Adamantine Weapons
Adamantine is an ultrahard metal found in meteorites and extraordinary mineral veins. In addition to being used to craft adamantine armor, the metal is also used for weapons.

Melee weapons and ammunition made of or coated with adamantine are unusually effective when used to break objects. Whenever an adamantine weapon or piece of ammunition hits an object, the hit is a critical hit.

The adamantine version of a melee weapon or of ten pieces of ammunition costs 500 gp more than the normal version, whether the weapon or ammunition is made of the metal or coated with it.

I thought about getting an adamantine sword myself, but armor was the bigger priority.

I didn't. I only sold the treasure. The useful objects I thought were better to keep.

Cheers folks.

So, would it be possible to get a silvered adamantine halberd? Or to upgrade the one Horat has already?

Yes silvered is fine for the normal 100 go price.

Unless it's some kind of one-use alchemical silvering like Pathfinder's weapon blanch, I'm not sure silvered adamantine weapons are a thing. To my knowledge, your weapon is either made of silver or it's made of adamantine.

Oh I see. No that doesn't really make sense to me. You can pick silver or adamantine. And you're really not missing out by not having it be adamantine. You don't need to damage objects in a big hurry all that often.

I'll try for uncommon magic items then. He can afford one (maybe) but finding them for sale will be the trick.

1. Headband of Intellect
2. Periapt of Health
3. Cloak of Protection

Alright. You can ask around town where you would find someone who might be able to sell magic items. No shops but there's a chance you could find a willing individual owner. No guarantee they'd have those, though.

We should get the price of the lizard out of the way.

Giant lizard (75 gp)
Bit and bridle (2 gp)
Pack Saddle (5 gp)
Saddlebags (4 gp)
Animal Feed (10 days x 5 cp) = (0.5 gp)
Extra Waterskins (5 x 0.2 gp) = 1 gp

Total = 87.5 gp
Total per player = 17.5 gp

---

Halgrin's wealth 135.13 gp - 17.5 = 117.81

Wrinil, to keep us alive, I've been assuming that you would be willing to use a spell slot to create water once a day. I'm also assuming everyone is buying their own rations.

I have bought my own rations and deducted my amount for the lizard from my sheet. Also, I think purify food and drink would technically give us more water for the same 1st level slot (assuming we can find enough water to purify, that is).

Is anyone riding the lizard? Or just using it to carry stuff. My understanding atm is that Halgrin and Enizver are each riding one.

Yup, Enizver is using it to make up for having short, stubby legs. Plus he can pretty much set up shop up there.

I think I'm finally starting to show the benefit to combining barbarian with fighter. I mean, I took 16 damage, which was reduced to 8. And then gained 6 HP. So all said, my current HP only dropped by 2.

I wonder if Monk would combine well with Barbarian... Need to double check the language on Rage. But I think the trick would be that you had to use unarmed attack with STR and not DEX. It's probably very MAD, though. Still interesting to think about.

Yeah AC would be a problem but hitting hard would not.

Question: So the Staff of the Python item description says the snake regains all HP when returned to staff form. Is it then too game-y if I have Liv fly down to the staff, pick it up, and then re-summon Amari with full HP for her action next round? Or should I try to limit summoning Amari to 1/combat or something?

Hmm I'd say Amari at least needs a short rest to regain hp. So one hour minimum.

For just a little bit. Once we've secured the first room of the entrance, she can wait there with the animals. Less of a chance of her getting picked off by the flying predators. ;-)
