"It may be awesome, but it's impractical. a mace can be held in one hand, and does it's job just as well. The only thing the scythe is good at is severance and beheadment. In that regard, it nearly unsurpassed. It is cool looking though."
she seems unnaturally happy. She doesn't notice that she may be upsetting you at all.
"Nuh huhn, my dad taught me how to use the scythe and he's the best at useing them in existence, lord pain, our.... Uuh.. Security head, uses a mace, and dad can beat him up, scythes are better" he folds his arms as though there is no argument with his superior logic.

He looks vindicated "and what's your weapon of choice, I mean whichever you choose says a lot about you, my mom does guns, my sister usually does rapiers, what do you use?"
"I typically don't fight. If i need to, i cast a spell fooling the enemy into healing me instead, and jabby and i leave.
If i really had to, i could drive my opponent insane, leave them a stuttering mess, and have the thingamahwhats rip them to shreads."
that cheery tone is still ever-present.

"It's okay if you don't know anything about healing. A lot of what I need help with is very basic. Things like cleaning cages, changing water and food in their bowls, playing with the animals so they don't get too bored...that sort of thing. Most of what I do there is pretty basic anyway. I'm really bad at magical healing. It kinda...comes and goes."

He tells Tare trying to make small talk.

If the incidents began before you went to town I suspect the head trauma happened while you were in space or during your entry to the atmosphere. If something impacted you in the head your regenerative process would just heal around it. It's possible that what happened was those same regenerative processes expelling the foreign particle rather violently...it may have been as small as a pebble. The memory damage would have happened on the way in and on the way out. I can ask Mom to check the security logs to make sure whether your memories of fainting in the halls are accurate."

He shakes himself and sparks of purple 'lectricity' jump and dance over him.
"Ya." He smiles full of thin, pointy, jagged teeth. "Well, kinda three. Three for you. I wish he could talk to me too so I could know what goes on."

"It's just that you are claiming insanity talks to you" he looks off into the middle distance, "no shut up, you're different, I'm not crazy.... Shut up!"

she pauses for a moment.
"You were off-world today, entered into a pocket dimension, and fought firebirds."
"So there are any of dozens of ways you could know that, we were just talking about it rather loudly while riding horses, what else have you got" he looks amused
"But was i there when you were riding the horses? Hmm?"
"I can't see invisible creatures, and I wasn't paying much attention to people outside our group, and that wasn't the only time we talked about it"
she shrugs.
"I know I'm telling the truth, so that's all that matters, son of Mandy and grim."
