"Good point." He pulls a rope out of his pocket continuously for ten feet. He ties one end around his waist and runs the excess back into his pocket. He hands the end to Dave. "Can you tow me as we hike? I can keep up my concentration on the snow that way." He closes his eyes and the snow around them in a dome falls away and not on them. It extends a ways away as well. He pulls his legs up into a meditation position and floats at eye level. "Its like pulling a balloon along. Except I'm more helpful than a balloon."

Tyrrin Denulia |

"A psionic healer is he? Interesting. Of course, I will allow it." Tyrrin says, her elven eyes still focused on the snow-draped shroud of a mountain ahead of them.
"Well done Tybalt. I wish we could do something about visibility. I don't suppose you can extend the effect further? It would be very easy for something to take us by surprise in these conditions."

Tybalt Baneko |

"I don't know what that means, but I trust you so, sure." He says with his eyes remaining closed.

Vare, the Summoner |

"He said that, did he?"
Vare had finally been re-united with Rena, after a somewhat frantic bout of searching on both of their parts, and now they were both in an empty teacher's lounge, discussing their previous evenings while Vare studied his patchwork spell book at one of the desks. To anyone who would enter, it would appear to them that he was convering with the air, or perhaps with himself. "And what do you think? Would you like to be a student here? I could give you a humanoid form, if you would like that."
Vare grimaces at bit at that, remembering the events of the previous evening, and says with an uncharictaristic amount of sarcasm in his voice. "I'm not sure if the Headmaster would allow us to speak if you were a student. He seems rather touchy about that."

Rena, the Companion |

Rena, comfortably lounging on her home plane, with a part of her tail resting on Vare's foot for comfort, replies back to that, tapping him on the top of his head with the tip of her tail. In the Material Plane, Vare's hair seems to shift without any cause. "Don't be like that Vare. I know you are angry at him, but he has to think about the welfare of his students. For most of the students, this is their home. As a teacher, you hold a great authority in the school, and I believe the Headmaster fears a teacher abusing this power to control students in an unsavory way."
Rena was trying to play the Devil's Advocate here, but the truth was that Vare's version of the events felt.. strange. Why hadn't the Headmaster spoke to Anahita as well?
"Vare," she says warmly, stroking her feathered tail across his now-shaved chin. He shivers slightly at the sensation, still sensitive where he had shaved after so long. "I know you care about her, but the reality is... you probably deeply offended her. She saw you take the Headmaster's side, at least initially. I sincerly hopes she will forgive you, but... well." Rena doesn't finish the thought, moving towards him and nuzzling him instead. "Don't worry about whether or not I can be a student right now. Maybe I'll come Out again in a little bit, and go meet more people. I really did enjoy myself last night. Tryko'Sam is very... I think I'm using this word correctly: cool."

But it is also true that people my...our age also can see things without the blinders of prejudice. we are far more understanding to the truth than to lies or omissions in the name of protecting the innocent.
Lang stop and backs down some realizing he may be speaking out of place toward a superior but only enough to show Sorchan respect.
Lang bows to him, I'm sorry if I spoke out of place but I would be doing a disservice to myself withholding my thoughts
Sorchan was about to speak in anger when he was stopped by a gentle hand on his shoulder.
"That's enough, Lang. Whether destroying the sun was the right decision or not, changing course now would only reignite the civil war that began yesterday. Too many have died already. Tradition can be an immensely destructive force. Terrible things have been done here by people who might have been good in other circumstances. There is a difference between lack of prejudice and lack of information," Pyra said, her tone gentle, but firm.

Ginni, before we start what can you tell me about Tam? I don't want to see Dom hurt. I've never seen so in love with someone and he is afraid of the future with her. I need to help, I don't think I can bear any more of his pain than I already do.
"Tami is my best friend, so I'm probably pretty biased here. She's gracious, generous, a good listener, really irritable in the mornings, good at solving people problems, fun-loving, impulsive...and when she comes back from a visit home for the first day or two she is stiff, every reaction under tight control, constantly looking over her shoulder like she expects someone to be watching her. Kitty Tanaka |

Headmaster Ryo wrote:"You have my permission. Give me a few moments to look, and you can go." His eyes cloud over, like grey mist covers them. "They are about an hour away from the school, almost direct east. There is a bridge that crosses a river there, so if you find the river, follow it to the bridge.""Domo Arigatou, Sensei. Please ensure Balckscales-sensei gets our message. She would be very angry with us if she thinks we left without permission." Midori straightens finally and looks and Kitty and then to her other friends. "Mina-san, Ikimasu!!" the little ninja says excitedly half-walking and half-running in the direction of the front doors.
"Hang on, Mi-chan! I need to go get some supplies, and we should all at least take enough food for lunch, ne? Plus, I want to ask Michael if he can come with as well...How about we meet at the doors in fifteen minutes?"

"Ace" |

"I'm about to teleport to Kuros to help deal with this demonic summoning that I am guessing has gone very wrong. I know you're helping Melody, but I wanted to give you a heads up. This time I can actually control my being teleported" He says with a wry smile.

Ephebe |

"Nope. I'm three. I don't know all that much. But I learn fast, I've been surviving in the wilderness with jabby for two years."
"Well, we'll start with the basics then, and work from there."
"Inside the school the rooms change sometimes. If you need to know how to get somewhere put your hand on the wall and think of the person or place you're looking for and arrows will light up along the wall or floor leading you to that person or place. You'll be given a room in the dorms and food is provided free of charge in the cafeteria. School uniforms are also provided for you."
She sagged with relief as the pain was finally removed from her.
"Do you have any other questions?"

"Fine," Jeran agreed tersely before shifting into his wolf form. He was definitely on the large side for a wolf, his fur a deep black that stood out against the snow. He sniffed the air, padding forward just a little, watchful for the presence of enemies.

"You got it." The dome moves further out with a circumference of about 100 feet in all directions. It flattens the snow that is there out into easier to manage flat areas.

Fei, of the Sun Soul |

"We have to go now, now. Phaezeriel says there's a fiend killing people in the north section of Kuros... looks like a warehouse of some kind. Let's hurry." Vai reverts to her half-elf size and casts Haste on Ace, Fei, Dom, Tamina and herself. "Ace, Fei, we'll see you there. Fei... stay safe, please." that last is said almost pleadingly, and then Vai quickly leads Dom and Tamina outside, their steps boosted considerably by Vai's spell.
[i]Fei nods. "I will be careful. You do the same, meldanya."
He follows the three outside, and once Dom and Tamina have secured themselves he nods to them all and then turns his thoughts inward. He reaches out with his senses, locating a spot where the need for courage was stronger than normal. He focuses on that point, and wills himself there....
Probably my only post until tomorrow morning, so no real rush on this one.

Tybalt Baneko |

"Hey Onei. As we walk can you tell us what we should know about the other books? Past experience or stuff? Like if we see it can I just blink over and get or or do you have to touch it first or stuff like that?" He asks but doesn't open his eyes or move anything but his mouth.

Ehos Denulia |

Acrobatics vs. Yrrin's CMD: 1d20 + 26 ⇒ (20) + 26 = 46
Ehos easily slides around the holy warrior blocking him, lashing out with all the emotion of a conflicted and emotionally confused adolescent elf, at any outlet: in this case - the demonic entity there.
Provoking at least one AoO in his charge.
Ehos infuses his temporary weapon with arcane power flowing through his fingers, and strikes the demon with all the finesse and strength he can muster in his weakened state.
Attack /w improvised club (Arcane Strike): 1d20 + 26 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (8) + 26 + 2 - 4 = 32
Damage (if hit): 1d6 + 4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 3 = 9
Despite the young elf's best efforts, the worst he managed to do was annoy the powerful Demoness, though he is completely silent through the whole effort, unable to make a noise.

Tyrrin Denulia |

Er tyrrin right?" Pause " will have to keep an extra close eye on keeping you ship shape"
"Do not worry, I will be focusing entirely on healing, and beyond that, ensuring our enemies cannot hurt us. Preventative healing, if you will." Tyrrin says casually, and then listens as Tybalt poses his question, equally as eager to know more about what they might be facing.

Vai Sunwake |

Dom nodded to Vai and followed her out. Once she wanted them saddle up, Dom offered to help Tami into the saddle. He quickly hopped on behind her. He wrapped his arms around Tami for support, though he didn't the position he was in, he felt a bit dirty being upon the back of a fellow student while embracing her.
Vai turns her neck to look at her passengers, and sees Dom's hands around Tami's fairly uncovered waist. She looks away towards Kuros, wings spread. "Ready? Hold on!" and Vai uses her powerful muscles to leap skyward. She flaps her wings hard for altitude. Two people was definitely the limit, at least until she got bigger. She beats her wings hard, making for Kuros at speed.

While the conflict in Kuros was underway, not too far from the Warehouse in question, some of the local shops and the like were reacting to the nightmarish event unfolding!
With points and screams by nameless others, through the horrific cries and cheers while stalwart elves struck multi-armed demons, and noble paladins endeavored to defend life, a single voice breaks out down the road...
"FIRE!!! FIRE!!!" Sure enough, in the distance, one of the shops was engulfed in flames...
This only added to the chaos!

Seeing one of his few friends in danger, Phaezeriel throws caution to the wind. His primary mind hurls raw telekinetic power at the demon, while his secondary mind attempts to gather both Ehos and the strange armored figure into a collective.

Tryko'Sam |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |

Tryko'Sam waves unconsciously as the smaller members of the Peace Expeditionary Force (PEF) ran off, taking the flying Zilla and the sky Hew.
"Heh, that's kind of cute-- in a way. In fact, this whole situation is kind of adorable."
Whether or not he's talking to Ryo or Kitty isn't clear, could be he's talking to himself aloud (most likely).
"Alrighty, sounds like we have fifteen minutes to prepare, kiss our last goodbyes and make off to resolve war between the deadly ninja clans. Food for the trip? Really? Just a ...lunch? This isn't going to be a week long excursion or something?"
>> [i]I remember reading a module like this once-- it never is short. Huh. Guess we'll see.[i] <<
On that note, he looks to Kitty and says, "I'll go wait at the front doors, right? Hour away from here is nothing, we could get there really quick.. just saying." He grins at the notion, waves and seems to head off adding, "Don't keep me waiting too long. I get impatient sometimes."
Off Tryko'Sam goes, heading for the front doors. Walking the halls, again.

Lurch the Narrator |

Two hissing voices sound from the shadows, speaking Abyssal in perfect unison.
The sound of large wingbeats can be heard from the back of the warehouse. Three massive shapes fly past the Marilith and Yrrin, just out of reach of their swords sword, and they all strike with knives made of flickering black flame at a figure none can see, then out into the street.
Damage: 1d6 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14.
Fiend 2 Fly-By Attack: 1d20 + 29 ⇒ (14) + 29 = 43.
Damage: 1d6 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16.
Fiend 3 Fly-By Attack: 1d20 + 29 ⇒ (9) + 29 = 38.
Damage: 1d6 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16.
The first two fiends' knives strike home in something, dark blood flashing through the air, but the last slashes through thin air.

Voice of Awesomeness |

Before Yrrin has a chance to attack the demon, she brings several of her weapons to strike the elf who dared attempt to harm her. The bloody blade, frozen mace, spiked shield and wicked axe are all brought to bear on Ehos.
1d20 + 35 ⇒ (15) + 35 = 50 for 2d6 + 8 ⇒ (4, 2) + 8 = 14 and 2 bleed
1d20 + 35 ⇒ (14) + 35 = 49 for 2d6 + 8 ⇒ (5, 5) + 8 = 18 and 1d6 ⇒ 2 cold
1d20 + 35 ⇒ (8) + 35 = 43 for 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12 and 1d6 ⇒ 2 acid
1d20 + 35 ⇒ (5) + 35 = 40 for 2d8 + 8 ⇒ (6, 2) + 8 = 16 and 2d6 ⇒ (3, 5) = 8 Vicious
She then hefts her spear and throws it at the fleeing half-gnoll, pinning his shoulder to the far wall, as her whip strikes out and trips up Damaris dragging her to the ground. Her tail then coils around one of the other summoners, and starts to the squeeze the life out of him.

Ehos Denulia |

Ehos, in his weakened state, is completely impaled, slashed, and broken by the demon's merciless assault, and is smashed to the ground by the final blow of the mace, lifeless, gore covering his body. He neither cried out, nor does his body make any noise as he strikes the hard floor of the warehouse. His mind leaves the collective Phaezeriel just established.
That is enough damage to outright kill Ehos at the current time.

Phaezeriel |

Phaezeriel watches, helpless, as Ehos is destroyed. The mental scream that tears through the mind of everyone within a 550 foot radius is wordless and so full of pain and rage that several of the townspeople simply fall unconscious as their minds are overwhelmed.
Phaezeriel's secondary mind re-writes some of the choices Phaezeriel made earlier in his life, then attempts to crush the psyche of the demoness.
Manifest Psychic Reformation, new feat selections.

Phaezeriel's primary mind reaches into the fourth dimension to force the Marilith to relive it's future death, twice.
First manifester level check: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (13) + 20 = 33; success.
