Poseus Murandae |

True, but he is the only one who has surrendered. Either he is sensible, cowardly or both. Outright killing him when he has surrendered is troubling to Poseus, he doesn't want to become the same monster as they are.

Leto Colinaria |

Leto would leave the decision to Poseus as he was the one who caught the snake in the first place.
So perhaps just tell him to leave and never come back? Less trouble than tying him up and lets you keep the action of moving to deal with the snake folk/Orcs that are still alive.
Worst case Poseus can hunt the guy down later with his uber-super tracking skills.

Terquem |
I think I understand that Leto is intent on going to engage the enemies being harassed by Mina, Calex, and Riku to the south. It will take all of Round 7 and 8 to get within Melee reach of them, and by then Calex, Riku, and Mina may figure out what you are doing, or not, let's see what happens.
Also, I am sorry I was ill and things slowed down a bit too much. We seem to have lost three of the four new players who were so eager to Join this game.
I suppose I could make an in game post and use DM fiat to say "Alfred, Anima, and Arvil are all woken up in the Inn and join Patricia and Marwan on the hike into the marshes"
But, then I feel it really wouldn't be much of a "role playing game" after all.

Leto Colinaria |

That sounds accurate, though if I could amend my actions Leto would not to get anywhere near the horrible grasping vines of sickness.
Once entering an appreciable range Leto would begin hucking his alchemical bombs at various targets, either to scatter them into the forests or to get them to come over and fight him.
As to our new players, that is a shame. hopefully they come back and try to catch up.

Mina Gemblossom |

What about the nearer less graspy vines of no sickness? :)
Mina prepared a pair of entangle spells, knowing she'd be seeing a camp full of orcs.
She also gave her weapon to the guys freeing you to arm the prisoners. (A small masterwork light crossbow, with twenty bolts) I believe Riku did the same.

Leto Colinaria |

Good to see you Avrid.
Regardless of the grasp-y level of said vines I think leto is quite happy to stay outside of their reach.
Leto also isn't really aware of any of your plans and just intends to blow up some orcs with his bombs.
Last I recall one of the NPC's took the provided crossbow to aid in the escape.

Mina Gemblossom |

Alrighty, I probably missed it, but it was also an extension of why Mina wasn't... yanno... attacking. :)

Leto Colinaria |

As presiding master of tentacles I think the monsters would disagree on the not attacking aspect of things.
Also as they are free you might consider picking up a sling. Not that it will matter much as you are unlikely to be separated from your weapon often. Good to have as a back up though.

Arvid Songstál |

Ah... I thought I already did. If not, yeah, fine time-skipping to wherever we are now; Arvid was going to sing a marching song to get the recruitments there faster.

Okay - so here it is. I will try to update all my games this weekend, really try, and keep at it through the weekend and into next week. Okay?
I had a CT scan on Monday, the results weren't the best. I am scheduled for a surgery on Oct. 27 to remove something from my head that cannot be treated with drugs, but it is not in my brain, and is not supposed to be any kind of cancer, just something that needs to be taken out. There is, as always, a tiny, tiny chance of complications including vision problems - BUT I intend to keep doing this until I am forced to stop.

Terquem |
Getting closer to surgery day, I want to wrap up the battle at the tafganor camp and set up an encounter with some Fulogh Mogobbh in the marshes where Patricia and the new volunteers are traveling.
I hope to post in game thread today.
Also, I will be closing down two other games of mine (consolidating them into one new game thread) so hopefully I will have more time for all of my other games soon.

Terquem |
Arvid and Marwan :oole like I could not get a response from the other recruited new character so it is only the two of you with Patricia, who is a level 4 warrior. A new encounter map, fen encounter map, is posted (a link to the map in my drop) I will roll the save against the Slumber hex and put up a round one combat post today, I hope.
Remember everyone, surgery is this Tuesday, I am sorry for all the delays, some of it is because of my eye, but some of it is because I am closing two games to open one in the place of those two. I hope you can stick with me through this week.

Mina Gemblossom |

I have been suffering from anxiety and depression for a long while now. It's finally come to a head, and I'm doing what I can to remove some of the triggers that are negatively impacting me. A lot of what I'm dealing with is irrational, getting angry for really stupid reasons... but one of the things that has been frustrating me is this game. Very little of that is on you, Terquem. Part of it is speed, of course, but player speed has a huge impact there, and attentiveness is... pretty low in this campaign. I can honestly say I'm far less attentive than I should be. Even still...
Regardless... despite the bad timing, I'd really like to slip out of the campaign whenever it's possible to do so. I don't want to drag your world down with me, and I just don't feel like I fit in the world at the pace it moves. When I've made two meaningful actions in five months... and that's how long the single fight has been going... :(

Terquem |
No worries Mina. Take care of yourself. here is what I will offer you
This group, Calex, Mina, Riku, Poseus and Leto will lead the Gymnaga folk back to Woodbridge post haste (this will be a narrative effort on my part, while I try to get the other battle finished, and then get those new players to Woodbridge as well).
Mina will fade into the background of the Woodbridge situation where she can always return if that is something you want to do in the future.
Good luck, and be well.

Mina Gemblossom |

Alright. Thank you very much for understanding. Do you need for me to stick around to finish out the fight?

Calex |

I'll be sorry to see you go Mina. I don't think we could have pinned the baddies down as effectively without your character's input. But as Terquem said, at the end of the day, this is just a game. Life always takes front stage, and I wish you all the best.
Speaking of life issues- Good luck with your surgery tomorrow Terquem. I'll have Calex mix up some healing potions for you. ;D

Terquem |
I am feeling well enough to start getting back to updating games. It will be slow at first, maybe two or three games today, and then the rest will follow through the weekend.
I appreciate everyone’s patience.
I’ll start each game post with a review, to try and bring everyone back to where we were when we left off, and a prompt to getting us moving again.
I imagine it will take some time for everyone to realize the games are going to get moving again.
Again, thank you.

Terquem |
Poseus, Riku, and Calex each receive
500 experience points for rescuing the people of MacNorra House
It will take the rest of Day 11, and most of Day 12 to reach Woodbridge.
Marcus and Robert will search for Auria and the Fen Encounter will be dealt with before we return to Poseus, Riku and Calex

"At 3rd level and every 3 levels thereafter, a skald learns a rage power that affects the skald and any allies under the influence of his inspired rage."
and
"The wielder of a weapon enhanced by this raging song counts as if he were under the effect of an inspired rage raging song for all purposes involving the skald's rage powers."
And errata suggests that it's tied to the Skald's Cha.
