narrator wrote:"You alright, sis?" Solus asked quietly from where he had been silently observing what was going on."Yeah, I'm fine... Slept in too late, it seems. What's going on?"
hiesta cheers up a little, seeing a friendly face.
"He is offering to take anyone who wants to enroll in the school over to Avalon," he said, nodding towards Sorchan. "It's not a bad offer. They're going to get tired of having us all under foot sooner rather than later. Especially our family...there's so many of us. Lucas went to inquire what the proper procedure was for enrollment...apparently Lily is being a brat about the accommodations...predictable really."

"Sounds... Acceptable. Be better then here... It's so... dismal. All these depressed people don't really help my mood."

Phaedra Svarog |

Pyrrhos Svarog wrote:"Now Lily, try to remember that you are a 'surface dweller' now as well." Pyrrhos points out, stepping out of his tent dressed and ready for the day. "I expected the enrollment offer, and I doubt Mother and Father would be pleased if we took the chance to do."Lily's inside getting changed, but I'm gonna assume we're speaking through tent walls, since they're not exactly soundproofed. ;)
There's a small offended huff from Lily at what Pyrrhos said.
"Phaedra would come and tighten this please?" Lily asks, unable to reach the laces at her back - usually this was the servants job!
And then the ground started to shake. Not even dressed yet, Lily jumps up and transforms, her plumage a ruddy red to match her hair. "What in the Nine Hells is going on?" she swears, loudly.
Phaedra caught the dress before it could hit the ground and scowled at Lily with all the dignity her twelve years of age could muster.
"Stop being such a baby! And don't swear. It isn't ladylike."
Truth be told she was as scared as Lily. But being the youngest of the Svarogs had taught her the importance of always showing a brave face.

Ephebe |

i should have posted this a while ago, so this is a little in the past, back when the meal was being had.
Tarka, about halfway through her meal, decides that Louis had enough rest, and teleported over to him to wake him up.
"Lois! There's food!"
Despite the glances she gets, she hardly ever walks anywhere, just teleporting, not really thinking about how disrespectful she's being.and back to current times...
"Ready to go, jabby?"
says tarka, standing near the owls with Lois.
"I think you two should ride with me today," Ephebe said firmly. "I don't think it would be good for Lewis to exhaust himself again today. He needs time to recover before he can handle a long flight again."

"Agreed. It's too easy to feel defeated out here in these tents...we need resources and time if we are ever going to return to power...and if they're offering to give those away for free, well..." he shrugged. "We'd be foolish not to take advantage. Where's Cindra by the way? She can't possibly have slept through all that ground shaking," Solus asked.

Tarka the kobold |

"I think you two should ride with me today," Ephebe said firmly. "I don't think it would be good for Lewis to exhaust himself again today. He needs time to recover before he can handle a long flight again."
"Sure. Sounds good to me. I don't want him hurt again."

"I'll go look for her. Stay with the others. Lily and Phaedra are in that tent fighting. And Pyrrhos is standing over there being smug. Lucas is just over there. Be back soon," Solus said, heading back to the tent Hestia had just come from, in search of their other sister.

Ephebe changed into her dragon form and made sure that Tarka and Lewis were safely situated before taking off.

Dom Waverider |

Dom stirred in his sleep. Murmurs eecked out of his mouths. This was quite odd for Dom as he normally sleep silent and still.

Tamina |

Dom stirred in his sleep. Murmurs eecked out of his mouth. This was quite odd for Dom as he normally sleep silent and still.
FIFY. Tami does have standards after all. ;)
"Dom," she said, softly, shaking his shoulder. "Wake up, melnestae. It's morning."

Ardiente |

Ardiente's voice snapped her out of her distraction and she looked up smiling. "It's good to know that I have someone on my side," she said warmly.
Ardiente can't find the shoes. It would appear that they are not in the room.
"Huh. Weird. I don't think they're in here." Ardiente says, sounding genuinely stumped. He hadn't yet bothered to put on a shirt, but he had tossed out a fresh uniform onto his bed from his wardrobe during the search. "Well, if you don't want to walk to your room barefoot I guess I could carry you? Better than the.. uh... power boots, or whatever." he offers, sounding a bit confused.

Lily Svarog |

"I do believe that was what is called an 'earthquake'." He replies, looking rather up dignified as he tries to keep his balance during the tremor. "I hope they aren't common..."
::Agreed.:: Lily replied telepathically, glaring at Phaedra as she beat her wings hard to stay aloft in the confined space of the tent.
After a moment she resumes her humanoid shape and touches gently back onto the ground. She virtually snatches the dress back from Phaedra, though doesn't do anything that would damage the clothing itself. "It's perfectly natural to be frightened of the unknown Phaedra. Especially with all the madness that's happened this past week." she replied snarkily, the implication being that Phaedra's apparent stoicism was unnatural.
Ahh.. dysfunctional families. :)

Tyrrin Denulia |

He nods.
"After I got 'Thel settled, I went to see Pyry, looking for you. I don't know how his enrollment went. He didn't mention it, but he seemed in better spirits."I dunno what happened to Achilles, but if that player is still planning on playing him, he'd mention running into him as well. If not, then no point in it.
"Well then, at least that was settled." Tyrrin finishes a small piece of cheese and takes up a few of the pins she had left on the nightstand the previous night, and pulls her hair up into a practical bun at the base of her neck. A style imitated from Miss Jones, no doubt.
"I also need to work on repairing my telescope. There was apparently an EM blast during the attack on Saturday, and it's damaged some of the subsystems." At this point, Tyrrin's mostly speaking aloud, enumerating things she had to get done during the day. She might be just using Ghalen as a sounding board, or she might be looking for feedback. Difficult to tell.

Vai Sunwake |

"Oh," he replies, looking thoughtful at Vai's somewhat boastful proclamation.
"Very well. Should you tell me here, or would it be more comfortable if you told me over your breakfast?" (^-^)
Vai's grin certainly doesn't abate at the mention of breakfast, though her stomach makes it's demands heard rather loudly. No earth-splitting rumbles though, unlike some folk. "Breakfast sounds good." she says happily, and her wings once again flap seemingly without thought. It's a bit odd that Vai has yet to morph them away, but maybe she's finally ready to be seen for what she really is all the time.
It's about this time that Mel and Florence exit outside and see the splits in the earth around where Fei and Vai are standing in the dawn light.

Dom Waverider |

Dom awoke with a look of terror plaster across his face. His arm sprang up though they were coming to his defense. He looked around with confusion. "Tami." He said once the confused looked faded. He reached out the hold her.

"Ace" |

Would the kiss quake be felt inside the school much? Just curious

Tybalt Baneko |

"Thank you," he says to the light creature, "but I must correct your assumptions, we aren't lovers, in the usual sense of the term, we are, however, really close friends," he says gently trying not to twist the metaphorical knife in tybalt's back my wings have essentially the same stats as a dagger when used in combat when Tybalt speaks Dave looks down at him and says "nah, just a different culture, with different racial instincts I assume,"
Tybalt doesn't say anything, trying not to let the ping of 'just close friends' show up in his emotive aura, though it does only slightly.
"Ya, but still. She says something and then says something completely contradictory, and I just don't get it."He goes through the line, animating a couple trays to follow them with a cantrip from his amulet.
He gets usual breakfast food things. Magic feels better when you do it with sugar. Maybe it's just a fey thing...
He looks out the window.
"Mel's gone. Her stuff is there, though. Maybe we should find Dom. We still need to practice. I kinda ruined that yesterday..."

"If My Lady would like some assistance, I could be of use with the repairs."

Lewis the Jabberwock |

"Food?"
Lewis rolls over and looks around.
He happily eats pretty much anything before complying with Ephebe and Tarka's directions.

Raelle del Sol |

Ardiente can't find the shoes. It would appear that they are not in the room.
She blushed at the thought of him carrying her in his current state of semi-dress and looked away, trying to get her pulse to calm down a little.
"That's alright," she said hurriedly. "I'm wearing socks...that should be enough. It's not that far...and I have other shoes in my room."

Hmm....wonder how long it takes before they start trying to kill each other for real? ;D
"If you don't stop lecturing me, I'm going to tell Mother...and you'll have to lace your own stupid dress," Phaedra snapped back.

Lim-Môr Azair'vialys |

Lim-Môr eventually stretches out his limbs, wings included as he looks around the room grogily. He runs a hand through his hair as he yawns.
Pulling the sheet off he stands and sits down in the grass patch, still unclothed and enters a trance like state in which he prepares his spells.
That done, he showers and puts on fresh clothes, other than his vest which stays clean.
All this done, he departs for the cafe, getting some waffles and looking around for anyone he knows.

Tamina |

Dom awoke with a look of terror plaster across his face. His arm sprang up though they were coming to his defense. He looked around with confusion. "Tami." He said once the confused looked faded. He reached out the hold her.
"Pretty sure this is the part where you tell me what happened. It's obviously still got you pretty rattled," she said, gently stroking his hair. "I'm here for you, melnestae," she added, hugging him tightly.

Raelle del Sol |

He stops moving for a moment to run a suit diagnostic.
"You are correct. Small flaws do not register on the repairs list, but do detract from overall efficiency. I shall lower the filter standards during realignment."
"Uh...sorry?....you're welcome?...I don't really know how to stop it. Sometimes my vision just goes a little nuts like that. But ummm...glad it's helpful to you," she said awkwardly, not really sure how to deal with her new abilities and the awkwardness that often went with them.

Lang Fei |

"Okie dokie."
Sara climbs up onto Simba.
"What do you want to show me?"
She asks, smiling.
Lang watch her climb up. well I was going to show you the command for Simba to let us climb aboard, maybe another time he shrugs and climbs aboard.
he hands Sara the reigns Your the pilot, Simba knows the way just stay with the others and you will be fine.

Asha Soleil |

Asha was awakened by the slight tremor that was the earthquake, and she was up in the rafters before she realized that whatever it was it did not appear to be any danger to her. She climbed down and proceeded to sort through the clothes Tybalt made for her to find something to wear, humming cheerfully to herself as she did so.

"Ace" |

Ace stumbles a bit from the quake, but uses his staff to catch his balance. "That's odd, random earthquake. You ok babe?" He asks of his girlfriend.

Oops. Thought we were there already. Slight retcon?

Ginni |

Ace stumbles a bit from the quake, but uses his staff to catch his balance. "That's odd, random earthquake. You ok babe?" He asks of his girlfriend.
"Yeah...you get used to it. Those just happen sometimes. I think it's a student or maybe multiple students...whatever...like I said, you get used to it."

Ryuzo Kato |

Ryuzo Kato wrote:"Pyra is generally in charge, but she can't handle two classrooms so Fieri is subbing for Ephebe. I guess she found someone to sub for her for her music classes for today."
"I do. Very much so." he says, oath-like, looking into her eyes.
"If she tries anything, she'll regret it. Twofold." He sighs and smiles.
"Well, enough of this morbidity! Who's in charge of the elementary with Ephebe out and you in the infirmary?"
"I asked becasue I'm considering having a hand to hand class for the elementary students as well. Never too early to start."

"Ah. Who is that?"
"Not sure. He's listed as a..." she picked up the datapad off of the table and examined it. "Advaran Silvertongue? Goblin. Huh. Well, that should be interesting."

Kodjack Winterblow |

As she was nearly there she crossed paths with two folks, one of which was clearly a warrior and even dressed in armor. "Ah, a fellow warrior! I see they have all kinds who train at this place. I am Vickory West, who are you?"
Kodjack was snapped out of his thinking state by the sudden greeting. He looked rapidly left and right a few times, a little out of it after so much brain activity, then noticed the girl in front of him. Apparently, she was a warrior, as well, which was certainly welcome news; finally someone who would understand him! Forgetting about the don and the lunchroom, he reached behind him and drew his axe and held it up, preparing for a true warrior's greeting.
"I am Kodjack Winterblow!" he triumphantly declared. "Cold and deadly as the blizzard's wind! Sole survivor of my tribe, which has conquered all who have dared to oppose!"
After his introduction, he then strapped his axe back to his back, then grunted and nodded, allowing for her to give her own proper greeting, as well, just in case she didn't before due to some rule she was worried about; it wouldn't surprise him in a place such as this.
