He notes Mel has left the room then "Come on, lets go into the dance hall and see if the lovely Ms Waverider has come up with some songs for us to move to"
He takes Ginni by the hand and they walk into the hall, where Melody is performing her song. They stand there quietly until she finishes, then Ace claps slowly "Wow Melody, that was beautiful" He says sincerely.
"Haruka, no! No, attacking students! Not even if they smell like really big mice!" she scolded the lynx, pulling her off of Albin. "Sorry, Albin. Haruka hasn't been around people before. She doesn't know any better. It won't happen again."
Vai begins to look worried as Tryko'Sam seems to dismiss injuries in general out of hand. "Well... apparently you can't just ignore the injuries, at least to your head. That would explain why you forgot meeting me yesterday."
"Wait... so you got to Agartha by... floating here? Through space?" That gives Vai pause, as she thinks of just what that would entail. "That... I'm amazed you actually hit a planet instead of something else. I can't imagine how boring that would be... how fast were you going? Oh right... I guess you probably couldn't really tell." While the blonde half-elf/dragon girl seems intensely curious about all this, she still hasn't taken a step closer to Tryko'Sam... probably that personal space issue she was talking about.
"I guess so, huh. Well, there you go. Brain went boom. Simple explanation. Can't quite guess why though. Maybe the landing or something caused an issue." He steps off the scanner eventually and says while looking thoughtful, "I was hanging out with that ... little girl, and some other -- snake girl, right, cooked meats and sauce. Rena. I mean, snake thing, with wings. Vare's friend. She might join up as a student, I think? Just needs arms or something magical to help her with that."
Chuckling at Vai as he walks a bit closer, but no intruding on personal space unless less than six feet is an issue, he adds, "Yeah- well, I do remember some seriously gorgeous space scenes. Nebula, stars, blackness... no idea about speeds. Maybe that's why things are so fuzzy, too much out there time."
When the offer of a mirror is given, Tryko'Sam shrugs and says, "Hell, sounds good. A part of doesn't want to know the past, which is odd, then there's the part of me that's naturally curious -- so, sure. I mean, for some people, losing memories is a nightmare, right? I get the gut feeling this has happened a lot."
Again, fairly casual about his personal injuries. "So, now what? Mirror? let it go? Figure out who attacked me. If it was an attack? Wouldn't want someone getting away with that. Yeah, now that I think about it, if someone tried to kill me, that'd be illegal here, right? I think I know which alley it was. Plus, there was that little girl and the patchwork dog, oh-- and the Professor Vare. He was there, after I got up to help the girl. Something about a power she had, family didn't like it, maybe a new student."
"If remorhaz made this stuff, I doubt you could, Dave. Jeran, can you and Dave break through the door to the other room too?"

and with the wave of her wand. the dance hall lights change again with laser lights and strobe effects.

Mel opens the dancing tunes with this song, volume pumped up.

"Kuros is mostly autonomous, and I'm pretty sure killing is illegal there... not sure if they've got proper laws setup or anything yet... it's been growing so faster after all, they're barely keeping up with housing needs." Vai says, rattling off stuff that James had said to her. "So yeah.. I'd be illegal to kill someone... but more importantly than that, if someone is out hurting people, we shouldn't just let that be. Not everyone can regenerate." Vai says with a bit of a sardonic tone at the end there, but a smile too, so it's obviously a joke. She doesn't take a step away or anything, so six feet must be fine. Probably just direct contact, or feeling crowded, would be what she doesn't like.
"Well, if you want to go into space again, and see those things... now might not be the best time. We could take a shuttle, but the Empire is on high alert, so we don't really wanna risk energy signatures leaving this system."

Phaezeriel is silent for a moment, when he replies his thoughts are just a bit pedantic, ::In general to sow discord, to spoil things which are good. For example this situation has damaged the relationship between you and Jaiye. For some of the more subtle fiends, it is better to despoil something lovely than to destroy it utterly. Or to destroy it slowly and in stages. If the target is larger than the two of you, they could be aiming to discredit Avalon, sow discord on Agartha, ruin the High Seers, or any number of other very long-reaching goals. But given the kind of fiend necessary to apply that Mark, I would say most likely ... all of the above. Or as many of the above as possible, and likely some things I have not even considered.::

And if not then he can at least give us more information than we have. And if there is a small child who should potentially enroll at the school, then I definitely have an interest in that and should almost certainly go and speak with the child's parents."

I brought Zren and Rikken because I thought they might work well with Melody for her band...she still needs percussionists....although so does Dom. But these guys I think would work better with Melody, especially since they already get along so well with Vai and she's in Melody's band too."

"Term of affection, I assure -- Well, I suppose it is, your Headmistressness. Oh, hey. Maybe this is a situation for that 'team' to handle like earlier in Kuros?"
Again, he stands there grinning after saying that.

"Yeah, not so much. I'm over the power trip thing. I was kidnapped as a baby and raised by demons. I spent my formative years conquering worlds for s&~!s and giggles...not my idea of a good time anymore. And I tended to prefer being called Your Supreme Highness back then anyways," she added, clearly joking at the last part.
"As far as the team thing is concerned, you should suggest that to the student council president. Maybe get it recognized as a club. It's a good idea."

Tyrrin floats back down and along with the group, a good deal of her focus still on maintaining her illusion. That way at least there would be some obstacle if they did rouse the anger of the remorahz.

Vai, who had been quietly standing to the side, demure in her manners - once again playing the shy girl, all the fierceness from before having slowly drained away as the scans and conversation took place. She does still seem intensely curiously, but definitely quieter now.
"Um... Pheebs? One of your students I think." Vai says, motioning to Lang standing nearby.
"I was part of Avalon's best band, Melody, I don't mind your music one bit. As long as you're better than Avalanche." He adds, shuddering in horror.
"Vai's coming too?"
"Yeah, Vai's been hanging out with us a lot this year so far, and Melody is her new roommate."
"And I'm pretty sure Fi would have some things to say about Fly Free being Avalon's best band."

As they make their way down out of the observatory, Ehos takes Jaiye's hand if she'll allow it, and follows Phaeze down the stairs. At one point, Ehos turns and stops, hugging Jaiye fully, his telepathy for her only. ::I'm so sorry. Whatever Phaeze says about me being more susceptible or coerced, I still made the choice. I still hurt you. And I'm going to try my best to fix it. Alright??::
