Thanks for the rescue!
@GM: Do we have an opportunity for a short rest?

Hey folks, I'm moving as many of my PBP games to discord as I can. It's a smoother platform that's more reliable. Discord is way more edit/mobile/almost everything-friendly than the Paizo boards. Here's the link.
Let's get over there and make sure you guys understand how it works before we move gameplay over there.

Duly noted!

The text formatting also doesn't seem to be as good, there's no convenient place to store your character sheet, and every dice bot I've seen is significantly clunkier-looking than the one here. It's also another place to check for updates when all my other games are here.
I'm not bowing out just yet*, but I'm pretty leery of making this change, especially when I haven't had a problem with editing, and I don't check things on mobile, making it seem like me switching is a bunch of cons with no pros. I'm also concerned with the impact this may have on both writing style and pacing, though that I'm willing to reserve judgment on for now.
*Translation: I would like to hear more about the reasoning behind the move and the supposed upsides it would have.

I'll wait before posting any further.

I think you probably haven't seen Discord used well for pbp. The text formatting is actually far cleaner than Paizo's and the dice bots are much better as well. Storing your character sheets is just as easy as it is on Paizo.
So I'll make a full pros cons list to explain why I am making this move:
Pros of Discord:
1. Cleaner text formatting.
2. Cleaner dice rolling.
3. More consistent platform that doesn't cease working all the time the way paizo does.
4. Way easier on mobile and can easily set to get mobile notifications when the game is updated (optional).
5. There's no 1 hr edit window on posts.
6. Much faster website than Paizo with fewer bugs besides #3.
Cons of Discord:
1. No status lines.
2. If you use Discord for other things too, you have to use a bot for aliases so it's a little tricky to edit and you can't edit an aliased bot post if someone has posted after you.

Hmm, well, I've been convinced to at least give it a try. Hopefully my other concerns won't come up. :-)
