reflection?
Just want to know if I can stand to the side of the mirror and cast an identify spell safely
-Posted with Wayfinder
You tap along the wall, and the whole thing seems to be glass.
Your knowledge check says that looking at the reflective surface of the mirror is bad mojo.
HP 50/50 | AC 19 |vs Incorporeal 19| T 15 | FF 15| CMD 16 | F +6 | R +8 | W +7 | SPD 30 ft | Init +11 | Perc +12| Darkvision 90ft
Option A: IF Rav can find a way to examine the mirror without looking at the reflective surface he will cast Identify to try to learn the command words for the device so he can release his companions
spellcraft: 1d20 + 19 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 19 + 10 = 40
To cover up the reflective surface Rav will take a blanket out of his haversack and drape it over the mirror
Option B: If Rav cannot do option A safely he will reluctantly smash the VERY Valuable Mirror with his staff to release his companions
You cannot examine the mirror without looking at it.
The wall(and mirror) is too long for a blanket to cover.

Can the mirror be removed from the wall and be placed face down? If we can figure out how to do that, Rav will be able to cast Identify safely and obtain the Command words.
The mirror is apparently huge. You have not found a portion of wall which is not mirror. I though I was clear about that.
Any word what happens to the "vanished"?

You were clear on that. It did not register due to lack of coffee in my system.Sorry
Seeing no way to save the mirror and rescue his companions Rav smashes the mirror with his staff and immediately jumps away from the anticipated shower of falling glass
You smash the mirror and release your compatriots. However they aren't the only ones trapped in the mirror. Two large, unpleasant looking quadrupeds are also released.

veteran rp'er that I am, I easily identified the Mirror of Life Trapping, having been affected by it more than once in various campaigns, however I failed to prepare for the trap within the trap which is pretty standard with these (of course there are monsters trapped within waiting to be released when you smash it...duh!). 2d6 Sneak Attack because they are flat-footed? If so the hit one takes -2/-4 to hit anyone. +3 att/dam from Falcos greater magic weapon. If not able to flurry, count only the first one.
As I feel too lazy to conjure a map right now, you can flurry. You miss twice. You can sneak as they are flat footed.
