That’s why Gunnar still has Fly on you and cast Knock on the door…But going by yourself might not be wise.
Scramsax: I went back and checked, it looks like the locks on the cages are DC20.
Ingryd and Gunnar: Keep in mind the door in the alcove is very small. " Further within the narrow space is a tiny arched opening about six inches high and four wide. A hexagonal carved piece of jet is mounted just above the door and according to Gunnar's keen enhanced gaze appears to be acting as some kind of conduit for the power coming to and from the much larger crystal further out in the room."

I was planning on slowing the hag while Luthael called her in. That was my plan at least. I'd head to the Dryad's grove if we're teleporting out, though.

Well, I Fast Hands'ed the lock, so still have an Action here to teleport the prisoners (only) and free action pick up a lock from the cage to then teleport back next round (using the lock as an location tether).
If that's alright, we can at least take the prisoners out of the equation as planned.
However, teleport could also get us through the 'tiny door' and not let the hag escape, which would be frustrating. Prisoners would then fend for themselves as the dragon destroys everything, so maybe not a good idea.
And yes, by Narg meant Illarya.

I'd say teleport prisoners out. I think Raseri can follow the hag on the Shadow Road, but that's more up too the GM if it actually is possible. Besides, you'll have Raseri's weapons with you if you want to teleport to where she is or use them as scrying foci.

Feel free to teleport out with the rescued prisoners. That is a surer way to get them to safety.
With the door tiny, instead of casting knock, if someone can get it open, Gunnar can teleport himself and Ingryd through it if there is enough room on the other side of the door for them both to fit.

I think Scramsax can get through the door also using the forbidden 5e Squeeze rules. Size small becomes size tiny.

Hmm, I might be a little confused on the 'map' layout here.
There's outside where we were before.
Through the 'tiny alcove' which Gunnar teleported Ingryd through is the area with the dolls, mirrors, a large door and tiny door.
Ras/Inv are in the 'shadow' version of this same area, bypassing the tiny alcove.
Gunnar and Ingryd are now going through the large door.
Scram has just entered the tiny alcove in latest DM narration.

Well, I guess that's that then. Unless I'm mistaken Gunnar made the wrong choice, and follows after the chipmunk. Ingryd follows Gunnar, and Scram follows Ingryd (once the stool is free).

It seems to me the hag has gotten away but I could be wrong. I think its better we all stick together anyways especially with our cleric doublet MIA.

Gunnar: No. It is a magic item, so not subject to counterspell. Judging by the puffiness of his cheeks, he probably has more of them stashed in there.

Doh, I hit the average exactly with that Sneak crit. 44 is the average of 2d4+4+10d6 on the money.

Hmm, well shoot. No hag, no chipmunk/cheek-loot, no clerics, no castle...starting to wonder if the 'friends' we rescued were wax duplicates who are now killing everyone in Narg.
Scram is going to have a hard time leaving Luthael behind...not sure how to play this. Will wait for Gunnar's in-character post I suppose.

Gunnar has a remaining 5th level spell that can let our group fly if we get to an outside exit, but it will cause him to stop concentration on Banishment. Banishment only lasts for one minute anyway, so it may be a non issue. We could also go back to the way we came in, but if we time it wrong we could be ascending into dragon fire…
Gunnar’s idea is to get to safety, then look for Luthael and Raseri—in the shadow roads if necessary—once we are out from under the dragon’s wrath zone.
