"It's very rare if one does, but I have nothing against the mother of any of my children accompanies me as well. They can be most... entertaining, you see." He chuckles at the thought. " I believe you were leading the way to the infirmary, lad." He adds with a gesture, offering Gavin a distraction from the current topic.

Tybalt Baneko |

"We should start an ice people club. Then we can all learn new tricks."
He dives into his nest and pops out of the top.
"Do you have an end date in mind, then? Can these be done by the concert?"

Tybalt Baneko |

"Dom isn't made of ice, so no. That would be kinda racist in a weird way. More like a club for ice... enthusiasts is the best word I have."

Tybalt Baneko |

"Well, I suppose if that was the criteria, I'd be pretty lonely in the club, then. Good thing it's not."
He is silent for a moment, being finished with his statement, before he perks up really suddenly.
"We totally need to call it, 'Wouldn't It Be Ice.'"

Aanandareavekki |

Aananda finally made it out of the infirmary after an unintended (but necessary) stop to explain to a flustered doctor how to use the nanites. He seemed to be quite hopeless even though she'd simplified the user interface...perhaps she needed to adjust the design even further...
::Professor Zix, what was it you needed me for? Something about wards, was it?:: she asked as she walked towards her lab, frowning at the blinking light on her wristband. Why was it blinking? It was trying to remind her of something....

Morrivan |

Nurse Julie accepts the mugs with a smile. it seems Julie is making some progress with Morrivan.
She brings the mugs over and sets them on a table and brings the table beside the bed.
You will have to sit up, so you don't spill any.
She opens the bag of marshmallows and scoops a small handful dumping some into each mug.
This is cozy, isn't it. So, tell me a little about yourself. Julie's voice is pleasant and sincere.
Morrivan sat cross-legged on the bed, hunched over the steaming mug in her hands.
"'M a waterbender," she mumbled. "Only s'posed to be boys who're waterbenders where 'm from."

::I wish to study them. The headmaster and one who I believe is your offspring, remarkable that one, especially for one so young, has granted me access to view their ward structures, and I was told your lab is one of the best places to examine the structure of the wards and I request permission to access said ward::

Asha Soleil |

"Are you okay, Sis?" He asks Asha.
"Ummm....yes?" she answered in a strained voice. "There's just...snow....and fighting? But not fighting? I don't understand....I don't know when to duck....and I spilled my cocoa....and the guy next door won't believe me when I tell him I'm not a ghost....you'd think he'd get it when I spilled the cocoa on him, right? I mean....ghosts don't go around spilling mugs of cocoa on innocent bystanders all the time, right?" she asked, blushing.

::Alright, I'm on my way back to my lab now. I can meet you there and get you set up with those files.::

::verry well, I shall be there::: zix walks the short distance from where he was waiting ne'er the lab.

"It's OK, Hun. I'm sure it's OK. The guy next door is loud sometimes anyways. And you can 'fight' without trying to hurt the other person. It's usually called wrestling when it's hand to hand, or sparring when it's with weapons. Fighting is when you're actually trying to hurt the other person, and I definitely don't want to hurt your brother or anyone else here. Sometimes people do get hurt in wrestling or sparring, but it's not on purpose. And it's Poltergeese, I think Arthur."
He moves his paws around as he explains
Poltergeese is also wrong. A little closer, but still wrong. Tybs mispronounces technical names a lot.

"Oh. Well, I'm not. A ghost. I just get scared easy. I don't like it when people see me when I'm scared," she said, lower lip trembling a little.
"Umm....it's okay, Pyry. I'm not mad about the snow," she added, trying to be cheerful.

Tybalt Baneko |

"Hey, it's OK. Everyone gets scared. That doesn't make you different from anyone else."
He looks around for a moment.
"Could someone other than me hug Asha?"
He gives Arthur a slight look that means 'I don't mean special hugs.'

Tybalt Baneko |

"Ooh. You can do walls too? We have to build a castle or something sometime."
He gets excited when he finds out Pyry and him share a trick.

Asha Soleil |

"But you need to go enroll, Pyry," she reminded him weakly. He was either really easily distracted or really didn't want to enroll.

Melody Waverider |

Mel shuts off her data pad. after she is satisfied with the potential idea she has. but she does have lots of work to do.
looking about the room tyb's has found some new friends she decides that it best to maybe let them bond some, if anything it takes his mind off of Dave.
mel starts to slip towards the door to make a "stealthy" exit.

Nurse Julie listens to her really? I never heard of anything like that. records indicate you are actually teaching waterbending. that is definately something to be proud of. where do you come from that has such silly rules anyway?

Morrivan shrugged. "'M from a little town in a tropical swamp. 's called Jabisi."

Vai Sunwake |

Having reached the other end, Tryko'Sam rises out of the water and finds a towel to wrap and start drying off with. He heads over towards Vai, bare feet atop the intricate mosaic surface of the pool's non-water surface, made up of various dark browns, off yellow and black smooth stones sealed together. The pattern is clearly random in make, and if one liked too, losing thought in just watching their combinations would be an easy thing to do.
The butler person appears to meld into the background, back to his umbrella covered mini-bar area, where drinks can be made after a nod.
Once he's finally reached Vai, Tryko'Sam's got the towel around his neck, hanging on his chest (and thus covering himself up some), while dressed in nearly knee length black swim shorts. Where muscles do display, he's a lean and fit figure, more martial artist, versus weight lifter. No visible scars or tattoos either.
"Hey, flying? Why not take a tour of this?" He motions to the air and such. "It's a ranch I used to visit-- I think, back on my world. I was recreating it as an mental exercise while trying to work out the bod a bit. Good way to vent steam, swimming." He gives her, what she might recognize as his distinctive, smirk, and looks around. "These SIM rooms are really remarkable. I figure I'll be hanging out in them a lot until I get more settled."
The door she'd entered into at this point had shut, which appeared to be a simple looking doorway into the main building.
Looking back at Vai again with a smile this time, he asks, "How're the folks? We did good back -- uh, out there, thanks for the invite."
At this point, he starts to dry his mane, ruffling it up with the towel.
Sorry for quick post, trying to update at work. Apologies.
Vai's blush fades slightly when Tryko'Sam drapes the towel over the upper part of his torso, giving Vai some relief from her mixed up hormones and emotions. Thoughts of the first time she had seen Fei shirtless had popped into her head - as the situation had been very similar.
She's wearing the same slightly-bloodied clothing she had been wearing on their off-planet excursion, perhaps not having had time to change yet. There's a bit of puffiness and redness to her eyes that might indicate she had been crying recently, though it's not overly noticable. "Uh... hey. Sorry, I kinda wandered in here without realizing. Are you expecting more people?" she asked, remembering what he said about her being the first.
"Yeah... this is as good as anything else for flying." she adds, glacing over to him, not averting her eyes as much as she had been before the tower had come into place. "I was thinking the same kinda thing with flying - feels good to stretch the wings." as she says that, wings indeed begin to emerge from her back - blue, scaly, draconic wings. Once they've fully 'grown', she stretches them out and gives a few test flaps.
"My parents are... healthy." there's a pause there which indicates Vai's not entirely happy with that state of affairs. "We did do good. Thanks again, I didn't mean to pull your away from your date. I really did appreciate the help." Vai adds, after the fact.

Melody Waverider |

Arthur would stop her to ask her where she was going do you want to roll opposed perception/perception or should it auto succeed, I'll post assuming he is able to notice, "hey Mels, where you heading?"
Mel looks to Arthur, then to the rest in the room
I don't know yet. I have lots of different projects I'm working on. and these costumes is one of them. but I still have something else kind of important I'm working on. Hey, maybe you can help with it.
looking around the room, she smiles at how happy Tyb's looks now besides, Tyb's isn't lonely anymore.

Tryko'Sam |

Looking around while squinting at the sunlight, he shrugs and says, "First person other than me to test the simulation, basically. Door isn't locked, figured, whatever. Sweet-- pop wings. Take a spin. You want some course markers or something, or just a scenic tour? Mostly desert environ, mesa and rocks. Nothing threatening. Gotta test the parameters and build a module for that later. I really am digging the tech here. Good way to revisit my existing memories too." He grins broadly.
Motioning up to the air with a wave, he smiles at her and then walks over to where one of the us chairs are, flopping down and getting settled.
"Yer in a time compression, in case. I can turn that off if you wanted. I'll be here when yer done. You probably know how to quit the SIM if you wanted too, right?"
With that, he pulls out a baseball cap, with a 'No Fear' logo on it, black with the white stitching, grinning to where she stands.
She'd note he doesn't say anything about the date, or interruption there of.

Gavin Trell |

"A very good description if there ever was one. I travel on behalf of those who can pay my seemingly senseless prices, be they gold or a small hut on a mountain."
"What? People pay you to travel for them? Why not spend the money to travel themselves?"

Tybalt Baneko |

Tybalt is distracted by Pyry and Asha, and doesn't notice Mel leaving or Arthur leaving with her.

Arthur gives asha a one armed hug* as he leaves telling her "it was nice meeting you and your brother, we have to talk again soon, perhaps when it's not so late," he mentally adds or maybe when it's slightly later, and there aren't so many people around.** when he's this close it becomes noticeable that his body is warmer than most of the people you have met and it gives off a low soothing heat
*this was autocorrected to huff, this am mused me, ** no he's not projecting, his psionic stuff hasn't awoken yet, though at your discression a mental image of such may briefly enter her head

To thoses at the infirmary, it is noticed through the window that morrivan is sitting up and chatting with Nurse Julie, definately looks like progress is being made.
inside the room....
that place sound intersting, I've never been to any kind of a swamp. I guess thats why the waterbenders are there huh? are there lots of bug there? I really hate bugs, especially really big ones.
Julie makes a bug like face that actually looks more comical than scary.

Gavin Trell |

"I did not say I did it for money, now did I?" He responds, looking at Gavin seriously.."I said if I had to kill something I would. Or are you saying you would not defend yourself..?"
"I honestly do not know for sure. I have the means to defend myself...but...but I have no idea if I can kill...even to defend myself. I've never had to."

Vare, the Summoner |

Stifling a chuckle after the mention of 'act of passion', Maya's expression is one of bemusement, but, she doesn't press.
In response to the topic of plagues and the like, Maya says, "Oh, we cured people via chemical or biological solutions, medicine, which anyone with the proper training -- which wasn't very many, would be capable of producing, in the appropriate laboratories. I suspect, practically anything you might accomplish with magic, we did with science and understanding of the world we lived in. Trust me, though, sometimes there were quite a few scares about new epidemics cropping up. Thankfully as well, we had some extremely intelligent people dedicated to helping humanity. Worked out nicely-- save the historical periods of mass deaths, before science became more prevalent. It's an interesting history, not my favorite subject, though. I much prefer architecture and graphic art work. Along with ...well, the usual things someone did back home. Do people need a profession here to acquire money, or is this a socialized society where contributions are rewarded by a stipend or something? I'm curious how this society works. Form of government, etcetera, positively exciting, truth be told."
She glances around following his gaze occasionally, but doesn't seem to react poorly, or otherwise, to his strange ways. She does, however, appear thoughtful while walking along.
"I see, I see." Vare replies to the explanation of Maya's in regards to his questions. He's walking along somewhat absently, not really 'giving a tour' as may have been promised, but they certainly are walking through the school. A few students pass here and there, but given the general subdued atmosphere in the school following yesterday's attack and the fact that it is Sunday evening, the hallways are fairly empty.
"Well... I believe the High Seer - the Headmaster's influence, the school itself likely falls outside any particular governmental jurisdiction... though to be frank, my grasp of non-planar politics is... tenuous at best. There are many governments on Agartha, I can tell you that much. There are magocracies, and Seerdoms, among many others." He says with a wave of his hand, as if to encompass all of Agartha in the gesture. "Within the school, it seems that all who mean no harm are welcome - fed and sheltered. Teaching earns a wage,, though the true treasure of the school is the seemingly limitless library, and abundance of magical goods needed for research and spellcasting. At least, from my perspective."
"Of course, I'm not sure how your world functioned, but beyond these walls, you'll need coin. If all else fails, you could work as a farm laborer or something similar to earn a living wage." he offered, realizng he was failing to answer her questions somewhat, but not really sure how to elaborate properly.
