Krays |

"I just wanted to know if it were possible at this stage. I would not order a thing like that unless Ephebe was ok with it. Our circumstances are interesting enough, I don;t know how extra magic may effect something."

Phaezeriel |

Well, I know that neither sense linking nor sense dulling has any physical effect, but since I know what she is, and I do not know what, exactly, you are, it may be best if we also speak to Lady Ananda.
Phaezeriel winks at Krays conspiratorially, grinning to show the joke, his fang filled mouth making the gesture a little strange.

Fieri Sunwake |

Fieri sat in stunned silence for a moment before falling out of her chair laughing.
"You look like you just escaped from the circus!"

Ephebe |

Ephebe pouted.
"Well, fine. Then I'll just try on this frilly one that Vai liked. Then you can really have a good laugh."
She came back in a couple of minutes with a long-suffering expression on her face. With the ruffles covering what little figure she had and the floral pattern she really did look like she was still a few years away from puberty.
"Can you just imagine how ridiculous this would look when my belly starts getting bigger? I look like a child in this," she grumbled.

Krays |

"That is not a bad idea, Phaezeriel. I will see if she is free later."

Krays |

Thinks more about it
"In fact, I would wager that she may already have something for that, seeing as how she has likely faced the same ordeal...I think after breakfast I'll go see her and ask. Sorry to interrupt your conversation, guys, please continue."
He begins to NOM happily on his breakfast.

Krays |

"Will do!" He says between bites.

Michael Dacamara |

"Looks like the room is about to get a bit crowded. Remember, Saffire, no biting."
Facing Kyuu and Aoi hadn't bothered Michael at all, but he and Kitty weren't outnumbered then. Now that the rest of Kitty's family was almost here though, he found himself getting ready to block any incoming throwing stars. He had to pretend this was like mixing chemicals in the lab, forcing himself to calm down so nothing exploded.

Vai Sunwake |

Vai laughed histerically as Ephebe came out wearing the frilly dress. "Now I get to be the big sister, isn't that right little one?" Vai stands and ruffles Ephebe's hair in a manner similar to what James had done to her. "There there little sis. One day you'll grow up." Vai couldn't resist teasing her sister. Her good mood was only getting better as the day went on.

Ehos Denulia |

It is easier for me to concentrate out here with nature around me.
Ehos knew exactly what Wyrd meant. He takes some time to write out what he wanted to say, and held the notepad out for Wyrd to read. It read: I understand exactly what you mean. My home is among the trees and leaves. The stone of the building seems so unnatural. Ehos allows Wyrd some time to read it, before going back to writing. My name is Ehos Denulia. I am pleased to meet you.

Tyrrin Denulia |

Tyrrin tosses and turns in her sleep, seemingly unable to get comfortable, and having nightmare after nightmare. In her dreams, she saw the sky burning, and the fire spreading down to engulf the people of Agartha. Her people, her home. She awakes in a cold sweat, breathing hard.
Trying to escape the memory of the dream, Tyrrin dressed and heads down to the cafeteria.

Ephebe |

Vai laughed histerically as Ephebe came out wearing the frilly dress. "Now I get to be the big sister, isn't that right little one?" Vai stands and ruffles Ephebe's hair in a manner similar to what James had done to her. "There there little sis. One day you'll grow up." Vai couldn't resist teasing her sister. Her good mood was only getting better as the day went on.
Ephebe grumbled good-naturedly while Vai teased her and Fieri laughed.
"Alright, guys. Take pity on me. My fashion sense stinks. Obviously ruffles don't work. And I'm only good at picking stage costumes since i think the more sequins the better. Pick some stuff for me."

Kitty Tanaka |

Kitty bowed as a middle aged couple entered the room.
"Welcome, Okaa-san, Otaa-san."
She bowed even deeper.
"Welcome, Obaa-sama."
She stood up and grinned, and unable to restrain herself any more threw herself at her parents for a long overdue hug.
"I've missed you all so much."

Michael Dacamara |

Not quite sure wait to be introduced or not, Michael bows as well. Once he's standing upright he tries to figure out who is who. The people Kitty was hugging were probably her parents, and that was Nanami, so the old lady was probably her uncle.
Deciding to wait, Michael sneaks the piece of ceiling he made fall back to it's rightful place and scratches Saffire between his wings, making him meep happily.

"So," the old woman said, eyeing Michael suspiciously. "You must be the boyfriend. Hmmm. Doesn't look like much....Is he at least good in the sack?"
"Obaa-sama!" Kitty exclaimed, horrified, blushing beet red.
"What? You're both healthy teenagers...at least I assume you are....what's wrong? Does his thing not work?" Michael catches the slightest wink from the old 'woman'.
Kitty is sputtering, rendered completely incapable of speech.
"Obaa-sama," Kitty's mother said, reproachfully, "you can't wait to start teasing them until we're finished with proper greeting?"
"I'm old," the old woman said, waving dismissively. "I can't afford to wait around for anything."

Oneiro Mance |

Traveling through the jungle isn't fun, no matter how much Oneiro thought it would have been as a kid. The path was overrun by vines and other plants, making staying on it difficult without cutting them away and slowing them down. It was just past midday when Oneiro stops and motions for the other to follow suit.
"I think we're about to meet the welcoming party." Oneiro explains. The normal sounds of the jungle, the chirping of birds and buzzing of insects, were gone and replaced by a strange silence...
Roll once and look in all of them you passed.

Jeran Darkclaw |

Perception: 1d20 + 25 ⇒ (7) + 25 = 32
Jeran shifted into dire wolf form and padded forward cautiously, keeping himself as much between his party members and the threat as possible.

Ori Reading |

Perception: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (2) + 18 = 20
In spite of her best attempts to stay vigilant, Ori was still oblivious to what was around her.

Fei, of the Sun Soul |

I almost want to meet Obaa-sama now. That commentary was....most unexpected (^-^)

Ghalen Kiln |

Ghalen sits and watches all of the other students interact, and for the first time in a long time feels isolated and alone. It was a good thing, regardless of the side effects, he had his all night training session, for his master's spirit had faded by daybreak. Now he learns he is in the middle of enemy territory, and no one to talk to about it.
He eats his breakfast, and contemplates his next moves...

Kitty Tanaka |

*Meeeeep!* Saffire calls out proudly as he leaps from Michael's hands and flies toward the old woman circling her.
Kitty smiled. "His name is Saffire. He's very smart. He understands what you say, and some of what you spell. He's almost got reading down, but not quite. But he is a bit of a biter," she said, as Saffire landed on Obaa-sama's outstretched arm. She quickly handed Saffire a shuriken to chew on so he wouldn't bite Obaa-sama. "He really likes to eat metal. And fish. He really likes fish. He'll eat himself sick if I let him. And he can spit lightning."
Saffire looked up and belched sparks into the air to prove the point.
"Michael made him for me. In alchemy class," she said proudly.

Tyrrin Denulia |

The cafeteria was busy despite it being so late in the morning. The feeling of forboding left by her nightmares had not subsided, though the memory of the dream itself had gone. Tyrrin looked around, and was shocked to see... a quasit. Here. Sitting and eating in the cafeteria in plain sight of everyone. Her mother had told her that quasit often tricked novice mages into taking them on as familiar, then sought to do dastardly things to that mage. Tyrrin was considering what to do. Perhaps that giant metal man was the quasit's master... or that kobold. It MUST be the kobold. Nasty vile things. Reckless too, if she remembered correctly. She avoided that group like the plague, deciding to observe them instead of immediately attacking. Naturally they must be plotting something.
Keeping an eye on the group of misfits, Tyrrin glances around the cafeteria while waiting in line for food. She notes a younger man, dressed in a strange uniform. She had seen something like that in her mother's relic collection, and the one he wore looked almost perfectly preserved. He must be rich, or otherwise powerful. It was never too early to start making contacts in the school. With her breakfast in hand (it was probably too greasy for her taste, but she had learned to never be on the bad side of kitchen staff), Tyrrin makes her way over to Ghalen and introduces herself. "Good morning, sir. I am Tyrrin Denulia, daughter of High Seer Denulia. Pleased to make your acquaintance. May I join you?"

Vai Sunwake |

"If you want to wear pink," Vai begins, glancing at Fi to make sure she wasn't about to say something. "You should wear things like... this." Vai had been digging through the rack which Fiona had brought out, and came up with a black dress, with a belted empire waistline, which had a slash of neon pink. The dress was very loose fitting, with plenty of space to allow Ephebe to... grow into it. "If you mix pink with other colours, the contrast really makes the pink stand out."

Nala Zamarosok |

Tyrrin, you are going to be in for quite a per-conceived notion breaking time here at Avalon, aren't you?
She's starting to make me look like I was tolerant and open-minded when I got here....

Agarthian Storyteller |

Hey Enre was yelling at his niece a bit ago, granted I was super busy earlier in the week, but I am back now.
Lysander has a bunch of new scars, Michael's about to go confess he almost became a murderer, and Oneiro could die with no chance of coming back too. Can't you just feel the love?

Kitty Tanaka |

"At least he can't think the lab doesn't work now." Michael thinks.
"I made a kitten too, for my little brother. I gave her to him last night though." His face isn't quite as red now, but he's still not back to normal skin tone yet.
"Interesting," Obaa-sama said, carefully examining Saffire. "A very useful skill to have."
"Your young man is starting to look more impressive, Sakura-Neko."
Kitty blushed again.
"You, uh, might not be quite so thrilled when you hear what I have to say next. I...I'm not going to be a shinobi. It's not that I'm that bad at it. If anything I'm too good at it. But it's not what I want and when I'm not true to myself then....well, that's what made me invisible the last two years. I...I want to open up an exotic pet and familiars shop with Michael. I mean, after we graduate of course. I'm really good with animals and I've started studying some nature magic...I'm sure Nanami told you," she said, twisting her hands nervously.
Obaa-sama frowned.
"Sakura-Neko, I know this sounds like a good idea now, but you're still young," her father said quickly, trying to intervene before Obaa-sama lost his temper.

Ephebe |

"If you want to wear pink," Vai begins, glancing at Fi to make sure she wasn't about to say something. "You should wear things like... this." Vai had been digging through the rack which Fiona had brought out, and came up with a black dress, with a belted empire waistline, which had a slash of neon pink. The dress was very loose fitting, with plenty of space to allow Ephebe to... grow into it. "If you mix pink with other colours, the contrast really makes the pink stand out."
"It does look nice," Ephebe admitted as she took the dress to go try on.

Fieri Sunwake |

Fieri gave Vai a thumbs up.
"Good job. I swear that girl cannot be allowed to pick her own clothes...help me separate out some other good items for her," she whispered conspiratorially as she started to rifle through the clothing rack, picking out some cream colored drawstring pants and a loose T-shirt in a dark rose with a discreet sequin pattern.
"She should like this....it's shiny."

Kitty Tanaka |

"No. I'm saying that you don't know what's best for me," Kitty snapped right back. "I ended up completely on my own with no way to get anyone to even know I was there when I was thirteen because I tried so hard to please you that I literally disappeared. I won't do that again. You can get mad at me all you want. You can yell, and scream, and threaten me, and throw shuriken, but I am still done with ninjitsu."

Ghalen Kiln |

"Good morning, sir. I am Tyrrin Denulia, daughter of High Seer Denulia. Pleased to make your acquaintance. May I join you?"
Looks lost in thought for second, then looks up.
"Yes, you may, Tyrinn Denulia, daughter of High Seer Denulia. I am Ghalen Kiln, Emp...errm...student." out of reflex, he checks her outlook...He runs through the gambit of good/evil, law/chaos...he doesn't need to cast to do so
"You new here as well?"

"Obaa-sama, you know that I have always had the greatest respect for you and your kindness in making me welcome in this family even though I came from a rival clan. So please understand that I mean this with the utmost affection. If you threaten or in any way harm my daughter, I will make you a female for real," Kitty's mother said calmly and sweetly. Kitty's father looked completely stunned.
