In a seductively hissing voice, full of command, the fiend asks "Where is the sacrifice?"
He looks at the imbecile. "She has a snake body and a kadgillion arms and those are what you see first?!"
He had thought upper class men were the smart ones. Well he had heard rumors that Bobby was on his eighth year there. Maybe they werent just rumors . . . .
Still holding her hand he walks with her to the lunch room. After making there way through the line and finding a seat. "I have been thinking are there any groups here like my order. If there are. I feel I should give them some of my knowledge."

Jeran shrugged. "It's fine. The thing about being a leader is that you're always a leader even when you're not in charge. I made a lot of mistakes at it, and I would feel like I was shortchanging you if I didn't at least give you the opportunity to learn from my mistakes rather than having to repeat them for yourself."
"I appreciate it. Perhaps I've spent too much time studying leadership theory to bother actually... leading. I guess I need practical experience. I never thought I would say this... too much time in the library." She said with a wry half-smirk. "Shall we try this again?"
"Ah. Dog." He says in mock horror.
"I dunno. Its. . . . " he checks his watch. "Been an extra 15 from when we were supposed to be here."
"Bark bark" he says deadpan. He then stands up and stretches, cleaning himself off, and sits on the wall, "when's everybody going to get here?"
"Well, I'm sure Tyrrin and Jeran will be finished with their discussion in a minute. And the rest of you are here except Oneiro. Oh, I'm not going after all. Ghalen is going instead."
"Do you want me to try to track down Oneiro and figure out why he's late?"
"Aw. You can have this anyways." He removes her jacket from the bag of holding. "Bound to get cold at some point." He stands and hands it to her. "Let's give him another couple minutes."

Tyrrin re-entered the room, with Jeran shortly behind her, and glanced around, looking back at her work for a moment but then at Tybalt and David. "I apologize for my abruptness earlier. As long as we are waiting for Oneiro, why don't we all get acquainted? Tyrrin Denulia is my name. I specialize in magic relating to the sky, both divine and arcane."

"There are none that I am aware of, but Agartha is not a terribly unified world. Lots of pockets of civilizations that don't communicate much with everyone else. It's probably worth researching in the library. If there is any such order there would be a record of it there," she said, digging into a hearty breakfast of sausage, scrambled eggs, and grilled tomatoes.
"We will. I think we can get through this as long as we can stay off each other." He smiles.
Tyrinn comes in. "Its fine. I'm Tybalt. I do ice stuff and I'm good with teleporting and going unnoticed." The catfolk seems generally happy and has a Hawaiian shirt and shorts on. His tuxedo pattern covers him over with glove and sock patterns of white jet black fur covers his back and most of his tail going up to the top of his head. He has a royal blue, teal and purple streak each in his hair just a little longer than his fur. Instead of his usual amount of assorted bling he has a ring of black and purple on his right ring finger and a simple gold one one his right index. He has a blue, silver, gold and black amulet each, around his neck. A large faced steel watch is on his left wrist. He stands all of 4'2 and floats about a foot and a half above the ground. He does not wear any shoes. A pale blue tint is visible in the skin of his ears. He has icy blue eyes. A hedgehog adorns his left shoulder. Over his right shoulder three bags of holding are slung. His staff rests against the wall in the corner of the room.
"No sacrifice? Then, you are forfeit"
The demoness flourish each hand, and a weapon appears in them one by one. A fiery whip, a dark sword that drips blood, a spear that crackles with electricity, a wicked looking axe, a spiked shield and mace covered in frost.

"ohhhh sh..." the rest of his word is gagged upon as he backs away and moves toward the door in a slow shuffle
"Yeah, of course," she said with a wan smile to Ace's assurances about the whispering. She'd been driven out of too many places to believe easily that things would be okay. She was just hoping to be proven wrong.
Her attention was abruptly taken up by Melody and her strange reaction to Fei and Vai.
"Melody, I think you've been using some sort of telepathic power. How else would you be able to transmit someone else's memories? But then you keep losing time...hmmm...Just now you lost time when something triggered those memories that are still trapped in your mind. I bet if we studied it we'd find that all your other missing moments are gone for the same reasons."
"I shall do that. Besides there is much of your world I would like to learn." He tells her before eating his eggs and fruit.
Ace takes hold of Ginni's hand under the table and gives it a solid squeeze "If anything happens, we handle it together. I'm here for you, no matter what" He say with confidence, hoping this last will finally ease her mind.
In response to what his girlfriend said about Melody he says "That sounds like it might be possible. Does this school have anybody that specializes in Time Magic? Also, maybe Miss Jones can be of some help."
"Your lifestream tells me that your somehow being placed in a hypnotic trace. So I agree that you should talk to a teacher about this." Dom looks extremely worred for Mel.
Melody looks a it concerned
"I don't want to forget everything, Vai I remember now talking about this yesterday."
She looks around at everyone threre "I feel fine now, I,m sorry Fei, you didn't do anything. "
"I still remember all my music so that is good right?"
Tuning to Dom, Maybe I should but later, I promised Vai I would meet some new drummers today... see I remembered that."
"I think I will take a walk, anyone want to come along?"

after a few more minutes Melody stops abruptly. she looks up
what is everybody looking at? did somebody write on my face? she puts her hands over her face trying to rub off anything that might be there.
"Melody.. you had another episode, like Dom said. What's the last thing you remember?" Vai asks worriedly, glancing back momentarily towards Fei, as if seeking guidance, or perhaps reassurance from him.
"You said... you said you could feel everything I felt, after you shook hands with Fei."
Melody looks at Vai a bit confused another episode? what kind of episode?
she tries to recall what was the last thing she remembered. I remember shaking hands with Fei then suddenly everyone was staring at me.
Melody starts looking at everyone is something wrong with me? why would I feel what you feel, vai? I'm no psychic or anything.
She looks at Fei Why do I feel like I know you, like we we have known each other for a while?
"We....have not," Fei replies curiously. "I think the assessment of the others is correct, though - we should refer you to the Infirmary or a teacher before one of these episodes actually causes you harm."
Melody is trying to hide the fact she is afraid, she wants to be strong but is actually terrified

Dom looks at Mel with concern written across his face. "I'll come with you Mel." Anyone would notice Dom had yet to start on his breakfast. "Tami go ahead and finish your meal I'm sure Ginni has a lot to talk to you about." He gave her a charming smile before he kissed her forehead. Dom was slightly hoping she would come with them but realized that she needed time away from him at some point.
Tryko'Sam watches the little pixie floating around and what not and grins adding to her question, "I .. am pretty sure I do not. Hello Zilla."He grins though, seemingly unafraid of the query or the scrutiny.
Zilla smiles real big. "Why not? You look like you take care of your self quite well." She gigles slightly. "Or is it you just have found that right girl?" She takes a shy looking pose.

Ghalen has been quietly observing his "teams" interactions, seemingly unamused with all of the ice antics. He waits stoicly as Tyrrin and Jeran head off. When they return, Ghalen waits his turn to speak.
"I am Ghalen Kiln, former Imperial Inquisitor. I am combat trained, and skilled in espionage and infiltration. I am also share immunities and natural abilities of a red dragon, and can take it's form, if necessary. My spell repertoire is mostly also combat and infiltration oriented, but I do have access to minor healing spells, should the need arise. In the Imperial Navy I held the rank of Lieutenant, and am officer trained. I also have other skills, but while handy I do not believe they will be of much use during our mission."
with that last bit he bows and winks at Tyrrin, with a smirk.

"Pleased to meet you both. It is good to know we have skilled people with us. I suspect this will not be an easy trip." Tyrrin says conversationally, returning Ghalen's smirk in a surreptitious way. He was right about the other skills, that was no boasting.
"The school has been informed that we are leaving as well, so hopefully if we all die, they will be able to ressurect us." she adds on, though the wry smile means that that was probably a joke.

Anyways, if you don't learn how to sort of wall off your own psyche it's easy to get confused about what thoughts are yours and what aren't. That's what I think I can show you how to do, protect your own mind even if you deliberately come in contact with someone else's....but I am technically still an amateur at this, so maybe you should just talk to a teacher."

Appearing from seemingly nowhere, that bleach-white gnome is suddenly tagging alongside Ginni and Melody. "Excuse me, Miss Ginni. Is there anything I can do to assist? I noticed the young lady there was having some trouble." He says genuinely, all smiles.
Ace kisses Ginni on the cheek as she offers to go help Melody, but opts to stay behind. If his girlfriend is going to gain any true confidence, she needed to handle some stuff on her own too.

Thanks Ginni, I do hope this will help. all this started when I merged my mind with Vai, I do remember that part. Oh and i remember doing the same thing with Dom a long time ago but I don't remember much about that at all and Dom has no idea about it either
"Oh I almost forgot a couple things. I'm good with traps too. So if this is a temple of some sort I can take care of those things. And I have a good idea for when we set camp up. That should be fun." He says smiling a bit more at the thought of the clever plan he had thought up.

"We can follow him to Kuros in case any demons are actually summoned. If so, we can send them back to the Abyss before they can do harm to the populace. I had to fight several in the school that day...I will do so again if it is necessary," he answers simply. "If lives are about to be put in danger again because of the school's students, we have just as much responsibility to stop it as the teachers do."
Ace in particular would note that there is no hint of vanity or pride in the young monk's voice - just the simple acknowledgment of fact and what he feels should be done. Despite his quiet words, they carry a certain...inspiration to them. ;)
